My wife and I bought a new house in Cheyenne and needed a full house of furniture. Naturally we went to Ashley HomeStore and were treated very well. The furniture is reasonably priced and the service overall was good. We had no furniture in our house and needed a bed so they made a special delivery early so we could sleep in our home. The only clitch was that the factory/warehouse waited to send all our furniture until all of the furniture was ready to ship. That would have been fine except our recliner loveseat which was available when we ordered apparently it was not accurate so the loveseat was back ordered. The manager got involved to resolve the issue with shipping our furniture and we got it within a couple of weeks. Our loveseat came about 10 days later. I find the reviews with low ratings to be absurd and represent folks who are unhappy and have unreasonable expectations. And yes the negative reviews did give my wife and I pause to do with business with Ashley but we did and glad we did. My suggestion is go and enjoy buying your furniture and be reasonable in you expectations. Oh by the way the delivery folks were very good! read more

Very bad experience with this location will never shop there again and here is why: my husband bought a couch when he moved up here a good month before I moved up with our kids and it still wasn't in. He went to see why and they told him the couch he was getting was sent to another store for display because it was a new model so we had to wait several more weeks of sitting on the floor to get ours because it was more important for the stores to have floor models then to get the couch that was already paid for to the costumer. When he went to pick it up they sent him home with four other peoples furniture instead of the one couch we bought. Very horrible experience and like I said will never shop there or any of their stores again. read more

In February my wife and I purchased a bedroom set from the closing outlet store. They dropped it off I looked through the boxes and noticed a damaged drawer. I called to let them know and realized the store closed and now had to go through the main store for everything. I was told twice someone would come look at it, and twice stood up. I went to the store and spoke with the ladies in customer service area. once again was promised something, I was told they would just order the new drawer and to Email pictures. I did email pictures and heard nothing back. It is now a total of 4 months later. I still have no drawer and no word. I call again and I was told that the person wasn't there who handles that they will leave then a message and call me back, STILL NO CALL OR DRAWER. More was damaged but at this point a drawer would be nice. This was the worst case of horrible customer service I have ever had they are incompetent and unprofessional there is no chance in Hell I'd ever recommend this place or purchase anything from them again. They have the rudest manager I have ever met. I wasn't able to be home for the delivery because of my fathers funeral and they wouldn't reschedule a delivery for weeks! The manager told me to get over it, that they don't deliver all the time to my area, even though they told me initially that they could deliver. It wasn't until myself and my mother threatened to refund did they magically find time to deliver. The manager never apologized and was rude to my mother as well. read more

Worst customer service I've ever seen. Picked out a bed mattress, was told none in stock, so I ordered one online from Ashley furniture. After two weeks sleeping on it, decided it was way too firm. Wanted to exchange it for a softer mattress. At the time of purchase I Was told by the sales person, we had 30 days to return or exchange the mattress, as long as we purchased a mattress protector. Now I'm being told by Ashley furniture in Cheyenne ,since I purchased the mattress online, there is nothing they can do to help. The online company said I would have to donate the mattress, get a Receipt, send them a copy and then they will send another mattress? No body takes a used mattress so how is this possible and it sounds completely wrong. I'll stress again, Ashley furniture said "there's nothing we can do ", and that's what they did, NOTHING. Now I need to purchase another mattress, NOT at Ashley furniture. Normally I don't Yelp, just want people to know what their getting into, I would have never bought the mattress had I known this!!!! read more

My wife and I went into the Cheyenne Ashley store after seeing an Ashley TV ad for a three piece group of furniture for 699.00. The saleslady who greeted us didn't have a clue about this special. She then told us that it was a national advertisement and it didn't apply to this store. She also said they don't do pricing in that way. Why then, was the ad being shown in Cheyenne if this store wasn't included? Ridiculous! We will NEVER shop at an Ashley store again! read more

My mom and dad made a bed and mattress purchase. When it was delivered, the frame was cracked. They have been waiting since nov 2016 for the replacement. It still has not arrived. My mom tried to talk to the Manager Dan, and he will not return any calls. I called today to try to get the money back since they will not fix it. I was told that they would have their repair person come check it even though he did that already. My parents are in their 80's and live on a limited income. They spent $2500 on this bed and it was defective when delivered and even have it in writing. It is sad when a business is not able to make it satisfactory and the "Manager" refuses to return calls. I just hope that the owner knows how much business they are losing with someone like that there. This is small town Cheyenne and word gets around. read more

