As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Kenny and pretty much left to browse in peace until I was ready to ask questions on the item I was interested in and when I was ready Kenny made sure I had his full attention and answered my many questions and concerns. Ashley furniture literally is thee worst place to get funrtinue from. Our bed was damaged and luckily after going into the store we found a bed which was to be delivered. The sales person Alexis Lopez at this store promised us that the drivers would deliver and take the old bed and box springs. When they arrived they had no orders to do so. The warehouse rep was able to get in touch with the warranty company and they said due to covid (which how furniture would spread covid is beyond me) that they cannot pick up the bed or we should donate it. Who wants a broke bed?! What's the point of a warranty?! Literally no help whatsoever and now we have to figure out how and where to get rid of a huge king sized bed. I wish I had heeded all of the negative reviews and the ones that said RUN RUN RUN away from buying anything from Ashley HomeStore. I had a terrible experience with Ashley and will never buy anything there again. I purchased a large sectional and tufted ottoman. I paid extra for the "white glove" delivery service. The delivery guys arrived very late on a Friday afternoon and dragged my new sectional across my hardwood floor. They could not have ripped the packaging off any faster and had box cutters flying had papers and packing material scattered everywhere. They didn't acknowledge my verbal concerns about the pace and method of unpacking. I pointed out that the upholstery on the back of the sectional was all bunched up from being dragged and they just kept saying "Sign here to acknowledge the delivery so that Ashley will call you within 45 minutes to make sure everything was fine. They will make an appt. to send someone out next week but you have to sign the ipad." It was late on Friday and I was tired of battling with them so I signed. They whisked out the door and when I finished cleaning up after them I discovered they had put a large gash in my custom, hardwood floor. I took pictures of all of the wood pieces next to the divot as well as the surrounding pristine floor. Needless to say there was no call from Ashley on delivery day or after. In the end - I spent HOURS on the phone, on hold, being transferred etc. and on-line trying to get my couch fixed and for them to pay to have my floorboard replaced. I had paid over $150. for this "white glove service" and wanted to discuss a refund or adjustment on that as well. Ashley took zero responsibility for the delivery damage. I was "on my own" to pursue that. I finally sent a registered letter both to Ashley and the "white glove" delivery company and received a letter back from the delivery co. telling me that "I talked to the driver and they said you are wrong. They didn't do it". They totally ignored my photos and called me a liar. I never heard back from Ashley. After weeks of effort on my part, Ashley sent out a tech to fix the couch. I paid my floor guy to have the board removed and replaced. I opened up the pillows on the couch and they are full of brown, hairlike synthetic material which keeps sticking out of the zippers and looks disgusting. The furniture is cheap. I have since bought several rooms of furniture from Haverty's and the entire experience was fantastic. They actually have THEIR OWN delivery people that are all on the same page and were real pros. I went to Ashley because I attended a presentation on changes in today's business landscape and the importance of customer service given by the COO of Ashley's at University of Tampa and was very impressed by him. What a mistake that was-- this chain knows nothing about customer service, nor do they care. Don't ignore all of these one star reviews is my advice. Go somewhere else. read more

