6 days ago On Friday 01/15/2021 I decided to visit this store to make a purchase or finance furniture. I ended up financing a mattress with a plan to pay 90 days same as cash. During the verification process the individual looked at my ID and suggested that I update it... I then retorted that during the time I took that photo I was a nursing student and sleep was 0 to none... I offered to show additional ID however it was stated me that it was not required (very telling). After checking out and rendering a partial payment I was given my delivery date and sent on my way. At approx 06:30pm I received an email from the sales associate (Stanley Lee) stating that before my delivery was placed on hold as I needed to have an updated ID with a matching picture (this indicated to me that they were insinuating that I stole someone else's Identification). As I called the location they informed me that they conveniently just got a new system that requires further ID. I chose to reply to the email with pictures of my name badges etc indicating that I am who I say I am. What I did not notice at the time that something personal in the picture that belongs to my boyfriend was in the picture partially. The very next day I made my way back to the store to provide every last item that they needed for the conveniently new ID system they received. At the door the sales associate (Stanley Lee) informed me that the delivery was still on after he showed his boss the information I sent. I then informed him that I wanted to be sure to provide all my information as they were attempting to accuse me of identify theft. He then replied and stated that I must admit I look like an old man in that picture which confirmed my suspicion that I was being discriminated against disrespected to the highest power as other shoppers could over hear him. Once we reached the verification section he stated to the young lady "I was telling him that he looked like an old man in that license picture". He then looked at me and pulled up the email where I replied and zoomed in on the personal item in the picture (all the shoppers and everyone else around could see this). He also stated to me Everyone was talking about it and discussing it. I then just gave them the information they needed and got out of there as I had never been so humiliated, disrespected and embarrassed in my 31 years of living. What makes it even worse is that we are the same race! I pray that you all do not have this same or a similar experience with this establishment. read more

Ashley Furniture made me mad today!!!! Bait and switch. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNTIL YOU READ THIS! I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. I have been shopping online and downloaded their app. I thought it would be a quick purchase. First of all the prices online are MUCH cheaper than in the store. The salesperson actually said it's because there are salespeople to pay, and they have a hard time competing with their own website! I wanted to purchase a big ottoman and see what it looked like with the sofa I wanted. He would not let me move it to look at them together. Just take a pillow and check the color. I told him I still wasn't sure... he said well if you dont like it you can refuse it when they are delivering it. YEAH RIGHT! THATS MUCH EASIER THAN LETTING ME LOOK AT IT TOGETHER IN THE STORE !?!?!?!?! Then they tell you they charge 200 to deliver... but online it's FREE... but they will make an exception for me today.... and take it off... They have Veterans Day financing specials ... Up to 72 months zero percent financing..... BUT you have to pay the MSRP price that is DOUBLE the price that it is listed for sale on the sticker. WHAT A GREAT DEAL!!! I guess the think the consumer is typically an IDIOT! And I was a dumb ass today because the salesperson and manager said yes we will work it out!! Just fill out the financing form... of course it was quick and easy to get approved.... THATS WHEN THEY TELL YOU THE PRICES YOU TALKED ABOUT AREN'T THE PRICES THEY WILL SELL IT FOR IF YOU ARE FINANCING!! This is no exaggeration!! My purchase was to be about $3800 and with my FREE FINANCING IT WAS 6500!!! WHAT BULLSHIT.... please share this with everyone!!! read more

John and Bobby are awesome! We went to so many furniture stores and didn't notice Ashley Furniture until the end of the day. We ended up getting a sectional and a recliner. I was extremely impressed with these two guys. The delivery was exceptional and they took great care in the delivery process. I appreciated all of these folks in this process. My wife and I had not purchased furniture since we got married 24 years ago and there was no since in doing that until the kids were grown. Bobby took extreme care in making sure we were comfortable with our purchase. He was so incredibly patient and helpful. But not to much, so that it didn't even remotely appear rushed. I could tell that he was in deed interested in us. We didn't get that in any of the other furniture stores we visited that day. In fact, if he ever wants to move to Carrollton for a sales job, he has one with my company. I was that impressed. And I really liked the purchase kiosks in the store. When we picked out what we wanted we went over to the kiosk and entered our credit information and had the approval in less than a minute. That whole process didn't even take 5 minutes. What can I say other than it was just a really great experience. And I am glad we went to Buckhead. There is a difference! The store was neat and organized in appearance and very clean. The store looked very professional, as well as, the staff in the whole store. The furniture inside the store was very classy and I tell things like they are, and there is a reason why you should go to Buckhead. ASK FOR BOBBY. You'll be glad you did! read more

