Going in and buying with them was no problem. They will easily take your money. The day before delivery, I called for a time frame. They said they changed the date. Yes, changed it, did not tell me, and did not attempt to reschedule. So now here it is, two months after I ordered, furniture still not delivered, and they called me three days ago to tell me they discontinued the area rug I already paid for. They didn't even offer me another at a reduced cost for their mistake. Delivery is supposed to be today and I've asked them multiple times for the time frame and they refuse to give me one, so I'm expected to spend my entire day off at the house instead of running any errands. Do not buy anything from here. From looking at the amount of negative reviews, I should have read through them before going to the furniture store. read more

Visited the Burlington store before Black Friday and were told that prices reflected Black Friday discounts......it was a lie. I was looking at BF shopping ads and noticed the couch we bought was a $100 less than what we paid. Contacted store and Ashley corporate with each offered a $50 off coupon on our next furniture purchase. Lying is not acceptable when the customer specifically asks about the price in relation to BF sales. Shame on Ashley! read more

The furniture was a big investment for us. We bought what we thought was comfortable, durable, and would last us at least 10 years... not the case! within the first year the cushions lost all support, and just continued to break down. Now we have to put the pillows that came with it under the cushions to provide any kind of comfort, even so it hurts to sit on the couch or chair for any extended amount of time. Horrible! we spent a couple thousand dollars and the furniture is GARBAGE!!! read more

Update for the chair missing parts. They provided a new chair free of charge, it came with all the parts, BUT required my dewalt cordless drill and a 1/2" drill bit to make the assembly work. Some of the holes were out of alignment and would only let the bolts try and cross thread. Pitiful quality control. As for the speaker damage from the delivery and setup on a different purchase. The contractor is paying to have the damage fixed, less than what it will cost but at least I don't have to foot the entire bill. Never going beck to @Ashley! read more

We purchased a rug to be made from their list. We waited one month as we hadn't heard anything from them. We were told that the day after we ordered it, it was discontinued. No one bothered to call us. We were told they would refund our money. Well, it's been 2 weeks, and there's been no refund as of yet. I do not recommend Ashley furniture. read more

The value, the value isn't there when they set it up in my wife's memory care facility, the facility deemed it unsafe because it was to high,I wanted to return it after 4 days and they said that once it's delivered it yours.... Service::I made It perfectly clear I was concerned about the height and was NEVER told about the return policy,so its commission 1st, customers last just anything to make a sale and cut throat....selection::: after the fact I was told that was the lowest bed they sell.... I have been Ashley customer for 20+ yrs but guess what NEVER EVER will I step foot in your store ....... Oh did I mention that my wife is 5 yrs into Dementia and she fell out of the bed because of the hight and Fractured her neck so in closing I think ASHLEY Furniture SUCKS and what really sucks for you is I need new furniture and I'll never Buy from you again read more

I needed a new carpet for my bedroom and I had a $100 gift card to Ashley so that is the first place I went to look. A very nice woman named Susan greeted me us at the door, she was very knowledgeable and informed me about the sales and availability while she was showing me the carpet selection. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and on top of that I purchased the carpet for a very affordable price. Another bonus was that that carpet arrived earlier than expected. Great quality and awesome service, Susan deserves a pay raise, and I'm a fan of Ashley HomeStore. read more

Corporate and local store won't help to speed this situation up and get someone out here in a timely manner. The delivery man was standing directly in front of the defective/damaged item when he had is sign that item was delivered. If he hadn't blocked the view we would not have accepted to piece. Now we have an item we can't use and it is integral to the entire entertainment center. I do not recommend this company. read more

Ashley Store - Damage - Furniture Stores Near Me - Burlington, Washington

I will never purchase from this store or any other Ashley furniture again. I bought my furniture three years ago and it was a problem then and still is now. The sales team of course makes their promises they can't keep to make their commission. Furniture was delivered weeks after promised. When it arrived a piece was damaged so it took longer. Mechanisms in the dresser don't work properly. Our bed frame has broken already. They coded our loan wrong so we were charged interest by the bank. When trying to fix it they don't communicate to other employees what's going on so my hour round trip will now be two to maybe fix it? They don't care about wasting peoples time. Definitely not worth your time or money. read more

