Do not buy from Ashley's furniture. Horrible customer service. Horrible phone system. Every time you call it says they're closed when when the store hours are open. You can leave a voicemail but no one will ever call you back. You can send an email but no response. Delivery calls days ahead are pointless when they right the wrong address and arrival times, but there is no way to correct it. They don't answer. I purchased a sectional in January and mentioned to the delivery guy that there was a defect in the pillows. However, I was ignored. Then I went into the store and saw that it was truly a defect with my pillows. There was false advertisement because the sofa had many pillow but on the date of delivery there were only 5 pillows. Then I went back in the store yesterday to do a different purchase. There was a price quote on the bed and I was quoted the exact same price by the salesman. However, when it was time to check out there was a price increase. The assistant manager Eric was not willing to honor the price on the bed and that I was quoted. Out right lied about the mattress lasting 40 plus years. Lied about when payments would commence. Didn't allow me 2 choose my own temper pedic mattress. This company has an assortment of mattress products like 1 that cools u off! I told ms griffin i wanted a firm and a medium was ordered and delivered. I had dishonesty problems with their Arlington store! My intention was 2 use my $400 store credit and get out of there as cheap as possible with a king mattress, not open an account and aquire 6k of new debt! 6k?! I still refuse 2 believe i received all the savings i was owed! I was made 2 purchase an over priced mattress protector that doesn't appear 2 b water proof or resistant. My 10 year limited warranty cost an additional 200 bucks. Im in this mess now cuz i bought 2 warranties 5 years ago that the company wouldn't make good on so it turned in 2 store credit! Ashley has an impressive store floor but my so called top grain letter $2000 chair and ottoman is only 100 percent leather in the places that touch your body. My chair cushion completely changed colors. That's never happened 2 any leather product I've owned. The ottoman has a broken leg. Warranty would not cover anything, smh! Im expecting no better with this warranty. So far, im enjoying the bed. Should b more features 4 the price. I could and prolly should have cancelled this order. I just didn't feel like fighting with these ppl! I needed new sleep gear and i had credit with them! We ordered a table and they never put it in with the base it was supposed to then becoming TOGETHER on may 30th now they are claiming the base is coming but not with the top now. We ordered a couch also is being delayed. Lady on the phone said they let you know THE DAY BEFORE. I love this store!!! It is beautifully arranged and not cluttered. I was looking for a mattress and Ashley Home Store had lots of choices. When I had questions there was a smiling face ready to help. The salesperson was knowledgeable and with their help I chose the Tempurpedic. It really is just like the commercials. You can walk on the mattress without spilling your drink. I used water instead of wine since it was my new mattress. Hahaha I have always wanted to try it. Anyway I chose this mattress because it has the best warranty and is very highly rated and boy am I glad I picked this mattress. It is like sleeping on a cloud. Best part of my visit is that they offer fresh baked sugar cookies (no limit). When making big purchases it can be stressful but this place made it easy. Fabulous Sales staff. Terrible delivery and phone support. Delivery 6 weeks late for a total of 10 weeks from the time of order. The delivery service is not flexible in delivery time. If you call Ashley expect a 30-minute wait. This is unacceptable as this is easily controllable during the Covid crisis. I wish I read other people's reviews before I went and purchased furniture from here. We ordered our furniture in August with the LATEST Date being October 24th for delivery. Needless to say not only have we not gotten our furniture but we haven't even heard from them or gotten an update! We have tried calling since before last week since originally we were told that there would be "no way" that it would take until October 24th. We really just wanted an update to plan our work schedules to be here for delivery but we can't get a hold of anyone... my husband waited on hold for over ONE HOUR for someone to answer and then just immediately hang up. I have never seen such horrible customer service and dysfunctional company. It's really sad since I love their furniture and would like to buy more to have a matching set but after this whole experience it's definitely not worth it. read more

I am so frustrated with this store. I have been trying to contact them all day to cancel my order and I cannot get anyone to call us back after leaving several voicemails, emails, and "call me back later" requests. We purchased items on 5/16/20 and were told we would have a delivery date of 6/18/20 or possibly sooner. The possibly sooner got us excited. I have probably texted our salesman 10 times asking if a delivery date had been set yet and each time I never got a response from him. I finally got tired of waiting and called the Corp office and they tell me that our delivery date is 7/17/20 and then asked if "I" would like to schedule for that day! Was the schedule never done!!! All we want to do is get our money back and move forward. Waiting 2 months for furniture that you paid cash for is crazy. read more

