Long story short, I'm highly irritated. The staff tells you what they feel you need to hear to get a sale. I saw a bed frame online and went in the store to buy it. I asked if it would be an online order. Becuase weird things happen with online orders. They said they have it in stock, just not on display. So I ordered it alongside a mattress and bunkie board. They said everything would be delivered at one time, so I got the setup and delivery. It was an online order. Missing half the bed frame because they thought it was smart to have it in multiple boxes. They tell me that I can expect it next month. I can't cancel because they say it has a PO#, and therefore, it's on the way. Highly dissatisfied and will never use this damnable place again. So it's been five years since I bought my bedroom set. My headboard is wood With a leather insert. Only it's not leather I don't know what it is but it's razor thin and It just flakes off. The headboard isn't real wood it seems to be some synthetic material because there's a white substance underneath it. I also bought a foot bench. I take very good care of my furniture I spent a lot of money for it nearly $3000 and now I have to reupholster the headboard and the bench, very poor quality. And I also bought a fireplace the trim cracked but that was taken care of with The warranty because it happened within the first year. The heater went out but that was out of warranty. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. They sell warranties from a company called GBS Enterprises. I paid $279. I have a rip and called them and uploaded photos on 12/28/2020. Said I would get a call in 72 hours. Fast forward to 3/15/21 and I call again. They said they were sorry and a technician would call me in 24 hours. Fast forward to 3/29/2021 and no call. Called again and was told they would not honor the warranty. Asked to talk to the manager and was told i could email their claims. Checked Yelp and there are 100s of the same complaints as mine. We think it's a scam company and Ashley's continues to sell their warrant. They won't help, so I will not purchase from them again and make sure everyone I know doesn't either. I went there several times looking to purchase a mattress and frame because I was unsure if I liked it or not.. I asked specially if I could return the things if I didn't like it. I am very pleased with my experience at this store, especially with the salesperson Sal. We had been looking everywhere for a furniture company that not only had something we liked, but provided delivery and assembly up a three story condo. Because of work, I went in 30 minutes before the store was closing and Sal wasn't pushy, he was super understanding and patient as oppose to previous furniture salespeople we had worked with. I went in knowing what I wanted and he reassured my not only did they have what I needed at this store, but assured the delivery would be hassle free. Held off a few weeks before leaving a review for this Ashley Furniture location based off of past experiences and this one was just too good to be true right off the bat. We were able to order a sectional with Stella that was out of stock online so we were extremely excited, it was one we had been eyeing for months and it was on a pretty steep markdown online. We were moving very soon and found out Ashley couldn't ship to our new home... or the store that's nearby, so our sales associate said it would be fine for us to get it delivered to a storage unit. We got a new larger unit for the sectional since we only needed to store it for a day prior to moving, all working out! The day before our delivery we find out we were charged for all 5 pieces -- but our delivery sheet only said 4. We had a hard time contacting the store but finally got ahold of Justin who was able to see that we were charged for all 5 pieces but only were receiving 4, and got the other piece missing to be delivered. Sectional gets delivered to our storage unit today (as Stella, Justin, and the manager on duty that day knew due to us speaking to them about moving and our financing options) and delivery goes as expected. About 30 minutes later we receive a phone call saying it's against policy for them to deliver to storage units and that they need the items back, even though MULTIPLE PEOPLE IN STORE knew we were going to have it in a storage unit for less than 24 hours prior to our movers picking it up. The amount of time spent on hold trying to figure out what was going on was asinine because it seems as though no one really knows what the policies are there. We went back and forth with a manager who insisted on coming to pick it up from a storage unit, then finally said you know what, we're sorry, I talked to some higher ups and it's fine, it's in your possession now, and that was that. Upon opening our sectional... wow. Out of the 5 pieces I can only say one came in decent condition. 4 of the pieces have HUGE dirt marks on them and one was most definitely a floor model, but I'd even say maybe 3/5 were floor models since they already had the legs attached and noticeable wear. We were under the impression that our sectional would be BRAND NEW, that's what our sales rep had told us since it was coming from a warehouse. It looks like someone handled every piece with dirty hands and slid them across dirty floors, it's a white sectional so you would think maybe they would be a little careful. Overall an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. We always give places another chance but we've given Ashley furniture too many and this will most definitely be our last time shopping here. read more

