If I could give this company negative stars I would. We bought a $2,500.00 piece of furniture from this store almost two months ago and it's been the worst experience we have had with any furniture store. When we received our order it was delivered incomplete and damaged. The customer service personnel was rude and somehow bothered by my request of returning the furniture. After waiting two weeks for my furniture to be delivered again it was once again delivered with stains and scratches. This experience has been extremely frustrating and I feel it will never be resolved. Today Ashley furniture attempted to deliver my couch for the third time. There is no way that it was inspected or properly wrapped before delivery as I was promised by the Warehouse manager and two store managers. If that was not bad enough they dropped one of the pieces in my driveway as they were unloading the truck. I still don't know how this company is still in business. read more

Absolutely garbage! We were impressed with the display items we purchased, but now we are on month two of waiting for our items to be delivered! We have been given 4 different delivery dates and each time one is given a different piece of furniture will be missing???? Every time we call the customer service people act like it's not their problem and that if you don't like it, it's just too bad. I've even asked to speak with a manager and got no where. When the alleged delivery dates do come up, we are supposed to receive a confirmation call 24 to 48 hours before the day to schedule a time window. Every time that has happened, I haven't received that confirmation call and when I call customer service when I'm 24 hours away all they tell me is to wait on the call.... make no sense and they give zero effort to rectify. Just tell you to call back???? So here we are... two months and waiting on our furniture delivery. No clue on when we will receive it and strongly considering cancelling our order. Update: We had a new delivery date scheduled for today. Although we received a delivery confirmation text this morning, the delivery did not arrive today as scheduled. We received no call or message to inform us that it would not arrive. When we contacted Ashley HomeStore via Facebook and phone, we were told that the only tracking information available to them said that the delivery would arrive today. No one could contact the delivery team to determine where they were in their route or confirm whether the sofa piece was even on the truck. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau last week. The person from the company's Escalations department who replied to the Complaint promised to ensure that the delivery arrived today and left her phone number. However, when I called that phone number today, I reached an automated voice mailbox. The representative whom I spoke with via Facebook chat told me that the woman who replied to my BBB complaint does not work weekends. Our experience today suggests that nothing has actually changed. Ashley representatives apologize, blame the manufacturer, and schedule another delivery date. But again, no furniture arrived, with no communication. read more

Had a terrible experience with this location. Buying the furniture wasn't an issue, but everything went left after the delivery. I purchased the Sorinella bed and it was delivered on 9/21. The techs attempted to put it together and alerted me that there were no screws. So unable to assemble the bed, they left. It took over a month and multiple phone calls just to get the screws mailed to me. They finally arrive and a tech is able to come back out on 11/16 to assemble the bed. Imagine my surprise when the tech tells me the screws they sent aren't the right size AND the slats are cut too long for the bed frame. So he wouldn't be able to assemble it properly. I go into the store the same day for a refund and to have someone to come out and pick up the bed. Makes no sense for have a bed I can't use just sitting in a room. The manager Stacey was kind and understood my frustration and let me know I'd receive a call within 3 hours that day for someone to schedule a pick up. I've heard nothing. Will be calling back again, but Ashley ought to be ashamed that this is the quality that they're giving to customers. Especially when they claim to be the #1 furniture and mattress store in America. I've left a google review and don't want yelpers to miss this. Beware when shopping here. I specifically went looking for in stock furniture and was shown several pieces. I need them quickly for people coming in town. The morning of the delivery which was just a few days after the purchase I was called and told the items didn't arrive for delivery. Keep in mind this was in stock when I purchased. This was not going to work and we were ok with that, just needed to cancel so we could go somewhere else. Then my wife gets to meet Jim THE MANAGER. Because we paid cash we could not get a refund there. They have to mail us a check. My wife waited for JIM for several minutes to come and approve the cancellation. JIM NEVER CAME. My wife walked the store and found JIM while he was doing a store walk. She told him they needed him and he said "MAM I WAS COMING WHEN I FINISHED". They then said there is no receipts for a cancellation or anything stating this. JIM finally wrote on another reprinted sales receipt that we would receive a check in 14 -21 days. Yesterday in the 21st day I decided to reach out to customer service. We will now be receiving our refund in 7-10 more days, because JIm never sent the cancellation to accounting for the refund to be processed. If I could give a ZERO rating, my husband and I would! We will NEVER purchase another item from this store or company! We purchased our leather recliner sectional last year and finally had it delivered (albeit in separate