Never buying anything from Ashley's furniture again. I bought my 3 piece sofa last year in a November and I haven't had them for a year. I have had so many problems with these sofas. First the delivery, then the wooden legs at the bottom were so scratched, then one part of my sofa the frame was detaching, the stitching was falling apart from the sofa covers and the bottom lining from the sofa was also falling down already. A technician came out and fixed a few problems and pulled out the stitching from the sofa covers and told me he was going to order new ones. A few weeks went by and finally called for them only for them to tell me the technician never wrote on his report about him pulling out the stitching. So I will not be getting new sofa covers to replace the ones the technician pulled out. It is so annoying and frustrating when we pay so much money for what is supposed to be "great" quality material and a "great" company. I was told by a technician that he is so used to fixing these "small" problems the manufactures overlook. If this is an ongoing problem why hasn't anything been done? Super disappointed, if I wanted to I could totally argue and give them my time of day and return these horribly made items. Next purchase won't be at Ashley's. P.S. I really have mixed feelings about Ashley home store . I didn't like the salesman catching you right when you walk in the door. Reminds me of a used car dealership. Our salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable and really helped us a lot so I can't complain about him personally but the sales process is 1970 used car lot stuff. I feel like I got a pretty good deal on my leather furniture and the initial quality seems amazing. The call center/ phone people have no clue what is going on, I called them 3 times without resolution so I just called and asked for our salesman and he answered my question on the spot. So I am happy with my purchase but I am not sure I will go to Ashley for my next furniture purchase. read more

How can this place mess up SO bad, so many times? I'm almost being generous by giving this place one star. There was absolutely nothing to be satisfied with. We ordered about 2100$ of furniture here (a sofa, dining set, and coffee table) on 12/4/12 and was told we would be receiving our items within two weeks or less. Ashley's will notify us through email or a call within that delivery time frame (2 weeks). Two weeks pass, and we received absolutely no notification of any sort. So, we took matters into our own hands. We called Ashleys, and the lady tells us that we would not be getting our furniture until February....Whattt??!??!??!!! We were only quoted two weeks MAX. How does this escalade to 2+ months?? We asked the rep that not even 1 of the 3 orders we placed were going to be sent to us?? The rep tells us, "well, we can send the one that's in stock, which is the sofa. would you like that?" Uhh, yes ma'am... we would like that. It would have been nice if you guys could have at least delivered the sofa without us taking matters into our own hands. The sofa arrived in two days. However, we needed to get things straight for the rest of our order, so we walked into Ashley's after having received our sofa, asking what's going on. They tell us the dining set is out of stock. Umm.. soo... couldn't you guys have also just delivered the coffee table to us? "yeah, we can set that up for you," said the sales associate. So we get quoted the 2 weeks for our coffee table to be delivered. Two weeks pass, and our coffee table STILL isn't here. No notifications by email or phone, either. We gave them chances, too. -Strike one: not delivering our sofa on time when it was clearly in stock -Strike two: not delivering our coffee table when it was clearly in stock -Strike three: you're out! We're going to Ashley's tomorrow to demand our refund back. Waste of time buying furniture with these guys. read more

We were building a house and went to Ashley\'s to start a layway at our salesman\'s advice saying that they could work with us, as our home being build was based on a contingency of our current home selling. We started our layaway with $1000 deposit. A month later we had not sold our home and we had to cancel our contract with the builder. We contacted Ashley to let them know and update them and asked if we could get a refund and if not we could use the money towards a purchase in their store. They informed us of a 30% \"restocking\" fee that they charge for not fulfilling our layaway and I explained again what we told our salesman, come to find out, he had just started there the week we went in, great. I asked for a little mercy and told the representative that we would be more than happy to purchase something in their store and pay the difference after applying our $1000 deposit and also told them what we were told they would work with us if the contract fell thr ough and the answer was no, no, no. So this store would rather keep our $1000 as a fee then sell their consumers a piece of furniture with OUR money. They are at NO loss here. They don\'t hold or order any furniture until final payment is made, they are crooked and are thieves and we will never step foot in that store again to spend a dime. With our next home another store will have the advantage of a great paying customer who will spend about $10k on furniture. I have called around to the competitor stores and no other store has this policy and they all say that they would never do that to their customers. This is NOT good business and loss of yet ANOTHER customer because you can\'t give us our hard earned money back or some sort of store credit. Went here looking at furniture. The sales person said something and I told her I heard all their furniture is made overseas anyway. The sales person at this location said that their furniture is made in the US at one of their two facilities. I place an order at the location on north 35W as we went there to see if they had something else in stock. Were told by that location the furniture needs to be made as they are out of stock and it will be made at one of their two facilities then shipped. Took 1.5 months to arrive and I find a made in Vietnam stamp on it. Are you serious?? I hate being lied to. On top of that the coffee table and side table were delivered with some oily substance on the.. Not real pleased. Overall Ashley furniture is better quality than some, but I don't appreciate being lied to. read more

Hit a few bumps but they were all taken care of quickly and easily after talking to Ryan, one of the business managers. So far, so good.

