Unless you have the time and patience of a saint, I would advise you go somewhere else for furniture. We purchased our furniture on November 27 and was told everything except 2 chairs would be delivered on Dec 11. Great! Dec 11 comes and we are missing a whole bedroom set. We call Ashley and was informed that our bedroom set would be delivered on Dec 26... WTH but ok. Dec 26 comes and we have no furniture. We call and they tell us that our furniture won't be delivered until the end of Jan. After talking to a manager, she tells us that she can get it to us on Jan 4. Great again. Today we received a call "following up on the furniture that won't be delivered today". I'm done. This is too much. read more

Walked in just to look and came out with a great buy! Nhat Tran was a great salesman, not pushy and allowed us to browse without the pressure. We got a great deal, beyond their advertised sale. Thank you Connie for your help! read more

Kimra was a great helping us find the right entertainment center. She provided all our options and helped us make a great decision

Came in today to look for a regular queen size mattress. We were greeted by Sonny. He immediately took us to the back where the mattresses were. The first matress he showed was a and we immediately fell in love. He showed us all the features and compared all the prices for the different sizes. We honestly weren't looking on spending a lot on a mattress but since we fell in love with it we couldn't hold back. He even threw in a complimentary bed frame and two memory foam pillows for no extra charge. A $1,375 value was pretty much given to us not including the saving from the sale itself. read more

Went there looking for a leather couch. My husband was ahead of me. When a large sales man pasted me on the heels of my husband. He wasn't going to catch him so yelled "hello". My husband stopped he caught up introducing himself "Tim" shaking his hand asking my husbands name. Saying "your the second Scott today". Giving him his card. And at NO time did he say squat to me! As us buying a new couch is US picking out the one WE like. We looked around and he swung by again to tell us it was 20% off but he could do 25% & if we bought the insurance on it to help pay he would give us 30% off his employee discount. I felt like we were dealing with a smarmy sales guy but only sucking up to Scott so we got OUT of there! read more

Just called Ashley Furniture in Long Beach, spoke with a Sabrina. Asked about the status of my order. Ordered a complete bedroom set that included bed spread and lamp, the only thing that wasn't shipped as of now was the bed spread. Gave her my phone number to check on order and per Sabrina looks like will ship next week. I explained to her that I spoke with someone two weeks ago and that was the same response. Then Sabrina had the nervous to say "well it looks like the wearhouse hasn't had the time to get around in sending your order". What the heck is that suppose to mean! What liars they are! I don't trust Ashley's at this point! read more

First I have to say My Husband and I purchased Mattresses first and the experience wasn't as horrible as the second time we visited this store. 2nd time we went in to Purchase a dinning set and we ended up purchasing a bed for our spare bedroom. My husband went to pay but didn't bring his Ashley card with him he asked if that would be a problem they stated no they could look him up. We went to the counter to pay and the Moron in the front was rude and insisted he could not find my husband in the system (that's funny they take our money every month) he proceeded to tell us we needed to reapply for an Ashley card we don't have an account there and we don't know what we are talking about. So we left and said forget but because the guy was so rude my husband insisted on going back to prove we had an Ashley account. They talked my husband in to buying the items after all so we did then we find out they wont have the items for a Month what yep sorry they are on back order do you want to wait okay we said yet fine. The order should have been here by tomorrow now we get a phone call asking if it's okay to deliver our table but they don't have the bar stools we requested, wait what we didn't order bar stools she says oh well yeah your chairs. My husband said no I want all the stuff I ordered a month ago delivered at one time okay will it will be another week to two weeks were sorry for the inconvenience. I can't even believe this store they must not want our business Last time we ever shop here. Rude customer service the sales guy was nice but he had no control with the way everything else treats the customers. I can't believe they are still in business. Ashley's maybe if you would listen to some of your customer complaints you could improve your store and have more revenue. I would love to add to this review finally received our furniture all seemed fine but husband checked better when he got home look at the damage this brand new bed has and the guys putting it together never even mentioned this shame on you Ashley furniture one of the worst furniture stores around read more

Purchased a furniture set back in September, Coffee table and end tables were on backorder but salesperson said they would be in by 09/28/2016. Well it is November 7th and still no furniture, Customer service is about a thirty minute wait on hold each call. If they tell you they will call you back, don't hold your breath. DO NOT make the mistake I did, shop elsewhere. People in the store will smile and get the sale and it is all downhill from there. The store will not help you with the problem, they direct you to the 800 number to sit on hold. read more