If you want a chill shopping experience while looking for furniture, this isn't the place to go. From the moment we entered the store we were pestered and stalked by a predatory sales person. We asked to be left alone so that we can take a look around, and she continued to stalk us despite our wishes, came up to us 3 times trying to sell the products. It was obnoxious, they really need to train their staff. If customers don't want to be harassed while shopping, they should be left alone, especially after asking several times. They were much worse than the other furniture stores we went to. I don't recommend this place. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I spent over $3000 on a living room set, it's now been over a month and a half and my set is still incomplete. I went to the store to speak to my sales associate, Stella, to also purchase an additional item for my home, and mentioned this to her and she said she'd cancel. As of yet no cancellation has been processed nor have I received any sort of confirmation. As for my experience with Stella, I thought she'd be my go-to sales associate here, as that is why I returned last week. Obviously not, her main concern is the quick buck versus the customer relationship that ensures you have a lifelong customer. I went in to purchase a TV stand with fireplace insert, upon arrival, her manager, a woman named Martha, says to Stella in Spanish in a very rude tone "what does that man want, is he going to buy anything?". That should have been foreshadowing to my experience this time around. After a bit of browsing Stella and I finally found the right TV stand, and this time it was very straightforward, very little negotiation on my part because of the experience I had the first time. I was explicitly told by Stella I'd be receiving home delivery and assembly for the items. As I was confirming my delivery, I realized that there is only home delivery and assembly for the fireplace insert and not the actual TV stand as was promised by Stella. I feel completely defrauded by her. As a matter of fact, I was. Upon inspection of my paperwork, I noticed a signature that is not mine. I work as a finance manager at a car dealership, and I know the reputation car salespeople and especially finance managers have, but never, NEVER, have I defrauded a customer to make a sale, let alone forge a signature. The true scumbags and sleazy salespeople are in furniture sales, where there are no regulations or consumer protections in place like in automotive industry. read more

Trust these bad reviews. I bought a throw here two weeks ago yes just two weeks it's pilling and coming apart and has holes forming. They refused to take it back OR exchange OR even give me store credit to buy something else of the same price! I thought some store credit would at least be reasonable. Not for these crooks. Came to Ashely's to get a bedroom set. Right when I walked in I was greeted by a sales associate named Sue. I told her what I was looking for and she guided my friend and I to all the items that were in the description of what I wanted. Sue is very knowledgeable, friendly/kind and all around gave off a good vibe. She was very patient with me (I couldn't make up my mind) and most importantly didn't pressure me into getting something I didn't want. Sue told me all about the special financing they had which I got the 60mo no interest with 15% down and decided to go all out and get the best with that great deal offered! I purchased an adjustable base, one of the best mattress they sold, bed frame, head board, dresser with mirror, a night stand and some throw pillows all for $106 a month (that's like $26 a week payment). Everything I got feels and looks expensive (not like other stores). It was very fun making my own bedroom set (now I feel like I'm an interior designer lol). Shipping was fast.. I purchased the items on a Friday and everything arrived the following Friday. The delivery guys were friendly, fast and efficient. Great enough for me to wanna tip so I did. I had an overall 100% great experience purchasing from Ashley's furniture store. I even got Sue personal number to recommend her to my friends, family and co-workers. Please do not shop here. We have had issues with our furniture since it got delivered. All the technicians that have come out with the exception of 1 has said that it was a manufacture defect with the couches. Ashley agreed to replace the couches. Within a few months, the same issue started to happen. When we spoke to the representative #5 they said that they would have to go through all protocols to see if the furniture was a defect. Here we are now speaking to another representative and they are now telling us that it's not a manufacturing issue. Yet the last tech that came stated it was def a manufacturing issue Representative #6 stated that this last tech that came out was new at his job and his manager checked over his docs We had issues with our bedroom set as well. They changed the piece that was tearing. The rep said it was a courtesy