Unreliable, inconsistent and damages too numerous to list. Sales gives one date the furniture should be available for delivery. Then delays are added. I waited 26 days from the purchase to the delivery day. Delivery gives one date they will call about delivery. Then they call on another date. Delivery gives one time they will arrive and they arrive a different time. When the furniture was delivered, I noted many, many chips, dents, stain rubs and a hole in the cabinet. I found out that it is the warehouse's policy to remove the furniture from the original boxes and then plastic wrap the pieces before putting them on the truck. Delivery claims they are inspecting the furniture, but this procedure adds to the handling and the damages. I could not tell if all the damages were made at the warehouse of if these items were returned by other customers because there were so many damages. I then waited 6 more days for Ashley to contract repairs to the furniture. When a repairman arrived, he was in such a big hurry; he fixed half of the damages and added some others. One hole in the cabinet could not be repaired and said he would order the wood piece. However, Ashley's said this piece could not be ordered and offered to replace the lower part of the china cabinet. (It is now 32 days from purchase until the decision to replace the cabinet.) I asked if the cabinet could be delivered in its original box as to reduce damages. They told me if it is delivered in the original box, the delivery people would not remove it from the box but just drop it off. This is a very stupid policy, because it is more work to remove it from the box and wrap it with plastic at the warehouse then unwrap it at the residence instead of removing it from the box at the residence. The unboxing, wrapping and unwrapping also adds to the handling and damages. I decided I didn't want Ashley to pick up or deliver any more furniture. If I ask for a refund, who knows how long I would wait. If they exchanged it, the damages and poor repairs would start all over again. I finally called a repair facility and paid for proper repairs myself. The china cabinet is now usable. I will never buy from Ashley's furniture again. read more

April was very helpful! I was greeted with a smile on her face. I really liked the fact that she was not pushy. She let me look around on my own and she answered every question that I asked. Yes I have to wait on my furniture but I have been looking for so long, so it is worth the wait. I love the fact that it's not just sitting in a warehouse somewhere. I like that it is being built for me. On top of having a great sales person, customer service was very polite and quick. Both April and customer service was thorough on going over my information and what I ordered. Through April, I was informed about there mattresses, which I did not know they sale. For the first time after moving to this area and shopping with Ashley's I had a negative experience. The sales associate was very good and worked with me to help me find the perfect items to match the updates for my home. The problem was with the fiance department. Throughout the past 3 years, I have shopped at this store, opened a credit account spent at least 10k with great credit history. This is my problem, when I went to check out and use my credit card with the expiration date of 2/21. I found my account was closed 5 days ago with no warning because my account had a $0 balance. This was a disappointing experience. I asked to speak to the manger whom, I dealt with her before but she was on vacation. The fiance department was very rude and they wanted me to open a new account. Well, I have good credit it would have been approved, however, the fact that I would have negative feedback on my credit report is what really bothered me. I am sorry that Ashley Store did not value me as a customer and at least make an attempt to find a positive solution. read more

