Damaged furniture photos

I've ordered a few items from Ashley and honestly I don't know why I keep giving this store the benefit of the doubt because this is my second bad experience with receiving damaged merchandise. Well that stops now! My most recent purchase was for a bench to go at the foot of my bed. Loved it in store, but when it was delivered to my home, it was damaged. You can see in the pictures that I didn't even take the item out of the box after noticing the wood being split. Well it's been over 3 weeks since I've reported this issue to Ashley and they still haven't replaced the item. I've visited the store twice and made 3 phone calls including one to corporate and still no resolution. Obviously they have permanently lost my business since I am stuck with an item that I can't even use. Horrible customer service! I get having an issue from time to time - no company will be perfect, but Ashley fails because of them not making the situation right. So buyers beware.

It can be a little intimidating trying to fill a new home with furniture but not know really where to start. You're trying to make everything look like Architectural Digest but you're also trying not to break the bank. My advice: shop around. Get some ideas of what you want and keep in mind that you'll have to deal with that furniture if you move. It's better to really fall in love with the piece that you have and move it with you! Every city has its version of Ashley's which is a store with predesigned premade "rooms" that you can walk into. Each piece of furniture in the interior designed show areas is for sale. When you walk in you're greeted by a customer service person. All of them are clearly trained to make friends with you. You expect that at stores like these because each person is probably making commission from the sales that they make. They want you to like them and remember them. Our sales associate, Andrew, was cheery and full of energy. That should be the expectation for a store like this but what Andrew had that was above and beyond other people whom I have worked with is his knowledge about the furniture and his willingness to work with you to get the best price. We bought a dining room table and a mattress and these are solid pieces. We could find all the rustic pieces we were looking for in the store and they fit perfectly in our new space. I know other people have had issues with their delivery service but to be honest, they were right on the money when they quoted us a time and each person took care when delivering the furniture into our house. They walked through each piece of furniture before they had me sign any paperwork and left. Thus far, I have had a great experience with this Ashley's store and I enjoyed working with Andrew. Will be back for more furniture... just need to figure out where everything needs to go!

I been shopping at Ashley since 1995 in January of 2021 I decided to remodel my home I went to Ashley store in Lithonia Georgia 30038 the first purchase was lamps and accessories with a bedroom set I went to pick merchandise up at the warehouse when I got the merchandise home open up the boxes the lamps were damage made contact with Ashley's Furniture Store they said take pictures of the damaged merchandise email us the information six months went by Ashley made up every excuse there was in the book Ashley came to my home twice took pictures of the damaged merchandise six more months went by made every excuse there was in the book Ashley decided to build a brand-new Distribution Center in Atlanta Georgia and they made me wait 14 months with all their excuses Ashley finally decide I could go to the warehouse pick up the merchandise get to the house gave me the wrong merchandise call Ashley made up every excuse their was then Ashley made Arrangements to bring me the new merchandise on April 5th and April 12th they never deliver the merchandise Ashley and never knocked on my door or called me on April 13th of 2022 made contact with Ashley Ashley Furniture Store they hung up in my face 8 times Atlanta Georgia is 75% black very unprofessional at this particular store in Lithonia Georgia 30038 Ashley corporate offices are very aware of the situation but they don't do anything about it once Ashley gets your money you are left to fend for yourself I will never purchase any more merchandise from Ashley and I would never recommend family friends or co-workers to buy anything from Ashley in Lithonia Georgia at 30038 Ashley Furniture Store does not care anything about their customers it's all about money unfortunately it will most likely take me another 14 months for them to replace the wrong merchandise

My couch I had to wait forever for

I walked in the store and was greeted by the sales people on the floor. I was also given the labor day sale paper to see the specials they were offering. I had a picture of a couch that was on sale on the website and it was five dollars cheaper in the store. SWEET! I purchased my furniture but I had to wait a week to get it because I couldn't take a day off work so decided to wait for a weekend. Here's where it gets tricky. A couple days later I get a text from Ashley Furniture (The company) asking if I can confirm the date. I text back my confirmation. It also text me back giving me a time window. I confirmed via text. (It also text my secondary number as well which text back the same confirmation) I even called to confirm and actually spoke with someone. The day of my delivery came and someone from the store called me and says that I need to schedule a delivery date. I informed the woman from the store that I was already given a day and it was in the next. I told her to call to double check. She called me back and said I wasn't scheduled for that day. I went straight to the store. Long story short I could not get my money back for the delivery even though it was not delivered on the intended day. They only gave me ten percent back and I had to wait three more days. As I said, nothing wrong with ashley furniture it is the delivery system. Once they fix that they would have more satisfied customers.

