If I could give this location zero stars, I would. This branch is staffed with two very unprofessional, unaccommodating employees. I had a very negative interaction with two of their management team members. Mr. Hughes and Mr. Carter. We purchased a set of coffee/end tables on clearance. With these purchases, we were originally asked to pick up the tables within three days of purchase. On day one, I went and couldn't fit the furniture in my car. On day two, my fiancé went and was told he had to bring the original receipt (not a scanned mobile copy). On day three, my fiancé went and was told that in addition to the original receipt (which he'd brought), I also had to be present, since my name was on the invoice. This last detail was not previously communicated. At this point, we were very concerned, because we'd reached our three day maximum. We were in fear that the tables would be resold. My fiancé requested a letter with Ashley letterhead to ensure that we'd be able to get them when I could join him. Mr. Hughes laughed at his request. Mr. Carter explained that we had "his word" that the tables would be there. Why would be able to count on his word, when nothing that we'd heard from his team, to this point, had been consistent? I then called the furniture store and spoke with Mr. Carter, first to explain that I'm giving my approval for the furniture to be picked up. Second to report Mr. Hughes' unprofessional behavior. In this conversation, Mr. Carter managed to cut me off and talk over me on multiple occasions. In all, he tried to dismiss the validity of my concern with the strength of "his word." A company that does not take steps to satisfy a customer is a company that does not deserve customers trusting them as a place where you can spend large amounts of money. I am shocked that this store does not have any reviews yet! I bought my couch here a bit over a year ago and had a wonderful experience. I was looking for something different than IKEA, but not expensive and several friends referred me here. The sales associates at this store were fantastic. They were incredibly helpful at answering all my questions, but also very gracious and not at all pushy. I can be quite indecisive (particularly with important decisions such as buying my first new couch) and they were patient as I made sure to sit on almost every affordable couch in the store. I found "the one," but felt I needed to see what was at other stores for comparison. I headed over to several of the other furniture stores in the area and didn't find anything that I liked more for a reasonable price so I headed back to Ashley to seal the deal. I picked a couch that they had in their local warehouse so my dad and I headed out that afternoon to pick it up and move it into my apartment. The process of picking up the couch went through without a glitch. The process of moving it up the flight of stairs into my apartment is a whole other story, but since I could have had it delivered I can't really pin that experience on Ashely. The couch I ended up with is an olive green color and so comfortable. I have had many friends comment on its comfort when at my apartment - win! It has also held up really well. I had a really great experience when purchasing my new mattress. One of the employees was helping another customer with a purchase to her car, so I was already warmly greeted in the parking lot before I even entered the store. In the store, my sales person was friendly, asked me without being pushy about my needs and what I was looking for and guided me into the right direction. I was able to pick out a lovely new queen size that I cannot wait to finally have delivered in two weeks. I cannot wait to move. All in all, it was a painless process. I got a deal on my furniture that turned out to be 42% off rather than the assumed 15% the sales person originally quoted me and of course home deliver for a reasonable cost. I was also able to do their interest free financing for 12 months so the expense will not be over-board. Very happy, will come again when I eventually upgrade to an actual home over an apartment. read more

Unfortunately , the new night stand arrived , one of the corner was damaged again. This is so disappointed. Don't understand why would they mail out damage product. My sales representative Stillman was the absolute best. My original plan when I went in Ashley HomeStore was to look at the selection of mattresses and then go to American Signature and compare prices. But Stillman was so knowledgeable about the mattresses I actually made my purchase that day. I am a VERY picky shopper and he really took the time to explain the pros and cons of each mattress so I felt very comfortable making my selection that day. When I got the mattress and box spring delivered to my home he made sure everything was delivered to my satisfaction. I really felt as though he went above and beyond in providing really quality customer service because he already made the sale in the store. He really didn't have to do anything beyond that. I actually felt he genuinely wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I really appreciated him! Let me tell you about what a friendly, professional, warm blessing he was to us! He understood our budget and really worked with us. Today I was on a mission to purchase a couch that would look really nice in my home. After months of searching I finally found one that was a great buy and was really looking