parts) mid January and the end of January. Don't even get me started on the issues with delivery! I won't go there. The issue now is we had this sofa less than three weeks when the motorized component broke in the recline position! We immediately called the warranty number during which my husband was ghosted (hung up on mid conversation) twice after being on hold for at least 45 minutes to an hour! We finally get someone on the phone who says it will be 7-14 business days before they can even process parts for delivery and then even longer for a technician. We then never heard back so after 10 days of waiting we went to the store and spoke with them! They supposedly expedited a ticket and we were supposed to hear back that week. They said no one even noted in the account they were sending parts! They even asked me to send a picture to an email address to prove it was broken, which I did that evening! No returned call, no nothing for a week. My husband went back to the store again a few days ago and was told a technician would be here today to fix the sofa! In the meantime, parts came to the house this week we weren't even aware were being sent. The store actually told us "how can they send parts when they don't know what's wrong with the sofa". Well, we got parts and NO ONE CAME TODAY! No call no nothing!! We called back customer service this evening to finally try and exchange the sofa (which is offered in the warranty). With the amount of issues we have been having we don't even want a sofa with motorized parts any longer because even if it gets fixed, what if it breaks again? We explained this to a supervisor who "could not give us his last name" and were offered an exchange on the part that was broken ONLY- a third of the whole sectional! It is a motorized reclining sectional that all goes together! We are beyond frustrated! We ended the call frustrated being told he will process the technician ticket which was supposedly not done all this time and someone will get back to us this week. Well, we have been dealing with a broken sofa for 3 weeks now and have never heard from this company during the many times we were supposed to be contacted about this issue! The furniture was delivered on May 10. My loan was with Tower Loan. I didn't received any paperwork or phone calls on how to pay the loan. So on June 6th, I went to the store and asked the manager. He gave me Tower Loan phone number and he said I wouldn't have to worry about it until June 10th. On June 8th, I called Tower Loan. They said I was supposed to make my first payment on May 26th so I incurred the late fee. They said they called on at 504 380 4710 and no one answered. That is not my number. They said they sent me paperwork but I saw nothing. They wouldn't reverse the late fee. The only way I can send the payment is through mail, go ot their office or pay online which they charge me if I pay online. I paid my loan off completely with the exception of $10 late fee. Now I have to go chase Ashley Furniture managers to get $10 to pay Tower Loan and to see why the sales rep gave them the wrong number. This whole experience is frustrating. If I don't get the $10 resolved, I will cancel the order that was pending. I dont get the rest of the furniture until Aug and I'm so mad I don't even care about those delivery anymore. Do not order any furniture from here . Placed an order for a couch and ottoman on October 18th. When purchased the date of delivery was to be 8-14 weeks. Then in November we received the ottoman but no couch . We called a customer service rep to follow up on the couch and she guaranteed an arrival date between December 8th-28th. Followed up today December 15th to figure out where our couch is and their customer service rep now tells us it's not going to arrive til April 10th. That's 6 months from the time of purchase without a couch . Thats completely unacceptable . As a whole I would avoid Ashley HomeStore to avoid the stress. Initially I had a pleasant in store experience and delivery, until I realized my dresser didn't come with the bed set delivery. When I asked the delivery guy, he said it was probably on back order, he wasn't aware that I had ordered a dresser (although he delivered the mirror), and I should call customer service to figure out the problem. It would have been nice to have been informed that was going to be late but the delivery guy was nice enough to give me customer services number to get things straightened out. This is where it went down hill. The delivery guy gave me the wrong number; inconvenient but an easy enough fix. I called the store and the call center 9 times, each time I was on hold for the shortest time of 15 minutes and the longes time 32 minutes. I ended up calling 9 times because 5 of those calls, after sitting on hold for 15-20 minutes, I was hung up on without anyone even saying hello. The first time I finally got someone on the phone, it was to ask about my dresser that I wasn't informed wouldn't be delivered with my other stuff. They said it was back ordered and would be delivered in two weeks. Inconvenient but sometimes one has to deal with such things. A couple days later I noticed that one of my nightstands was broken. When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me to email pictures and they would get back to me. Never heard anything back. So I called again, sat on hold for 32 minutes and when I finally got somebody on the line they told me that they had no record of my calling about the nightstand and to do the exact same thing I had already done. I was also informed, in that call, that my dresser, that was supposed to be delivered that day, was going to be delayed again. I also resent the email and was told I'd hear something within 24-48 hours. Haven't heard anything. Had I not happened to call for separate issues, on two separate