Horrible experience. Do not go to this place. My girlfriend asked specifically for one that was in the showroom and asked for "medium firm to soft". When we got the mattress delivered, this bed was not at all anything we have asked for and was the firmest, cheapest, very springy bed I have ever laid on. When we confronted the owner, he was not helpful at all and didn't acknowledge the mistake on their behalf and said "because you said medium FIRM we decided to give you a firm mattress". Doesn't deserve any stars at all, but a review needed to be left. I ordered a medium firm / soft mattress and was delivered a hard mattress that literally feels like a brick. When I spoke to the owner about being unhappy with my $500+ Matthew suggested that I could exchange my mattress after I pay a $80 exchange fee, along with a $50 delivery. In addition to this, he also I could not pick a mattress that is lesser value, and that I must be greater value. Please do not shop here, the owner, and store are a joke. I purchased a mattress and was told at that time that I had 30 days to return it if it didn't work for me. The mattress ended up being cheaply made and constructed. When I put it into the frame, it wouldn't fit. When I tried to return it, the store refused to refund it saying that they can say what they want when I bought it but the no return policy is in the fine print on the receipt which is an outrageous sales tactic. Do NOT shop here. If I could give this place zero stars I would. First of all, I did not get what I asked for. I asked for a medium firm set. What I recieved was a hard mattress. When I told the owner, he basically said because I asked for a " medium firm" that the lady just assumed I wanted firm and gave me a firm set. This set is so hard. I was told I got an upgrade, this is definitely no upgrade. The owner would not help me fix the situation but put it on me that it was my fault. If I wanted to exchange I would need to pay $80 exchange fee and $50 delivery fee. He made us leave the shop because he had to go somewhere. Who does business like this!! How is this even fair. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!! When I came into the shop to purchase my couch, mattresses and bed it was a smooth experience and I felt secure in my purchase. When the installation was offered for $100, I paid that amount via zelle on the moving day before installers arrived. When the 2 movers arrived, they came into my house without masks on, when having masks on should be your default when entering someone's house. Then the couch I ordered was changed same day to an "upgrade" Keith says without a choice on the matter. Then after the installers were finished, I had to point out that they forgot my sons mattress and they stated they'll bring it the next day which was not a huge inconvenience. Shortly after they left, I was observing the bed they stated didn't need a box spring but looked a little skeptical on stability. Not even 10 minutes after they left I sat down on the bed to test it out and the frame broke in four places. Seems like a box spring was needed after all. I took pictures and sent it to Keith Denton and he explained that a box spring was not needed but just tightening of the bolts. I wasn't happy with that solution because the frame is clearly unstable. On the way out of the house I noticed that the movers lacked the decency to take the boxes the bed came in with them or to the dumpster, that was tacky and horrible service. I also told Keith about that and he said they must have forgot. With the missing mattress, poor installation and trash left on my porch, I would think a complimentary box spring or discount on my installation fee would be fair. The next day Keith didn't apologize for any of the inconvenience or try to make me whole in my purchase. He defended that the couch they provided me was better than what I wanted. He stated if I wanted them to have masks on I should've spoke up. He stated that no they will not provide a box spring to make me feel secure with my bed. He did not compromise on any level of my complaint. I stated that he should lower his tone, I'm the customer and he's unprofessional and that is why black businesses get the stereotype they get because they give piss poor service in some instances and he said well I don't like dealing with black women anyway and hung up on me. This was by far unnecessary and below bare minimum service, there will be a complaint to the BBB as well, hopefully they'll learn it's a better way to control your emotions and tactics when dealing with customers, especially when the mistake doesn't fall on me. read more