forward to buying and enjoying in my home. When I walked into the store I was greeted and was made aware of the sale that was currently going on today 15% off of living room furniture. When I came across the furniture set i was ready to buy the sales lady told me that the set I was interested in wasn't on sale. Even though there is a sign in front of the furniture with the price and the name of the set it wasn't included in the sale. I stated that it was false advertisement and want the sale that the price and sale was stated for. Ashley furniture lost a sale today. I was really looking forward to buying the set. What a HORRIBLE experience! ISSUE #1: Dishonest Sales Practices In-Store, everything seemingly went okay. My salesperson SEEMED to be a very honest, personable, and polite. Once I checked out and reviewed my invoice, I noticed that she had charged me $150 for an optional warranty that I did not ask for. She mentioned nothing about it AT ALL! I went back to the store and was advised by the front desk that I was supposed to "opt-in" for the warranty, and it should not be added without the customers consent. I also found out that the sale of these warranties generate a commission for the salesperson. So she charged me for a service that I did NOT ask for to get a bonus payment for herself!? ISSUE #2: Delivery My furniture was scheduled for delivery from 3pm-7pm on a Tuesday. They ask that you make yourself available for the entire day just in case... which I did. 8pm rolls around and I still receive no call and my furniture is nowhere to be found. I missed work and class and still had no furniture! I could not wait another 2 hours until 10pm, so I called them and they rescheduled my delivery to Thursday with a new window of 10am-2pm. Fast forward to 11am on delivery day (Thursday)...given my prior delivery experience, I did not trust their system so I decided to call and confirm my delivery time frame. I was bounced around from person to person and finally got ahold of someone at the store who told me that my order was refused and cancelled! HUH!!?? By whom?? I have no furniture and they are now trying to schedule next-day delivery for Friday! At this point I have been DECEIVED into purchasing a plan I did not request, I will be missing THREE days of work, I am STILL without my furniture! My 1st and last time purchasing from Ashley Furniture not due to the furniture it self due to the lack of customer service...Had a delivery I'm choosing to not give detail of the delivery guys however, I will not overlook the lack of professionalism of the leaving the oversized furniture boxes in the front of my home I did not notice it until pulling out my garage 30 min later... Only writing this review because the store manager has failed to contact me in regards to my delivery. I've left him multiple messages and gotten no response. I ordered a sofa couch with chair and table set. When my order arrived the tables weren't able to be put together because the packaging ddnt include screws. The worker then had to come back later in the evening to finish putting the tables together which was very inconvenient to me. The experience in store was great! The delivery part was the worst experience I've ever had. My delivery was #10 and I tracked it. The system stated they were on delivery #9. I get a call from the driver stating they are on delivery #7 and it would be midnight before I could get my furniture when I had a window from 2:30pm-6:30pm. I had a great experience. My sales rep was super friendly and very helpful, walking me around the store helping me find exactly what I needed (dresser, nightstands, console table) and wasn't pushy at all. My experience with their customer care department has been poor. The store visits went well. The sales personnel was very attentive. However, after receiving my table, I was very unhappy with the condition underneath the table. I've spent hours trying to remove all of the staples. After calling, sending pictures, and having been told that it would be replace with a new one, I have tried to follow up with no success. First Amber in sales starts an argument w the gentleman writing up our order saying we were working w her Lol when all she did was tell us Hello as we entered the store. Redelivered another damaged dresser over 2 weeks later and left wrapping on drawers and left! I had the worst shopping experience at this store. Specifically told the sales person the timeframe I want the item for. He gave all assurances that the items I wanted to purchase were available and would be delivered as requested. That is only reason I went ahead with the purchase. I waited two weeks for the items to be delivered then they 'forgot' to include one of the pieces so the item never got set up. I tried calling customer service but was told I have to make contact with the store to track down the missing item. This store never answers their phone. I believe the store salesperson lied in order to get the sale. Promising the item could be delivered but knowing they didn't have it in stock. Anyway I am still waiting four weeks now on my missing item to be delivered. Customer service is still no help. I purchased a desk in September 2018, waited over a month before I could pick it up from the warehouse, only to find out that the package contained 2 of the same desk legs!!! I called the lithonia store, they advised me to contact the warehouse (which I did)! The warehouse