Great assistance and great customer service from Nhat Tran! Helped us with finding a couch wasn't over barring and just let us walk around and find what we wanted and then when we did he explained everything very clearly. We received what we believe to be a great deal on a very nice reclining sofa! I look forward to our delivery on Tuesday and if there are any future developments I will add to this post, but aside from friendly customer service and a good deal I have nothing to add. Thank you Nhat! read more

If there were such a thing of giving this company 0 or negative stars, that would be my rating. Their sales staff are so eager to get your business once you enter their doors! Disappointed with their lack of commitment once you order your items! We ordered a sofa sleeper from the Long Beach store. When they delivered, it was the wrong color. Order was put wrong into the computer they stated. Found out the right color sofa sleeper was in backorder, so we had to wait another 3 wks for it. We called to inquire about delivery; stated they tried to contact us (they never did) & stated that it's still backordered & probably won't be in the warehouse for another 2 wks!! No guarantees!! Tired of the run around with this company. They just lost another customer!! Now we know why they only have 2 1/2 stars...they're pretty pathetic!!! read more

This place is horrible!! I ordered a whole new living room layout, plus a bedroom set back in November. Here it is April I still have yet to get ideas that are missing. My table showed up broken... it took them 2 months to come fixed (yet the guy just painted over the issuse) so my table still isn't fixed. I can't seem to ever get a manger on the phone. My family and I went to Ashely to purchase a living room set on Thursday the 2nd. We were immediately greeted by Kevin whom helped us purchase the perfect furniture for our needs. Kevin was very knowledgeable for what would best fit my family needs based on what we wanted. We also needed a bedroom set and bunk bed for our boys. He allowed us time to browse on our own, then would join us to answer any questions and give us options that would meet our needs. Kevin was able to answer all our questions in great detail and was very helpful in ensuring we made the right choices. We purchased a living room set, bunk bed, and bedroom set for ourselves. We are very thankful for Kevin and his patience to make sure we were complete satisfied with our purchase! Defiantly will return for future purchases! Thank you again Kevin your great!! read more

I AM NOT EVER going back there again! We purchased a sofa about a week ago and had set the delivery date to today the 25th everything seemed to be in order until the delivery guys came and dropped off only 1 out of the 2 couch sets. Even though the delivery was for the 2 on this day. We called the sales lady that helped us I believe her name was "Patty Lopez" multiple times and no answer what so ever. This wasn't the first time this had happen and it sure wasn't the last. Still trying to call her with no response and also have been trying to contact the store with no answer what so ever. I purchased a sofa set 3 years ago. The sales person convinced me to buy the 5 year Guardsman Protection warranty plan, he said it would cover the sofa set for 5 Years. If anything happens to the couch or loveseat all I need to do is call the claims department and report it however I must call them within 5 days of noticing something and they will come out and fix the problem or replace it free of charge. He even wrote on my warranty call within 5 days. My kids are all grown up, so it's just me. I don't have any pets . I work about 50 hours a week so I'm not home much. My couch is falling apart, I have a large hole in the top cushion of the couch. The couches are peeling on the top. I've called the claims department twice and I'm getting the around and have been told my claim is denied. I paid nearly $1300 (which was the sale price on Black Friday) for my couch and love seat, and it's falling apart. Don't waste your money buying furniture here, it doesn't last and the extra warranty is a joke, Ashley Furniture doesn't stand behind their word. read more

Vinny our sales rep and Connie the manager were fantastic!! We had a horrible experience at the Hawthorne location so we came here and they completely turned our experience around. Vinny was apologetic and ensured us that he would right any wrong we experienced and that he did! Connie even offered an additional discount for the inconvenience that we dealt with. I just had the best experience shopping for my new furniture!!! Called ahead to make sure the store was still open (since I called later in the day) Mike answered the phone with the friendliest disposition and told me yes they were open and was welcomed to go check out the store. Soon as I arrived was personally greeted by none other than mike, who patiently showed me around and answered all my questions. Long story short picked out living room, dining room and bedroom sets which takes a bit of time (it was already past their business hours by this time) but Mike was very patient and explained all the financing details and helped me understand my options. He made the whole experience very very pleasant!!! Would definitely refer friends over for any furniture needs! Thank you Mike!!! :) read more