My experience in the store was fine. I actually returned for another purchase before my first delivery was made. I purchased a dining room set and bedroom set from same manufacturer and set my delivery date for both orders on one date. Beautiful sets for good prices. Problem is Ashley HomeStore contracts their delivery. I happen to get two separate delivery dates instead of one due to Ashley scheduling error. The widow for delivery set up by XPO is simply that a blind window. So half my order on truck on May 11th and over 2 hours late to both orders on truck on May 12th just leaving warehouse in East Point (which is greater than an hour to my home) 15 minutes prior to my delivery window closed caused me to ask for delivery money back and simply cancel an almost $10,000 order. Jason (supervisor ) at XPO truly lied about my delivery window on May 12 during two separate confirmations. The delivery team will text, email and call you. Then Ashley will call, text and email for your deliver not to happen as planned. No respect for your time. I will never purchase from Ashley again because as big of a company Ashley is they have no business sense to contract a dependable delivery company. I wasted 12 hours waiting and 3 hours on the phone not to mention responding to text, emails and calls on 2 deliveries that didn't happen. I am so thankful for Ms. Vanessa and Mr. Marcus who listen to my concern as my sister-in- Christ had been sleeping on the floor on a torn out mattress for seven years, and I needed their help to get her the Cool Creek King Mansion bed, dresser and mirror, and the night stand to match. Well..to my amazement not only were they apart of Ashley Furniture, but they were also Christians. I was due to go in the hospital for surgery, but Mr. Marcus searched diligently to get each and every item that I wanted. They felt my heart's care about our sister-in-the- Lord. I wanted it to be a surprise to her, so when the delivery persons who came to setup her furniture, they too became apart of God's miracle. It was such a blessing to her and her daughter that she ran into the closet, closed the door, and thanked the Father for her miracle. Not only did Mr. Marcus make sure that everything was successfully completed, he called me with a follow-up of how our sister-in-Christ loved the furniture. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture to everyone. When I save up my money, I will be back to get me some livingroom furniture. Praise the Lord! AN ALERT ABOUT ASHLEY FURNITURE: Buying Experience From Hell my warranty was valid with Lithonia,ga location but my request was denied by guardsmark protection plan. I filed a complaint with ashley corp office and locate office/bbb. we finally agreed on the settlement amount. the old management was fired and new management Derek Mason of Lithonia,ga store location promised to make things right. well, the check came two weeks later very short of the amount. i called management at corp..three supervisor called and process the underpayment refund. well, the second check was just $43.00 i believe the local store in Lithonia, ga and corp office did this to make me upset. i ask for the todd Wanek-CEO contact information..no information was given.......i'm mentally upset and will never again buy from Ashley furniture. this problem has been going on for about 1 year.....i cant reach no general manager or upper management other than supervisors i wish i could give zero stars read more

Great selection but even an even better salesperson, Mickhael was close enough to answer every question we had about the pieces we were considering, but far enough away so that we did not feel pressured.... Funny thing is, we were approached at least six times by other sales people asking if we had been helped, each time we told them Mickhael was working with us, but it seemed like they just waited till the prior sales person left to step around the corner to take their shot! lol We loved Mickhael's approach and knowledge of each item we sought to purchase, Ashley Home Store has a great employee on their staff. Once we receive our delivery, We will update this and speak to the quality of the furniture delivered. My Sales Associate was the best; friendly, personable, professional, knowledgeable and patient. After establishing what I was looking for, she very methodically showed me everything in the showroom that fit my request. The most difficulty was making a decision among many available options. The sales and delivery processes were completely seamless. I received great discounts, and delivery arrived on the confirmed date at the front end of the delivery window. The only hiccup had to do with my personal space and the size of the furniture, but that was on me. I've been an Ashley customer for several years and continue to be pleased with the quality of furnishings and services offered. read more

The service was excellent. No pushy sales tactics. Store was clean, several items did not have price tags however Walter was more than willing to confirm price on any item. Original sofa I wanted was not available in showroom so he showed me comparable color/size sofa in showroom. I visited more than once and I had been to several other stores/areas due to recently locating to GA. I will definitely purchase again from this store. Overall it felt like I was shopping with friends. For excellent service please ask for Walter G or Ron P. Btw items delivered early. I have to say that I love to be greeted upon entering an establishment because it'll dictate how the exchange will go. Although I didn't get a "hello" I did get one of the most professional and courteous sales rep ever. Marie was knowledgeable and had a fantastic flair for the urban look I was trying to achieve. We've purchased furniture from Ashley's at Stonecrest Mall in I Lithonia in the past and have been very satisfied. Our most recent purchase of a dining room table and chairs was just as satisfying. Everyone is always pleasant and professional. Mary and Chris were magnificent in assisting us with ordering and scheduling our delivery. The furniture arrived as scheduled, and the two gentlemen that delivered and assembled the furniture did a wonderful job while being pleasant and professional. Can't say enough about my wonderful experience with our Sales person Wade and how awesome the delivery men were. All went above customer service. I've had good, bad & ugly with furniture being delivered. Not this time!! White glove service. They protected the doorways with padding, padding on the floors & even wore protective shoe booties so they wouldn't track in dirt. Put my new Sectional where I needed it and made sure I was happy. AMAZING SELECTION. My fiancé and I went in to browse their couch selection first thing in the morning. We were greeted when we first entered by Mary Brown. My wife and I purchased a dresser from Ashley in late April of 2017. It is now July 29th 2017 and two of the drawers are not working within 3 months. We had their "technician" come out and look at it. He ripped one of the dresser drawers out of the dresser and broke pieces. Literally said "oops" when he did. They called us a week later and told us it was not a manafacturer issue and therefore there is no more that they can do. I would beg you to stay away from any Ashley furniture pieces. read more