occasions, I would not have been notified that my dresser was delayed until after the fact. (I got the automated texts and calls telling me that I would receive my delivery but obviously they weren't delivered). I have had to take off from work, reschedule multiple doctors appointments to accommodate delivery and they haven't shown or had the courtesy to call and let me know that they weren't going to show. Aside from the broken nightstand, what I do have is of good quality but I would never shop here again or recommend friends or family, if given the choice. **Update: The dresser was finally delivered (after 4 delays and no notifications of said delays) but without parts to attach the mirror. It also came 5 hours early, which as a working person didn't work with my schedule. I now have to have the parts ordered, call them the have them install the mirror and hope someone actually comes. The night stand exchange was delayed a month and I got a call less than 12 hours before it was supposed to be delivered to inform me. When I called Customer Service to complain and just return everything, they essentially gave me the runaround, told me that I need to call this office and that office. And when I finally got to the right office they essentially said we can't do anything about it, you have to keep everything, deal with it. Although I had a good in-store experience everything that came afterward was not worth the effort. The quality of the furniture doesn't speak for anything else the franchise has to offer. I'm not sure why there are only negative reviews for this store. Perhaps they're under new management now. I had a great experience with this store. I was greeted immediately, and after I told them the item I had in mind, our salesperson showed us several other similar items. She told us about all the specials and discounts they had going on at the time. Everything was reasonably priced. Our salesperson was very informative throughout the purchasing process and even sent us a thank-you note a few days later. She said that they're supposed to tell us 3-4 weeks for delivery (because the furniture is built after you order it) but that it could be sooner. Our furniture was then delivered 8 days later. It is true, however, that all sales are final (I'm guessing this is because they build the furniture specially for you after you order it). This is why you should measure your space at home and be totally sure about the furniture you're buying before going through with it. I asked about this before making the purchase, and she said that we cannot return it if we change our minds. But she said to thoroughly inspect the furniture when it arrives, because they will replace or repair it if there is anything wrong with it upon arrival. I purchased a sofa set, i have been given three different datrs for pickup, finally i got one piece and then given a date for the remainder which was yesterday July 6th. 1. Their furniture is of low quality. Of the sofas that I sat on, the cushions were uncomfortably stiff and cheap feeling like cardboard or too lax like sitting on a ball of fluff that made me sink in a very uncomfortable way with no support available like a bean bag chair. Ashley is a low quality store similar to "Walmart" in addition, they have a retail mark-up of 50% as far as I can see. 2. The entire store, except where the kitchen was, was empty of service people; there were at least 4-6 store clerks in the back left hand corner of the store- where the kitchen was. Why make their kitchen/lunchtime area out in the open like that? It is completely unprofessional to include your kitchen (and it WAS A KITCHEN!) on the floor of your business! 3. I was never asked if I needed help. I was there for 21/2 hours. As I was looking at the recliner section for at least 1 hour, some man exclaimed to me 'You look comfortable' and walked by me. I was surprised that he did not stop to try to help me or allow me to ask questions about the pricing. I believe it might be Ashley's policy to not talk to the customer and not allow them to ask questions; Maybe they are hiding something from the customers they dont want us to know, or maybe they are afraid they will be sued! 4. I was slowly walking in the middle of the store perusing the displays, and suddenly a swift woman with lightening speed took off rudely passed me by I felt that she almost would have run into my body had I been an inch or 2 to the left. I felt like she was very rude. It seemed like she wasn't looking where she was going and didnt care whether she ran into me or not. I saw that she was dressed up but that was all I could see. I can only guess that she worked there and was a rude saleswoman. I felt offended. I am partly glad that if she was the floor saleswoman that she indeed did NOT speak to me! My experience at this location was terrible and I love the company Ashleys as a whole. My particular sales associate started off nice and friendly but quickly escalated to aggressive and pushy. Once she found out that I had been preapproved she got pushy and extra aggressive and stop listening to my wants and needs and just did what she wanted to do. I went in the store because I had went online and wanted to see if they actually had the furniture in person. They only had one thing physically in the store that I saw online. So I told the sales associate I just would go back online and make sure the items were in stock rather than buy one item from the store physically and buy the rest online. It don't make sense to pay two delivery fees and sales tax twice when I can purchase everything together online. Shelia still insisted I said just let me check online and I would come back if need be. Shelia told me she had to talk to her manager to adjust the price to the online price I said don't worry about it because it don't make sense to purchase one