Just Purchased a new couch set and we love it! Better than the floor model by far! Thanks to the help of Adrian! He kept it real the whole time and that's definitely Appreciated considering we had originally bought a couch at the Hawthorne store and the manager seemed so pushy And after Making the purchase and going online to the reviews, we definitely returned before it got delivered. Thanks to Adrian and the team at the lbtc store we have a beautiful set and they were there in 3 days and 2 hours early! Wow! That's sales and service! Thanks again for being awesome and patient! Coming from a customer service background its definitely appreciated!! Will be going back for more very soon and will spread the word! And I'll add, reading some others reviews definitely blows my mind as I'm sure not everyone had such a great experience as we did, but coming from a huge company these reviews go a long way and great customer service speaks volumes for a company. Patience will help! To those who didn't have the same 5 star experience like we did, sorry but second chance is always good, go talk to Adrian! You never know it might end up greater than the first experience! Just saying!! Keep on rocking, Adrian!! read more

Well my descriptive review never made it onto their company website so I'm here to properly warn others. Extremely disappointed... I ordered a dresser that I needed but they said delivery would take awhile. Understandable because covid and when this is your first time ever buying an expensive piece of furniture than you expect it to go smoothly. WRONG. I waited 19 days for my delivery date and made sure I was not busy (turned down work that day) and sat on my bed for four-five hours straight for NOTHING. No phone call from the driver or anything. Keep in mind I confirmed the date AND time at least two times via text so they knew everything was solid on my end. I called the store that night and they said that they wouldn't find out anything until tomorrow because that's how the "system" is. Got it so I waited the next day and again cleared my schedule just in case they showed up. I visited the local store in person because the store I actually purchased it at was over an hour away. At the local store they give me another customer service line that just states, "sorry were experiencing issues call back later..." huh? What kind of scam... so I hopped in my car and went to the original store extremely upset that I was soooo excited about this new dresser just to waste more gas money, time and enthusiasm. I returned it and wasn't asked one question so I'm assuming maybe it had gotten stolen off the truck. No apologies or anything or any explanation. Never again. read more

I had the worst experience ever here. I ordered my couch set and paid cash on June 5th. $2,500 . Only the live seat was available and I was told the couch would be delivered July 16. Ok sure i understand. Covid 19 . July 18 and I realize no one called me for my delivery. I called and called and it was so hard to get a hold of anyone . Finally after being on hold for 20 min, I was told Aug 5th. Ok geez . But ok. August 4th comes and no one calls to confirm delivery. I call 20 times only to be told September 15th. Omg are you kidding me? I received confirmation of delivery but they never showed up. I call 20 times again only to be told sorry you are not on schedule until SEPTEMBER 24. Ooooh hell no. It took the regional manger to get my couch to me On September 17. This store is so UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY HAVE NO BASIC SKILLS ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THESE SITUATIONS. I hate this place now. My friend and I decided to go into Ashley's Furniture Store in Long Beach Towne Center after lunch to look at furniture for our apartment and were disappointed in the rudeness of the man at the front. As soon as we walked in, the man began to question why we had walked in the store and was very rude when we had asked if we could look around. He went, " Why? Are you looking for something? Are you meeting someone?" When we said we were looking for furnishings for our dorm/apartment, he said, "Ok! then go." So we decided to still take a quick look around when my friend realized he had left his post and stood at a distance watching us. He complained over us loudly to another worker who then told him "They're kids what can we do?" My friend told me they were talking rudely about us and continuing to stare, so she said it was time to leave. We turned out of sight where they couldn't see us for a second and when the man realized he could not see us, he moved across the store to watch us again, pretending to go back to his post. My friend said, "Alright, we don't need to put up with this treatment and we need to leave." So, we walked out. Ashley Furniture Store in Long Beach Town Centre will not be used for our furnishing needs in the future. I hope management or whoever runs the store knows schedules and names because regretfully, we did not get them in our haste to exit. Pier One Imports down the block was much more welcoming to us and will be receiving our business. read more

Run! Do not purchase here. At first the salesman obviously trying to get your sale is kind and nice. We purchased a set of couches two weeks ago. Fast forward to delivery day we get a call saying the couch had a tear and now the ouches are back order till April. It's February 28 today. If they would have called us a week earlier we wouldn't have sold our couches. Mind you we have been sitting on the floor having sciatica pending the delivery of our couches. We go back to the store and ask to speak with our sales man Kim and he right away says hold on and get his manager. Didn't even try to help us right away just gave it to his manager that was clueless as well. Come to find out the salesman had order the wrong couch for us as well. The manager was not empathetic and didn't have any customer service or people skills. Pretty much they didn't do anything for us but waive the delivery fee for us. We picked other couches only because they had already ran our credit for those damn couches. No one at that store had any empathy. Sadly I will never purchase anything from Ashley's again. Better off going next door to BOBs. read more