All the stores in frisco were way higher priced, unwilling to work with me, and not great when it came to customer service. Mattress One is AWESOME!!! I'm a college student who just moved to the area and needed a bed as cheap as I could possibly find one, but we also wanted to make sure it was a good quality bed and wouldn't give me any back trouble. We were going to buy one at Costco or Sam's, but they weren't any where NEAR the quality of Mattresses they sell at Mattress One. We were prepared to spend about $450 at those warehouse stores, but then we found Mattress One and I got a very nice, Full size pillow top mattress with some memory foam WITH box spring for $375, with tax it wound up being like $405. It is such a nice bed! Now let me just talk about the staff! The guys there are fantastic! We walked in and someone asked if we needed any help and was able to answer our questions, but didn't pester us about purchasing anything, just let us browse and told us to let him know if we needed anything. Then Keith came out and he was also tremendously helpful! And once again he wasn't pushy or trying to upsale us. Usually I hate going into places like this where the salesmen are just all up in your grill trying to get you to buy more than you need, just to get more money out of you. But not these guys! They are FABULOUS! I just can't say enough good things about them! When we were unloading the bed and box spring we noticed that the box spring was dented, so we called and Keith told us to come right back and that they would take care of it. So we brought it back and got a new one no problem! I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to go back there if I ever needed another mattress! They are so friendly and helpful, and you just can't beat their prices! My uncle found a mattress he had just bought his stepson for $800 at another mattress place, and he found it at Mattress One for $375. I called Mattress One and got a price for a full mattress for my son's new frame (a mattress the salesman confirmed they have in stock) and proceeded to drive all the way out to Irving (from Plano) to pick it up. Bait and switch: "I'm sorry, we don't have any more of those in stock," (they did less than an hour before, mind you), "but we have plenty of these for $___ more." I've had my mattress for almost six months now and let me first start by saying it's absolutely thee worst mattress I've ever purchase. When I first went to buy the mattress the sales man was really nice and reassured me that if I didn't like it I could trade it out for a different mattress with no problem. But once the mattress was paid for and I got it home all thay changed. I was told that under any circumstances could I trade it in. I ordered a mattress over the phone by contacting the Memorial Houston store. My only requirement was that it needed to be delivered in 8 days. The store manager confirmed the inventory and established that it would arrive then. I paid at that time. I called the day before to confirm delivery and everything was again confirmed. Late the next day, I called them because nobody had called yet on the delivery. The area manager informed me that the mattress was not in inventory and would not be available for 3 days longer. I called back, cancelled the order and called Relax The Back in Houston who bent over backwards to confirm next day delivery. Sadly, I had to call back into Mattress One's customer service department the next day to process the refund as they were closed (not surprised). This was almost a $4000 order that was redirected away. Too bad.... the store manager seemed like a nice guy. read more

Too good to be true. Set up delivery for Monday. We were told between 6-8 pm. At 130 the guy calls from the neighborhood looking for the house. Perfect for us because I was home with a sick child and her bed had literally been delivered an hour prior. Guy brings in the mattress and box spring. I hear a bang and go in to see the box spring hanging over the new bed and is obviously too big. The guy tells me he is positive it is a full and obviously the guys who put the bed together did it either wrong or I did not get the right bed. He left the box mattress lying over the bed, rushes me to sign the paper "just saying he delivered the right mattress", give him $45, and as he leaves I call the bed store.2 minutes later while on the phone he knocks on the door and advises me that the box spring was in fact wrong and the right one would be delivered and they would switch it out, but the mattress was definately correct. At 530 pm I still had not received the correct delivery. I call and am told it is on its way. 830 pm I am called and told it will be by 10pm. 1020pm I call the number back and am told it will be an hour. At 1120pm the guy (a different guy very nice) shows up and removed the box spring the guy had left (in the same spot he left it) and I see the footboard had been chipped from the box spring. Explain to the guy I left it exactly how the original guy had. He takes pics then goes to put down the mattress and TOO BIG! It's 1130pm, I paid $45 , and am left with a box spring. He tells me he will call me the next day . 2pm the next day still waiting for a call so my husband calls Keith. He informs him that we have no mattress and the issue with the bed. Keith tells him I signed the paperwork that said delivery was OK and how did he know I didn't cause the damage. Fair enough , however , he could have asked the driver how he left the box spring and had he been an honest person he should have told him how it was too big and he did leave it sitting on the bed so how was I to see the damage. Anyways, my husband is told we would get a delivery between 530-630. I call back and tell Keith we have a game and he sends the driver. The mattress is delivered at 5pm. Never once did Keith apologize for the wrong delivery , the midnight delivery, or for not following up as an owner when he is made aware of the error ! I would think he would have at least refunded the $45 delivery charge. The only reason they are getting 1 star is for the driver who did the midnight drive and the next day delivery (same guy). read more

Ryan said we had a 7 day trial period to try out the mattress.. and I could not sleep at all,, terrible time to try sleeping.. so I called them to exchange it and Keith (owner) said that he would not exchange the mattress due to it being a special order.. this is the first time that we had heard it was a special order.. so they are slick.. He asked us if we read the policy when we signed the delivery and explained how it takes several days to get used to a mattress (of course trying a mattress for several days would put it pass the 7 day trial period) and on and on that he sounded like he had said this to other customers before..He was not willing to work with us all all.. so now I had my 6th night of no sleep and just looking forward to more sleepless nights..