My husband and I ordered furniture about a month ago. I'm writing this review on the floor of our living room as our furniture has still not arrived. The woman who helped us on the floor told us we could expect a three week delay, which we were okay with, then leaned in and whispered "I'll probably have your furniture within a week. I just can't say that or I'll get fired!" At this point maybe she should. We called at the end of our three week waiting period to be told it would be one more week before we could get our furniture with no explanation as to why it was going to be a week late. On Thursday, February 18th we received a call that all of our furniture was in and if we came and picked it up they would reimburse us the delivery charge. Why would we opt to come pick it up if we made the decision to have it delivered? Clearly there was a reason we wanted delivery! No explanation to why they couldn't deliver it on Friday either. We were asked if Monday from 4:00-6:00 would work for us. At 6:30 I called Ashley furniture and asked where our furniture was. "Oh they are running behind today. It looks like they just got to the stop before you guys... They should be there around 7:00." Seriously? It took a month for our furniture to come in, they tried to push us to come pick it up from the store when we wanted delivery, and no courtesy call letting us know they would be an hour or more late?! Do not shop at Ashley furniture... At least not the one in Cheyenne. If they didn't charge a 20% restocking fee (increased to 40% if you return it after 14 days) they would be losing our business. Unfortunately for now they have us but we will not be making this mistake again! VERY disappointed with my experience. read more

I ordered a bookshelf, table and chairs, recliner, TV stand, bed frame and nightstand from Larry in the beginning of September, and not only did he price match with American Furniture Warehouse, but he was helpful and knowledgeable about potential concerns I might have. Just another furniture store that is constantly having "Going out of business" sales that have prices that are still marked too high. You can't buy what you see in the show room, you have to wait until it ships from wherever and yes...you pay the delivery fee after waiting. It's a scam. You should be able to go into a furniture store and say "I want this one right here", and have it delivered that day especially for the prices they have. I feel sorry for the poor people that have to work there on a commision. read more

my wife and i purchased a desk and chair in December 2012. last week one of the arms on the chair came loose from the frame. after returning the chair we found another chair at one of their competitors store. I went to another store prior to going to Ashley. When my daughter and I went in, nobody greeted us. Finally a clerk came over and seemed "bothered" when I said I wanted to get a great mattress at a fair price. We left. Went to Ashley. The man we met there was eager to help! He walked us through everything he had in our price range. I didn't feel any pressure and his demeanor made me feel comfortable shopping there. I would definitely go to Ashley for any future furniture needs. The prices are excellent and the salesman really work hard to get you just what you need in your price range. Just ask for Dan, I'm sure he will give you the top notch service that he gave me. read more

This store is receiving a whole star in this review simply because this review program will not let me give it zero stars. We purchased a dining set with matching server and a large amount of patio furniture the first week of May. The salesman we worked with claimed to be a manager, worked up our order, we paid for it, and we were told our furniture would be arriving in 2-3 weeks. At the end of May I called to check on our order because we hadn't heard from them. When I asked to speak to David, I was told he no longer worked there because he was let go for making unreasonable promises to customers (like furniture arriving within 2-3 weeks). The new person I spoke to said my furniture was schedule to arrive June 24. June 24 came and still no call, so I called the store again. Learned the second person I spoke with was no longer employed there so I was directed to the "old-timer" Judy. Judy explained that our furniture was scheduled to arrive the first week of July. When I inquired why I keep receiving inconsistent information, she explained when they do these big "sales" they just hire temporary workers who are only looking for the next sale and do not really know the correct information. She was apologetic to a very limited point, but had a "this is just the way it is so deal with it" attitude. The first week of July has arrived and we personally went to the store to speak with Judy and check on the status of our order. Judy had very much the same attitude after informing my husband that our furniture is schedule to arrive the first week of August. We have requested a full refund and cancellation of the order, but first have to receive a phone call from the only person that can issue a refund who, of course, was not in the store at the time. If we don't hear from him/her in the next 24 hours, I suppose I will have to dispute the charges with my credit card company. This store is a complete and total joke and I will not step foot into again even if they paid me. read more