I bought a couch. Was told that if I did not like it in my home the delivery guy would take it back and refund my money. The couch was too big. The delivery man just left without taking the couch. When I called and complained they ignored me and would not return my calls. I went down to the store and told them I never signed for the couch which was true they told me I did but as it turns out my name was forged I was upset my name was forged but they did not care. Told me to call the corporate office. Called today waited 20 minutes on the phone on hold. Called back at 4 waited and hour on hold never got anyone. I called at least 15 times to different people no one cared that my name was forged and they left the couch at my house. This is the ashley in Long Beach. Stay away!! Online the store hours say they open at 10am. However phone has been ringing for over 5min and no one answers. Reason I'm calling the location is because i was delivered the wrong dinner ware placemats and area rug for my dining set. I was not home when items were delivered and nephew signed for delivery. I came home and noticed the wrong items, I called delivery guys thinking they just got packages mixed up. They advised to call store to get problem resolved. The girl over the phone was helpful and most likely new but suggested I return items to store and order the correct pieces that would then be sent to me via ups. I replied that would be fine if I had not paid $130 for delivery on 8pcs of furniture (aside from 5pc dining set I purchased 60" tv stand, couch and love seat + accessories). I suggested that I could send images of the items I wanted and they could place order, have them shipped and then provide me with a ship return label for the 3 incorrect items I have in my possession. She said her manager would need to call me back and she took my information down yesterday, December 5 @4:30 and still no call back! ! 21 min into writing this review on my phone and the call is still ringing on their end with no response! I'm really not feeling like driving to long beach to get this settled! I had a great salesman nhat but unfortunately the items entered into the system were incorrect and now I'm here writing this long review! Ugh manager needs to call me back ASAP! Adding a pic that proves how long I've been waiting on phone with no answer! read more

worst place ever. they constantly reschedule deliveries and don't tell you until the day before. i was told my couch would be delivered 4 weeks ago and still don't have it. when they finally brought *half* of it (because of course the other half was on backorder - again) it was broken. they asked if i still wanted it...? seriously? do i want a brand new broken couch? no. i had them take it back. i decided to change my order because i could already tell i was going to have problems with the electric recliner since it already came broken - and while they were accomodating to my change - i was there for 2 hours while the front desk girl (most unfriendly stuck up girl i've met) and the sales woman (completely clueless about everything) tried to get their sh*t together. i stood at the front desk waiting for the rude front desk girl to help me and she proceeded to talk to her co-worker about lotion... seriously?! as i am standing there waiting...? they did send me a $50 gift card but it's been over a month since i walked in there and bought new couches and i still don't have them. i did buy a new matress at the same time of the couch and not only did it come on time (shocker) it is seriously amaaazzzzzingggg!!!! the bed frame on the other hand - my boyfriend had to literally re-build the frame because it came broken and we didnt want to deal with them again. while writing this, i have been on hold for over 10 minutes with them. so ridiculous. read more

The customer service is just ok, but as always when buying large items you feel there is something they no and you don't. In this case, the common courier delivery of the "special" items. Lamps, rug, pictures etc. When you live in a secure building ( and the word secure is used lightly here) you cannot always catch UPS. I would've been more than happy to pick the items up at the warehouse or at the store where I purchased the couches and tables. They really don't care, they've made the sale now it's pretty much on your own how the other items get to you. Our couches and tables are now 4 weeks older than the additional items to come all good. I'll go over to the liquor store where UPS dropped my other items and have my husband watch my back...lol. Thanks so much Ashley.. read more

Mother in law purchased a sofa here. I had offered to pick it up if delivery cost was high, at $140 it was! So, as instructed called the distant warehouse in Colton to get an appointment. All automated, not an issue, but the sales lady, Claudia, had neglected to provide a PIN. After calling the store and sales lady for about an hour with no answer my wife drove there to get the PIN. Finally appointment set. Drove pick up and found the warehouse, not easy. A security guard signs you in (nasty looking neighborhood). After long drive wife needed restroom, only foul outhouses available for customers. Fortunately got sofa loaded shortly and found restroom elsewhere. Got sofa into house. Next issue was having to go home to get drill and tools to attach feet, was supposed to have been pre drilled before leaving China. Never again. Will choose a company closer or with less costly delivery. Another issue was sales lady constantly trying to sell a mattress and other unneeded stuff. Usual crap. But a beautiful store. read more