Purchased a new coffee table online at Ashley Furniture. It was delivered as scheduled and some assembly was required. I'm ok with that but not everyone is married to a handyman that can make miracles happen. One minute it's in pieces and then it's a beautiful addition to my living room decor. First of all ask for Bailey when you visit, she was tremendous! We were pretty shocked by how reasonable/ affordable their furniture was for the quality. We got a beautiful sleeper sofa, love seat, protection plan and delivery/assembly for less than a thousand. Contracted delivery guys ruined parts of the sofa and Bailey scheduled a replacement exchange fast and we get to enjoy this one to sit on until our replacement gets here in a few days. Top notch customer care, no pushy sales, classy from start to finish, great furniture for any look you're going for- unless you're weird or looking for something weird, then hit the dump, thrift store, back alley or garage sale. This store is selling furniture that they say they have in stock but when they get ready to deliver it, they don't have it in stock. The manager of the store was the least helpful, Zak Eubank, and pretty much told us that the item will get delivered when eventually. Our daughter has been trying to get a response from Ashley store since July, and nothing. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We walked into the store knowing exactly what we wanted. Bought it and out of the store within 30 mins. Our delivery was scheduled for 10/29. They delivered the wrong items. We spoke with customer service and there was NO customer service skills at all. They did not have a resolution, no apology, NOTHING! It took 3 phone calls the next day to get a new delivery date scheduled. All interactions with the customer service center was a huge lack of customer service. Now, our delivery is scheduled 3 days later than originally scheduled. AND they are charging us $200 delivery fee. WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN OFFERED A DISCOUNT OR REFUND FOR THE DELIVERY! haha, yea right! Went in to buy a couch collection today. I was never greeted. I walked the whole store asking 2 staff members for assistance in the leather power reclining sets. Everyone was to busy for me. They didn't even have the audacity to say I'm with another client I'll be right with you. So instead I went to another competitor. Legit the worst. I ordered a couch on Black Friday. They keep pushing back the delivery date. It's now mid-February and I still have no clue when it's arriving. I've been on hold now for over 20 minutes to try and get a delivery estimate but nobody picks up. Same thing happened last month when I tried to see when it was being delivered. I had to physically drive back to the store just to talk to somebody. The store manager is useless and offered me zero help. This is the last piece of furniture I'll ever buy from this place. The customer service is definitely the worst I've experienced. They don't care about their customers and there's no way to even get a hold of them! I wish I could rate them negative stars. I thought Ashley furniture was a reputable store. I bought a living room set, leather. the recliner was making noise and tried to get them to do something. I was told it was a manufacturer defect. did I mention that I bought the 5 year furniture coverage for $800. so now one of the end tables is loosing its color and the leather on the recliner is discoloring. the $800 policy doesn't cover the leather coloring. they could give a a company to call with a discount code. Nice. I had to take pictures of the end table and send to them. I have not heard one word from them. The whole package, couch, loveseat, recliner, coffee table and end tables, cost about $9000. If you are thinking about buying from Ashley furniture don't. They have horrendous customer service and a deceiving 5 year furniture protection plan. We had a lazy guy come out to clean our couch and he told us he couldn't clean it because there were too many "stains." Why do they offer a 5 year protection plan when you aren't even allowed to use it to get out stains? I told the lady that works at ashleys I would never purchase from them again and all she said was alrighty and hung up the phone. Alex was a great help when I was trying to pick out a couch. I originally came in with the intent to get a sectional that could have a sleeper option; I moved down to Florida for college and stayed after finding a job here, but my family is from NY, so I was trying to find options for when they came to visit me in my one bedroom home. He helped find some I had scouted out online, directed me towards other options, but ultimately I decided not on a sectional but on a traditional sofa that was extra deep and a bit long, plus an ottoman. It works perfectly in my space! So incredibly comfy, and it came with a bunch of pillows too. My only complaint: when the sofa was delivered, there was several pulled threads on the couch cushions that needed to be trimmed, and the black mesh sheet on the bottom was peeling off. Alex did a wonderful job in store though, and the delivery guys used a couple screws to put the black sheet back on once I pointed it out to them. read more

Horrible Experience!! In September, Ashley scheduled a delivery for our bedroom set. They brought everything but were unable to install the bed due to a factory defective design. they refused to take everything back but said they'd return with the bed. Ashley since then (2 months) has made 4 more trips all ending with the crew stating that there's a factory defective design. Ashley is virtually unresponsive through this whole process. Getting someone on the phone is an impossibility. We've requested a full refund through email but Ashley refuses with a generic email each time. Do not make the mistakes we've made. Go to another supplier. It's one thing to have some issues with suppliers or crews but when the company treats customers like trash during this process it says a lot about this company. There is so much more to post about this experience but we'll save this for court. read more

The last two purchases from this store have been nothing but a hassle. The last purchase was a mattress bought on black friday. The sales person wrote down the wrong model and we were delivered the wrong mattress. Even after going back to the store and admitting their mistake they refuse to make the situation right. Refused return / refund and even scheduled a re-delivery (of the same mattress) without our authorization. The customer care center was useless is resolving the issue. They said they were cancelling the delivery and putting it through the cancellations department and yet today we get a call from the warehouse that the same (wrong) mattress is on the way. Our only recourse is to do a credit card chargeback. Avoid this establishment (not just this store) at all costs. The customer service line said the only recourse was to go back to the store that was the source of the problem to begin with. read more

Manager in this case is Zach. Dishonest. Deplorable. Unethical location. You could not pay me to shop here again. I had to call them the next day to try and reschedule and even then..... nothing until 3 phone calls later. This review is not about the furniture, only the customer service, sales, and management. Again, the dresser and two night stands we received are amazing! The employees however are severely lacking!!! Our sales rep added in a five year warranty without ever discussing it with us, lied about if we chose standard delivery that we would have to assemble the entire products on our own (they arrive assembled, all you have to do is add on the hardware and feet), and when asked to speak to a manager multiple times were denied the option to do so. The customer service team were able to remove my charge for the warranty after seven phone calls, but still stuck with the unnecessary delivery fee. WILL NOT RETURN! read more

I am actually rating the very poor customer service at this location. Office Manager promised to look into delivery issues and damaged night stand. After 7 weeks still no response. During that time I left messages for sales woman and Store Manager. No response from anyone. Needless to say I had to call and have another tech sent out because this product keeps failing (laminate falling off, rivets falling out of the metal corners). I finally asked for my money back and they take back their product. THEY WILL NOT REFUND ANY MONEY. I could find a better quality table at ikea for a 10th of the price. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE! I had furniture delivered last week, two pieces were correct but broken, the other two pieces were the wrong color. They called me on Saturday to tell me my furniture will be delivered tomorrow, I did not receive any notifications so after calling eight times and spending 40 minutes on the phone, I finally got a person. The person tells me that I called yesterday to reschedule it to February 2 which is not correct. I never called to reschedule. Now they're telling me I have to wait till January 28. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!