I have purchased furniture here for years. I used acceptance now to finance. I always make it a point to clarify how much the transaction will be for with any phone authorization. The representative processed my payment for an amount higher than was authorized. I spoke with the manager and she stated she could not adjust the amount or reverse the amount therefore they illegally withdrew the amount from my bank. I have worked with processing payments and therefore I know that was a lie. Instead of going through a huge headache I will ignore their faults and take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I've had several shopping experiences with Ashley's Home Store, but only two major purchases, a living room sectional and a bedroom set. During my first purchase, there were a few bumps in the road along the way, but the end result was satisfactory. I had no issues during my second large purchase. I'm very satisfied with the quality and aesthetic appeal of the products, though I paid more than what I originally planned to. What I really want to sell here is the customer service and professionalism I experienced by working with Jessica Smith at the Citylake location. From the very beginning, Jessica demonstrated immense knowledge about store products, store policy and financing options. Jessica didn't utilize high pressure sales tactics. Instead, she provided quality service by providing all the information I needed to make an informed decision and genuinely made the shopping experience pleasurable. Each time I went into the store to mull things over, take measurements or ask questions, Jessica was patient, kind and honest. Ashley's Home Store has some great merchandise for pretty decent prices. If you don't fall in love with what you see, then I encourage you to continue shopping around. However, if you see something you love and have reservations, I encourage you to ask for Jessica. I previously wrote a review on a purchase regarding the store off I-35 N out of Fort Worth. I can't find it to revise it. The store workers didn't follow me around, until I mentioned the word "mattress'. Then it was push, push, push. I didn't buy the mattress after reading other reviews. On 3OCT2013, I did however, buy a matching sofa & love seat, and a coffee table. Originally, I was told I'd have it within 48 hours. After purchase, it changed to "They only deliver in my area on Thursdays" which turned into the first deliver being 17OCT2013. The coffee table couldn't be delivered with the rest of the furniture, because it was damaged on inspection before leaving the warehouse, and had to be reordered. I appreciate that. It saved me having to send it back. It would have to be rescheduled another Thursday, which means you take off work again. The sofa was fine. The love seat had a hole where the material was cut too short. I took pictures & emailed it to them the same day as delivery, and then called. The manager told the customer service rep to tell me, they'd "Send a repairman" to fix my NEW love seat, and that he only does this area on Wednesdays, which means another day off work. After another letter directly to the manager, stating how unethical this all was, he approved me for a NEW love seat to replace the damaged one. They also agreed to deliver it the same day as the coffee table, so I wouldn't need to take off work, but once. I appreciated it very much. They made good on it, and delivered the coffee table & sofa without further incident. Would I buy there again? It depends on the product. A coffee table or end table, with knowledge that it'll be delivered in two weeks on a specific date to be determined later, and that they'll call two days before delivery to schedule it. Also note, there is a $40 redelivery fee, if you can't be there with this short notice. I doubt I will ever buy anything else with cushions or a mattress there. But all in all, they did make good on replacing the damaged product. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE! (HULEN) I purchased a complete living room set with couch, love seat, chairs, 4 tables, and a lounge chair. Several thousand dollars worth of furniture. One would think a company would want customer stisfation ,,,, but not this store. When my furniture arrived one of the main pillows on the back of the couch had a very obvious blemish that had to of been a factory mistake. I contacted the salesperson that sold me the furniture and she gave me a couple of remidies to fix it as if it were a food stain. I explained to her that it would not come out and I wanted to have one of 3 things done. 1. repair it 2. replace it 3. return it I was informed by her and had it confirmed by her manager that none of the above was possible. I loaded up the pillow and drove to the store, I live in Weatherford, Tx. I asked for the manager and tried to explain to her that all I wanted was a cushion without the stain. Fix it, replace it or come take back the furniture. She was one of the poorest management people I have ever tried to deal with. Constantly interupted me and would not let me finish what I had to say. Finally I asked her to please stop interrupting me. At that point she just rolled her eyes and pinched her lips and clared at me. I was shocked at the lack of people skills the lady presented. Finall her last statement to me was there was nothing she could do. The good thing is she stated is that it is two sided so you can hide it.!!!!! Currently, this will reside at a 2. The salesperson was very nice, however, I have worked in sales, I know a bit when I see one, but that doesn't matter, as he did his job, and got the things we needed ordered. Additionaly, he followed up, and made sure that everything on his end was taken care of. However, when the items arrived, I went to pick them up, and for the most part that went well, though for the majority of the time I sat at the dock, only one person was loading, despite other workers being present. Once I got home, the headboard I purchased has some overly large gaps, but I am willing to overlook those. There is a minor scratch on the footboard, but again, ehh, it's going to get worn down over time, so I will allow it. Now when we get to the dresser, that's where the problems arise. It appears as though it was shoved off the back of a truck, and then given to me anyways. It has a number of cracks, breaks, and pieces completely smashed. I call customer service to get it handled, and get told that because I picked it up, I will have to load it back up, drive it back to the warehouse, and they will trade it out once they get another one in. It is my experience that if it is your fault that an extreme amount of damage was done, in order to make it right, you would send someone out to fix the problem, aka deliver the new one and take the old one. I asked to speak to a manager, but being that it was Sunday, was told they would have to call me back on Monday (today). I did not receive a call back, I placed another call to Customer Service, and was told that the manager was gone to lunch, but they authorized half of the delivery cost to be paid. I'm still waiting on a call back from said manager. read more

Went to this store to buy a new sectional. Was happy with the one we purchased, but we had to wait 10 days to have it delivered, only to find out that it was not what we had ordered. Our salesman (THE ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER) put our order in the computer incorrectly. The delivery men were rude and unprofessional when I told them I would not be accepting the furniture. They rolled their eyes at me, got exasperated, and asked ME to call to get the problem fixed while they sat in their truck. The manager of the store was hardly apologetic, and we are waiting another 2 weeks to get the correct items.