supposedly ordered me a new replacement leg. However, when I called back a week later, to check on the status of the order, there was no history of the order! At which time I re-ordered the part (Oct. 31) As of today (Nov 9th) I still don't have a leg for desk which I purchased in September! Their overall customer service was HORRIBLE and they have NOT address my issue. I'm so over this store. First of all, all furniture that I have purchased from Ashley is always defective in some way or another. If you want quality, don't go there! I have a house full of furniture in a single person home and it's all no good after 3 - 5 years. Leather things peel, legs on tables break, recliner module will no longer work on three chairs that I purchased for over 700$ each. I've made my last purchase here! They have phone service for now reason, because they never answer and this is just not during this COVID pandemic, it's always been this way. One star is too high for this garbage store that lies about their products, doesn't answer their phone and ships defective furniture. We were told by the delivery people our table we received was defective and they would send a technician too install the proper part. No technician showed, the store won't pick up the phone and the 800 "customer solutions" line makes promises they don't fulfill. We have talked to someone on four occasions in a three day span after an average hold time wait of 20+ minutes to be told they have no record of our previous calls. I stated to the salesman that I did NOT want it because last time I bought it, they made me take pics of the damage, fill out a form, attach the pictures, send it via mail (no email or fax) wait weeks only to deny my claim for some stupid reason. They say that it covers everything but apparently not. I told him this whole story and still he charged me for it. He also sold me on my living room set even though it wouldn't be in stock for a week. I got the whole set a month later. We gsve them every opportunity to make it right but now we are stuck with these chairs that are junk. They basically told me too bad, you made the purchase. The picking out of the furniture was excellent. The process was smooth and the employees at the store were all very kind. When they delivered the furniture part of my sectional was missing. I have been calling for two days and nobody can tell me where the rest of my sectional is! Everyone keeps telling me they will call me back when they get to the bottom of it. The issue isn't that we didn't receive everything at once, I understand things happen and often are on backorder. The issue is that they don't even have it in their system that I'm missing half of my sectional and the most frustrating part is that nobody can tell me where it is or when it is coming!!!! If you need your furniture all at once or even to receive it at all this may not be the place to purchase it from. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I bought a couch and was not home for the delivery and when I came home a few days later I noticed an issue with the stitching. I immediately called and set up a technician to come out and inspect it to see if it was repairable or if they needed to just send a new couch. 5 weeks later was their first availability and we were given a time frame of 12-2. Well no one showed up and after calling 5 different numbers I finally spoke with someone who told me they would be to us at 4:30 and they were having car trouble. No call or anything!! So we had to reschedule for another 3 weeks out. So I get a call at 10:15 saying they are 15 minutes out. After an hr I finally called the store for an eta which they could not provide and they couldn't even transfer me to some one who could. Three more transfers later all the corporate office and tell me is someone on the way. Like really .... this is a horrible company for customer service. They spend their money on the sales reps who bombard you at the door and then don't care at all once you buy their poor quality furniture. read more

Good prices but furniture quality is very poor. Furniture made in China with limited quality control. Stuffings are visible in new furniture. Seams are not straight & poorly constructed. Quality control before delivery is not there either. I returned the furniture a couple of times & they documented 'customer's perception' rather than defective furniture. So the returned furniture went to another family that has been waiting for a couple of months. Shipping is very disorganized. They would ship my pieces to other customers when a hold was put on my pieces while waiting for other pieces to come. Took a couple months to get my set. But got tired of waiting - I accepted furniture that was not well made. This particular store- they are friendly when selling. Friendly sales people and management staff. But won't help or return calls when I had problems in the 2 months while waiting for the set. Beautiful furniture! Poor quality. Won't shop at Ashley again. read more