I would give a ZERO if I could. my very soon to be wife and I went here met a great sales person named Matt. we bought a couch set with coffee table and two end tables a very beautiful set. we got it 50 percent off paid a little less than 3,000 for the set. we waited a good amount of time for the couch to be made available for shipping. once that day arrived 2 people showed up in my house who looked like they had ZERO to with Ashley furniture. no shirts no ashley truck no nothin. these two spoke English only when it suited them otherwise they spoke a language that I had no idea what they were even saying. these couches that we bought were ivory not my choice happy wife happy life situation. I watched these guys drop and drag this couch repeatedly across the ground before even getting to my door. now at Ashley they had talked me into buying the protection plan and I said OK since the couches were white I figured I just give them a call and have them cleaned up. now comes the point where these two guys tried to bring in the couch they just bulldozed it into my door and walked away. it won't fit. no trying to finesse the couch, no trying to like finagle it into the house nothing. I used to be a mover and I just took out a couch the exact same size as the one I just bought these guys refused to try and get it in my house. so I tried to explain to them how to do it so that it can come into the house as they were doing that not only did they damage my roof, not only did they damage my far wall, they also damaged the corner on the hallway multiple times chipped out big chunks of the sheet rock and they damaged my solid wood door. I called customer service I spoke with a young girl named freedom mind you she was from Florida I believe or Tennessee is what they told me one of the two very nice convo was very short didn't fucking help me at all. I go down to Ashley furniture to speak to Matt Matt was very concerned about what happened this is why I really like Matt. it seem to me that they weren't taking it seriously they weren't offering us any kind of compensation they wanted to re-deliver the same dirty ass couch I told them I would make it easier and I would try to get a sectional so that their unskilled movers can actually get the shit into my house. I almost forgot to tell you that unbeknownst to me one of the movers snapped a photo of my wife holding the door open for him while he had the couch resting on these three baskets that are mounted by my front door to my sheet rock and sent that to customer service to try and get out of the damage they had already done. I have heard nothing about compensation for the damage I've heard nothing about anything of that picture we are thinking about getting a lawyer and suing the shit out of Ashley furniture for taking a photo of my wife without her permission in my own home. Needless to say I just got home not even 10 minutes ago from canceling the order and getting my money back because I've spent the past 48 hours at Ashley furniture trying to get couches delivered to our house. so that when our wedding guest show up a week and a half from now they have a place to sit. well that didn't happen because every time this so-called manager Khalid would make a deal with me a verbal deal he would back out of it half an hour later. I think they're full of shit there I was told one minute I would get free shipping on all the multiple different things were being shipped I was told they sell me a floor model but then they wouldn't sell me a floor model because they didn't wanna leave the floor blank for three weeks but it's OK to leave my living room floor blank for 3 weeks. there's been nothing but disrespect when my wife went off on Khalid he had the balls to tell her over the phone and maybe she just has bad luck. this place is a fucking joke they don't care about you they don't care about your home. all they care about is a dollar and that sale. We have purchased a living room set and tried to purchase a mattress set and both times nothing but excuses from the store about delays and mistakes. This recent purchase a mattress and base was the biggest cluster I have ever been thru. The day of delivery ( they text a couple days before to remind you of the day and time) at about 1 hr before it was to arrive they text I'm only getting the mattress the base they don't have. mind you our bed has been dismantled already, after several phone calls no one can tell me why the base isn't coming. So we take the mattress put it on the old Box springs and they tell us we will get the base the following week. we dismantle the bed again the delivery comes and it is a twin bed base for a queen size mattress. So now we decide this is enough call and tell the store manager all of this tell him to keep the base and remove the charge. Then the following week we get a text that they are 20 minutes away and want to know if the mattress is ready for them to pick up and remove. We tell them no, again call the manager and are told he has no idea what's going on(OBVIOUSLY) , because from my experience no one there has a clue . I'm not sure what kind of people they are hiring to read invoices in the wear house and delivery area but it's pretty apparent they can't read. And calling and talking to the people in charge gets you no where. According to the manager we shouldn't have a problem , because we weren't charged for the base, so that should settle it. This place is not well managed and doesn't care about anything after you pay your money and walk out the door. After 3 tries we couldn't get a base we bought for our bed and had to argue to get a refund. I'd pay more and buy somewhere else. A warning to those thinking of shopping here. We've been customers since 2016 and have bought so much furniture from here- basically our whole house is Ashley furniture. Our buying experience was great; but when it came down to delivery and customer service, rude people. They just want you to buy their furniture then it's all downhill from there. The furniture is insanely CHEAP and I have had FOUR items delivered ruined and not one was replaced!! Our first bed that we ordered came with a missing piece that was $100 and we were told we were going to have to buy it. Needless to say, we got it without paying for it again. With this order, our black bedroom furniture was delivered with scratches and the mirror had a black mark on there that still will not come off. They pulled out their black marker and covered the scratches. So absolutely pathetic. Alex, the manager at the Burlington store told me I would be getting a call for a delivery of a new bed because it was delivered ruined. It has been a month and I haven't heard from anyone. He told me "if you order the same bed for the THIRD time it's most likely going to come ruined again." What a great reputable company. Not! DON'T waste your time with this company! Cheap furniture and inconsiderate employees. read more