CHEYENNE'S MOTO "IF IT'S BROKE, WE WON'T FIX IT CAUSE THAT'S HOW WE DELIVER/RECEIVE IT" At first I thought I had an amazing order from this company, everything was delivered when agreed upon and the set was just as beautiful as I imagined it would be. The store contacted me the day the pieces arrived to let me know the headboard had damage and they were ordering me a new one. The damaged head board arrived w/ everything else so that my bed could at least be set up while a waited for the replacement. Other then being told that it was damaged I couldn't find the damage, guess it was on the back out of viewing. The replacement head board arrived and wasn't as beautiful. It appeared that on one side of the head board, about 8-10 inches of the finishing was damaged and I contacted Ashley and this was nearly 4 weeks ago and I'm now told that ALL the head boards will arrive like that because it's a packaging issues and to basically suck it up and get over it. Even though I just paid money for a brand new headboard I'm told that I have to deal w/ a damaged one cause EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WILL ARRIVE THAT WAY EVEN THOUGH THE FIRST ONE DIDN'T. Also if it's a packaging issue why is the issue only on one side of the headboard vs. both sides? I've had a few family members look at it and ask "Do you think this is a packaging issues or a finishing issue?" They do the exact same thing and look at the other side of the head board and say "Finishing" cause it's only located in one are and on one side. So I would say if you want new items don't order from here because apparently they can't have their products shipped to them safely or delivered to your house safely and you are left w/ BRAND NEW DAMAGED PRODUCTS and told to suck it up cause that's how ALL their products will arrive, DAMAGED! We started our dealings with Judy but decided she was not the sale person for us when she refused to listen to us. We continued to tell her that we could not purchase furniture until after we closed on our new home and we would be purchasing with cash. She kept pushing us to apply for credit to see what we qualified for no matter how many times we said no, but the deal breaker was when she literally chased out of the store when we were attempting to leave to look at another store. When we decided to purchase we were lucky enough to work with Larry who remembered our names every time we've gone into purchase furniture. Flash forward two weeks and we received the call to deliver but the couch and love seat we ordered were demolished in warehouse. All that was going to be delivered was an accent chair and our king size mattress. The day they delivered the delivery team attempted to only deliver the chair saying our mattress wasn't on the truck. When my husband convinced them to take a second look they found our mattress but tried to say it wouldn't get up our staircase. My husband informed them that in fact it would because he got our pillow top king size mattress upstairs on his own. They proceeded to bitch and moan the entire time. When it came time for them to haul away our old mattress and an old box spring they claimed it wouldn't fit on the truck?!?! Um they just got rid of a mattress how wouldn't it fit? They decided that they would leave that mattress and box spring on our front lawn and pick it up when they were done with deliveries for the evening. My house looked like hillbilly heaven until 7:30 that night. read more

My husband and I went back to Ashley's furniture to decide on new furniture for our living room and bedroom. Dan was very patient with us as we had our toddler and older kids with us either trying to hide under tables or ask "when are we going home?" We were very pleased with the warranty that Ashley Furniture offers which would cover any accidental damages and is good for 5 years for an extra fee. However we felt that warranty was going to come in handy. We had a great experience and was given the time to look around and get the feel of things as well as a moment to discuss final decisions with my husband. Dan even grabbed and carried a coffee table to the sofa we liked for us to see how they looked together. The only issue was that even though many of the items we selected were marked down the prices were still hard to take in. Overall our experience at the store was great, lots of styles and great customer service. read more

Again, we are having troubles with Ashley furniture. Only months after having our couch, the back broke on one side. I thought we must have done something to cause it. Nope. A couple weeks later, the other side broke as well. Since it was still under the warranty, my husband called Ashley's to have them come repair it. They told us they would call to schedule a person to come look at it. Of course they never called. My husband again called. This time we got set up with a person to come look at it on the weekend of thanksgiving. That weekend we got a call saying the person was sick and wouldn't make it. A few days later we got a call (after again having to call and ask them to set us up a time) stating they would be here that Sunday. The man showed up, tracked wet snow throughout our house, and stayed for maybe five minutes. He told us that they would for sure fix our couch and that this was a common problem with their furniture. Red flag! They should not be selling couches they know will break. The man said he didn't have time to fix the couch that day. He told us not to sit on it for fear of it tearing the fabric. The service man told me that he would be here the next day, and if not, he would for sure be here the next Sunday. He also said that he would get a new cushion ordered for us and have it delivered right to our house. The next Sunday came and went. On Monday my husband called again and they said they never heard from the service man and he hadn't ordered our cushion. My husband explained everything and they told him they would get back to him after their meeting the next Sunday. Needless to say, they never called back. Today I called and asked to speak with a manager. The manager was not kind. He did not appologize. He said he was in the warehouse and would talk to his scheduling people and give me a call right back. I've now waited over 6 hours. The store has not called and is now closed. My husband will be calling them tomorrow morning. I think I will now need to speak with the district manager. I'm so fed up with this place. If I could warn every person not to purchase anything from this store I would. The other pieces of furniture we also purchased are deteriorating and falling apart in less than a year. It is just my husband and I in the house so it is not due to extreme use or kids. I'm beyond frustrated. read more