I've never given one star before- but unfortunately it is warranted. The process of picking out our furniture was excellent. No issues, we made our selections (a sectional and a chair) and placed an order for delivery about a month out. We sold our current furniture and had it picked up Saturday to prepare for our furniture from Ashley to be delivered on Sunday. We blocked off our entire day because the time frame they give you is 11-4, and when they call they're literally 10 minutes away. First thing off the truck is our sectional, and the chaise is on the wrong side. We are disappointed, but it seems there was a miscommunication between our sales rep and us regarding what the "left" side of the couch is. I wish this would've been communicated better in the store, but we are understanding of this. Then, instead of a grey chair, a brown chair is unloaded off the truck. We check the invoice, it clearly says grey, so there was an issue with the warehouse. Again, accidents happen. But, when we called customer service (which we had to do several times, if there is an error why are they not calling us?) they were terrible and gave us the run around on when our new furniture would be coming in, and I ended up taking off work for it to be delivered a week later. I would think if there was an error on the company's part they would be more accommodating of the customer's schedule, but no. We use our lawn chairs in the living room for a week. The delivery comes yet again, and yet again, we get a different color of chair. This time, it's red instead of grey. Luckily the couch is correct, so we have a place to sit in our living room. Upon visiting the store in person after the run around (yet again) calling in to customer service, we're offered a 15% off discount off of the chair and a vague answer on when we could actually expect to get the chair (no word on if it would be the right color?). And again, we'd likely have to burn another day sitting at home waiting because they can't give a smaller time frame for delivery. Chair cancelled, I'll take my $$ elsewhere. Long story short: Selection process- fine. Delivery process- awful, and worst customer service experience I've ever had. Not worth your stress. read more

Unfortunately I have to give them one star for their poor delivery service options. Although Shanu was a good sales person and Manager Michael Mitchell REALLY tried to make things right. It was a little too late. The aggravation had already settled. My fiance and I purchased a nine thousand mattress with mattress adjuster. The delivery was made for Friday 5/18/18. We informed them we needed a late delivery(after 3 pm) because of work schedules. Three days before delivery they called my fiance to tell him the time frame was set for 10:45 AM-2:45 PM. He informed them that would not work for us,but the person was rude and told him that if he could not do this time frame he would just have to reschedule. The next day we went to store to speak with a manager or someone about the rudeness and the set delivery time.Long story short (lol) email was sent out to try and get the appropriate time frame we needed. Well the next day we was told that Ashley Furniture would get a third party delivery company to delivery our bed when we wanted. The company calls my fiance and tells him the new time schedule is 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. REALLY WHERE IS THE COMMUNICATION !!!!! They also told him if he could not do this time we would have to reschedule. REALLY So YEAH we rescheduled for NEVERUARY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went back to the store and CANCELLED the order. I called the store immediately to informed them of the mistake, they informed me I can come in the store and spend more money or keep what I have. Return is not an option once I signed for delivery. I called their customer service for assistant only to be transferred repeatedly. I was on the phone with customer service for an hour and half and nothing was resolve. I have recently moved to the area, in the midst of selecting and closing on our first house (very exciting!!) and I was looking for some good furniture. I honestly had been to a few other stores and was disappointed. I couldn't find anything I liked. When I walked in to Ashley's I was greeted immediately and was kindly asked what we were looking for. He then showed us a few items with some detail on the items and left us to explore the store. The store was a large enough space to see several options and our helper checked in from time to time. He had to leave halfway through but directed us to another agent who again was helpful. We decided on a bedroom set that was awesome ( it's part of the millennium collection which I recommend you check out) and a living room set. We also fell in love with there recliners and decided on a nice two seater. The other bonus was that it was a president's day sale and we got a discount of 25% which was awesome. They offer a 5 year protection plan in case the furniture gets damaged. They will bring a service person to your home and attempt to fix it. If you are still unsatisfied, they will replace the item. The delivery service was also a nice feature. I am a very experiential person and I have to sit and observe how it will feel like at home. I was very impressed with the quality of the furniture and I am excited to see them in our home!! read more

I recently bought a bedroom set and a dining room set from this store. Justin (my salesman) was awesome! He was very thorough, and answered all of my questions without being the typical "pushy salesman". I recently went back to look for a couch, and asked for Justin, but was told he no longer worked there. Had to deduct a star, based simply on that fact. I heard he now works at Underpriced Furniture (off of Jimmy Carter and I-85) , so I will be taking my business there now! read more