Originally they only delivered two nightstands, a broken headboard (3 unsuccessful deliveries) and then was told that her dresser wouldn't arrive until November. HOWEVER, when I return back to the Atlanta area in November, to my amazement, I witnessed that the entire store go out of business! As it got closer to the delivery date I received no further communication from American Signature so I logged into my online account on 11/06/20 and at that point realized my delivery date had been changed to 12/16/20. This ruined my Thanksgiving plans. I contacted the Lithonia store which was listed as my local store. The local store routes the call to corporate. After a 70 minute wait I finally spoke to someone who apologized and said I should of received a call about the changes delivery date. During this encounter I requested to change the color of the dining room furniture and informed the color change would be processed. I purchased this furniture on an American Signature credit card and despite not having the furniture I was billed and had to start making payments. I called corporate about this who directed me to synchrony bank who directed me back to American Signature. I just started making the minimum payments to protect my credit. For the record any calls to corporate has an on average wait time of at least 45 minutes. The furniture went on sale for Black Friday. I contacted the Lithonia store to see if I could be credited for the sale price since I still do not have the furniture. I was told an email would be sent to corporate to adjust the price which can take up to six weeks. Finally, the furniture ordered on 10/01/20 was delivered on 12/16/21. However, it was the wrong color. I called the Lithonia store and informed them and was initially told the color I wanted would not be available until April 2021 and I would incur a restocking fee because they had no record of my color change request. I immediately protested this and was told the restocking fee would be waived and I would be contacted in April to schedule delivery to change the furniture. After an excess of eight weeks I called American Signature about the credit for the Black Friday sale. I was told there was no record of me calling. At this point I was beyond over it. They even tried to say I wouldn't of qualified for the credit because it was 21 days past the purchase date. I told them that makes no sense considering I didn't even have the furniture in my home at that point. I could of just canceled my original order and rebought it at the Black Friday price. I asked to return the furniture for a full refund and the request was honored. I am now infuriated because when American Signature came to my home they disrespected it. While retrieving the furniture they scratched and scraped my hardwood floors. Surface and deep scratches from where they carelessly dragged it across the floor. I contacted corporate and now I have been told American Signature insurance company will contact me within 10 business days. I can't understand how and why their workers will do something like this. This is by far one of the worst customer experiences of my life. I wished I never bought anything from this company.

I do wish this was closer to where we are (it was about an hour away) but since we found a piece of furniture we were looking for, it was worth it. It was also nicely organized and laid out well. Would recommend! Also, this is an outlet just FYI. The old one used to be in Duluth and had great deals, but now this is the only one I'm aware of in the area.

This Haverty's store is the absolute WORST!! It's now an Outlet Store. We haven't been there since…read morethey changed it. We went in 7/24/24 saw a beautiful Curio Cabinet and went back to purchase it on 7/25/24, we planned to finance the purchase and use our Haverty's cc. The salesman failed to mention the financing options available to us. The cashier discloses they require a 10% deposit for the item, never heard of that before and we were not happy about it. But, I loved the piece. We get home I contacted corporate and the credit card company to voice my concerns. I spoke with the store manager Manny and he was rude and refused to change our financing options. So, we decided to cancel the order this store will NOT get our money or business ever again! This location has the worst customer service, even before they became an outlet store! The Snellville location is nicer, and the staff is much friendlier and more knowledgeable. If you're looking for quality furniture and a great shopping experience then DO NOT waste your time and money at Haverty's in Lithonia, GA! I would rate this store a zero, if it was possible!