item. She said well let me talk with manager so I'm waiting to tell her we are about to go. Low and behold to my surprise as I'm waiting she then already placed the order and charged my Ashley's account. I wouldn't have known if I just would have left but I sent my husband over to tell her we about to go. And she tells him wait you have to sign the papers he said what papers and she said I order the dinning room set. So I told her I wanted to cancel the order. We was waiting a while for the manager but I have a 4 year old and she was getting aggravated so we left without seeing the manager. But once I got home I called the customer service to cancel order and file a complaint. We rented a uHaul and picked it up directly from the back loading dock. Two of their men helped load it up. As they were loading it on one of the men started taping up the next box to add to the truck. To prepare for the arrival of the new furniture (as confirmed by Ashley), we got rid of all of our old furniture this weekend. Additionally, I took off of work today so I could be at home when the delivery arrived. I get a phone call THIS morning, the day of the delivery that has been scheduled for a month, and that Ashley confirmed just a few days ago, letting me know the furniture I ordered is out of stock. I've spoken with three different customer service representatives, and no one can tell me when the furniture I've already paid for will be back in stock or when it might be delivered. Literally, they can't tell me if it will be next week or two months from now. Now, we've got a house without furniture just in time for the holidays. I've learned my lesson. In 8/26/20 went into Ashley's furniture, besides being in the store for 20 mins 5:48 pm I walked in, I was informed that they will be closing in 30 mins... the store times on the door stated 7pm. Still looking I found the bedroom set I wanted. When checking out, I was informed that shipping would be 4 to 6 weeks, which was fine for me because of Covid. I paid the bedroom set out, cash! I have been calling for weeks to find out the status of my order, I stayed on hold for 4hours and 32 mins just for someone to answer the phone and hang up! I drove there the next day, my initial delivery date was 10/4 then 10/13 to 10/22 without my knowledge. If I would have never drove there, I would've never know. My husband and I live in Los Angeles, but are often in New Orleans. We recently purchased a home and decided to buy our furniture from Ashley's Furniture store. We did not have much time to shop but was able to purchased 2 full bedroom sets and mattress so we could sleep in our new home when we returned for Mardi Gras. I received text from Ashley's up until last night which is the day before the delivery dated. I asked a family member to take off work for the delivery, which was February 18, 2020. I received a text at 12:00 pm TODAY informing me that they needed to reschedule our delivery. Mind you all of the Hotels are booked for Mardi Gras, we are flying in tomorrow and have no furniture. I called the store and spoke to the Sales person who promised me a call back. He never called me back. I called again and explained the situation to the store manager. He listened to my complaints and told me how the store determine their delivery routes, but would call me right back. The store manager never called me back. In the meanwhile my husband and I are trying to figure out where we are going to stay. I then called customer service 800 number. I spoke to an nonchalant representative named Victor who told me the same story about their delivery routes. I asked to speak with a manager. He told me that he did not have one. He told me that I had reached corporate and that this was the highest level of management. Trust me, he was not a manager. Our goal was to return to Ashely and take our time to shop for the rest of our furniture since we would have more time. I will never ever shop there again. The Ashley's in Torrance, CA is completely different and much more professional. They just missed out on another big sale. This is not over. Poooooor customer service. Second piece of furniture to break within warranty time frame yet for some reason Ashley does not stand behind their products or offer any type of resolution. DO NOT BUY ASHLEY FURNITURE. It will break and they do not care to assist customers in any fashion. They sell extended warranties just to make money as the warranty does not actually do anything to repair or replace poorly made product offered at a high ticket price point. Instead, they want to charge additional fees to have someone "look" at the item. Still paying for a sofa I can't even sit on without falling through onto the floor. I was in town the weekend dropping my daughter off at school. While in town I wanted to purchase a dinning room set for my mom. I'd visited four other stores looking for something my mom would like. I passed by Ashley furniture and decided to stop in, and low and behold I found exactly what I was looking for. I paid in full and was told the furniture would be delivered on 08/20/2020. My mom called me at 6:30pm to tell me she never received her delivery. I never received an email or call informing me, the delivery would be late or if the delivery had been rescheduled. It was my first and worst experience ever! We bought a dinning table set back in November. We took first available date for delivery (13th of Jan). So, on 13th of Jan no one called or text. I called them up on the next day, and asked whats going on....???? Lady with no apology, almost showed me her attitude said, "You are been rescheduled for the 19th....if table not will be here, this date will be pushed back"... OK......So, they delivered on Jan 26th. Table was packed, but chairs wasn't. Chairs is material..‍‍‍ They left some finger stains on the side, while caring to the apparent. Table has some manufacture scratches. Delivery guys refuse to take it back. They told me to make a note on the paper they gave me, they took a picture of it.....and that all. I called back to delivery number, explained the situation. Gentleman on the phone, took all my notes, and said in 72 hours someone will call me about it. Guess what???? 6 days later...NO CALL...NO EMAIL....NOTHING! So, no more deal with this company.!!!! Very disappointed. Never got a problem like this with ROOMS TO GO. read more