to the customer yet we are paying for extended insurance which is now void because we already replaced the piece that was tearing even though we are still paying for the insurance. Their customer service is beyond horrible. Waited over 30 minutes to speak to someone who would give us answers. Lynn finally told us our manufacturer warranty had expired and they could not do anything for us. Pretty much had us going in circles. All of their notes were nothing to what was discussed. Frauds!!! I purchased a bed I ask the sales representative to help me select the correct foundation base on the mattress and bed I have selected, Ashley deliver the bed 30 minutes before the time schedule so I had someone else open the door. When I got home I realized the foundation and mattress was to low for the bed calls Ashley spoke to sales rep Sally and didn't want to fix the problem even though they are the ones who recommended n selected the bed foundation. I purchased a full living room set recliner, love seat, and sofa in March and was given an April 7th delivery date. All of this occurred as expected. However when the furniture was set up I discovered the footrest extension on both ends of the sofa are nearly impossible to operate. They require an extreme amount of effort to open the footrests. My wife has had a stroke and often requires me to open the footrest. I have contacted the warranty service on April 10th with the following results: i was given a day and time for a technician to come out with no opportunity to respond to the time of the appointment. The technician made a cursory inspection and was to take it back for possible resolution. After 3 weeks with no word I then called in to find out what was being done. I found no such report was made. I rescheduled the appointment . Again, I was given a day and a time without opportunity to verify it was ok. The service has since informed me that once a day and time have been assigned by the service I cannot change it with completely re-scheduling the appointment. With this kind of service I would sincerely tell anyone who is thinking of purchasing furniture from Ashley to think again. read more

They care about getting the sale, with the least amount of effort. No one cares if you're happy after the purchase. Do not waste your money on an extended warranty with them, it is rip off and no one will ever fix your broken item. I bought a power recliner, it was $1000 with a 5 year warranty. 18 months later the chair doesn't work, the motor is bad on the recliner. The warranty company (not Ashley, just the scumbags they contract with) makes you jump through hoops to get scheduled for an in home repair. This was difficult because Ashley entered my contact information incorrectly and my receipt isn't able to be pulled online. I had to call the store 13 times before someone would look up my receipt to get the warranty claim started. First appointment was 35 days away. Booked it, they cancelled it the day before. Rebooked for another month out, they cancelled that one the day before. Rescheduled again for another month out. They confirmed the day before, I took a day off to stay home for my 8am-11am appointment. They called me at 10AM TO CANCEL! Frustrating is an understatement. Called the store to see if they could help now that it's 3 months with a broken chair. They refuse to do anything. "It's not their problem" is the response. Rescheduled again, technician finally shows up, it's now over 4 months since the initial call. He takes pictures and says, "the motor is bad", which I had already diagnosed. The tech tells me that they have to order a motor and it will be a few weeks before I get it, then I have to call and reschedule another appointment to actually get this POS chair fixed. It will be a 6 month ordeal by the time this might get fixed, MIGHT! The lesson I learned, skip this store in particular! They have the worst customer service and no one answers the phone. I worked in retail sales for a decade and always answered the phone, it's usually an opportunity to make some money, these dorks haven't figured that out. Don't shop at Ashley stores, they don't care about customer service, loyalty or customer retention. The shortsighted "get the sale today, no matter what", mindset isn't worth the perceived savings. I 100% will not be purchasing my replacement sectional or other furniture from Ashley. La-Z-Boy or my local furniture stores will be getting all my future business read more

Do not waste your time here. Don't trust Ben or anyone in management, especially Michelle. They don't care about customers. My wife and I purchased a sofa and rug for our new place, provided the address and move in date to our rep. We scheduled them to be delivered by the move in date, but the sales rep said the rug was on back order, and it would come a little later. The rug was delivered two weeks before our move in date. We didn't get a call, an email, or any sort of notification of the delivery. When we moved in, we had no idea this had happened as our couch was being delivered and assembled. After a week and no rug, we called and we were told it was already delivered. The sales rep, Ben, never informed me of this process. The manager, Michelle, took no responsibility for the miscommunication by her rep, and customer service denied a case for this.