I had a terrible experience with salesman ENRIQUE GONZALES. He originally lied to me and told me the first salesman who I was working with no longer works there (which he does). Enrique is very unprofessional and rude. He tries to rush you so that he can get the next sales. I spent 4 hours waiting to place a order because he was bouncing in between customers after I already knew which items I wanted. He lied to me and told me he placed my order and then when I to follow up all of my items were out of stock because he never put my order in this system. When I questioned why my order was not placed he walked away from me to try to assist another customer. Do not waste your time at this location. Invest your money where you're appreciated. read more

I have gone to Ashley twice in the last 3 years and not one person greets me or attempts to help me when I walk into the store. I had to go to the credit card help desk to have someone help me with a sales associate. When the lady called for help, Tim was unfortunately our sales associate to show us living room sets. The first thing out of his mouth was they are short staffed and he will be right back. That's a hell of a greeting. He ran off to deal with another sale and finally made time for us. He not only didn't HEAR anything I said I was looking for, he completely rushed us. He shows us ONE set that was nice, but wasn't what we asked for. I was specific; we wanted a cloth sectional set, with 4 recliners and at least one console. His response was, we don't want that because we are stuck for life with the furniture in the same spot. Way to be attentative to what the customer wants. He shows us a nice 2 piece set with only 3 recliners and of course no console since it wasn't a sectional. We asked him to get us a price for the set since he made it appear as though what we asked for didn't exist or perhaps just a bad salesman with no listening skills. He seemed reluctant to get the price for us but he did and he returned with the price and his card. We asked if there were going to be any upcoming sales and although there is one coming up, he failed to mention it to us. After he ran as fast as could away from us onto the next customers/sale, we were not finished looking around but he didn't seem to care. We came across a perfect set that was just what we wanted. When we tried to find Tim to get us a price, he was too busy with his new customers. We then found John and thank God for John, the best salesman I have ever encountered at Ashley. He was patient, didn't rush us, actually heard what we were looking for, and calmly gave us prices for the 2 additional sets we found. He informed us of a great sale coming up and thanks to John; we will be purchasing the set then. If I could I would give John 5 stars, but Tim and the overall friendliness/customer service of Ashley is less than 1 star. Get your stuff together, Ashley. read more

The Worst purchase experience I have ever had! I ordered a sofa and chaise lounge just before the pandemic. The night before delivery, they called to tell me only one piece would be delivered after I had donated my old furniture and wouldn't be there for at least 2 weeks. The sofa they did deliver was damaged, stained, ripped and torn. After pictures were sent they said a new sofa would be delivered with the chaise when it comes. A new sofa never came with the chaise and was told that I could not order another because it was discontinued and no discount could be given. I asked if I could order another model and was told NO!!! They then told me that someone could come to my home and repair the damage but it was the start and height of covid and I did not want anyone in my home. After over 50 phone calls and no one ever returning my calls for over 1 yr. holding on the phone for over 1 hr. every time I called. In April of 2021 I called to get the repair done after I received my covid shot, I was told my case was closed and repair was not possible. I called several more times with the same outcome met with rude and terrible attitude and customer service. At last resort, I called the store mgr. who reopened my case and put the repair through, thank God. Made an appt. for repair, called off work,... and no one came. I order a sofa and love seat early November. They said the sofa would be delivered end of November but the love seat wouldn't be until January and all of that was fine. They called on November 27th said your sofa is here and it would be delivered on December 2nd and someone would call to set up a time window 2 days before delivering. GREAT! The 2nd came and nothing so I called them they said it was being delivered on the 7th, still NOTHING! Get another phone call on Saturday the 4th saying it would be delivered on December 7th yet no phone call for the delivery window so I called today NOW it's supposedly coming on the 9th! Did they sell my sofa? It's been in the warehouse no one will give any explanation they just keep giving different days. SO BUYER BEWARE!! THEY DO NOT DELIVER EVEN AFTER THEY CALL YOU AND SAY THEY WILL. No one will tell you anything no matter how many different numbers they give you for corporate. I have tried 3 different numbers. I first gave them a 5 star rating but they get your money and your stuck. They charge you before they have the product. read more