Absolute worst experience. Do not buy from the French woman. She is a liar and only cares about getting the sale. She will tell you whatever you want to hear to buy and then they make it nearly impossible to cancel your order. I will never buy from Ashley's again and I have spent over $10k with this company in the past and they will never see another penny from me. read more

TERRIBLE !!! BELIEVE ALL THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS of this Ashley's location !!!! My mom bought some end tables for me and they were really cheap and I decided against them , we returned them but never got our money back !!! finally we didn't see a refund so we went down there in person and asked where was the refund and they said oh we better do that for you now and they would not refund it unless we had the original credit card and we did but it was a newly issued card but still the right name and address and had our id but they refused and said this wasnt the original credit card, but it had new numbers on it because it had been compromised and we had to get a new credit card. They didn't care and simply refused to refund us respond it or do anything with that and so we had to go run around and go all over the place and got the runaround and to this they still haven't refunded us. We have to go down there again in person now. They still haven't refunded us but they got the tables back. This has been the worst experience My mom and I have ever experienced in our lives and this place is a nightmare, and the workers are dishonest, and they lie to you. Trust me do not buy anything from this place. You'll be sorry if you have to exchange or return it, they didn't want to do the return and they are dishonest they will lie to you and they will Not want to give you your money back, but they'll gladly take the merchandise back. read more

I've unfortunately been burned by this store like so many other people have. They promised me a delivery date upon purchase but on the scheduled date nobody showed up. I called the company multiple times (30 minute hold each time) and was lied to by every single person only to find out the items I ordered have not even been manufactured yet. Customer service rep on the phone told me there's no guarantee on when they will be built or delivered. Run, don't walk, in the other direction. The marked price on the items we did buy were twice the online price too. I had to threaten to order everything online to get them to honor their own online price. I almost never review and when I do it's because something is REALLY good or REALLY bad.... In this case it's really bad. I thought I would change my 2 stars back down to one star. I am STILL waiting on 2 pieces of furniture I bought MID JANUARY!!!!! It's absolutely ridiculous to wait half a year. I went in to ask and one of the desk guys said he'd check and get back to to me that evening , never did. I went in the following week and spoke to another manager and only for him to call me (at least he did that!) that evening and say it's out of their control as to when we get our furniture. I don't know how a company that does business like that stays open. I DO NOT recommend. Watch out for the "Great deals" they throw in. It's probably to butter you up to massively let you down with their SUPER LATE deliveries. read more

NO STARS would have been my choice if it was an option. My experience has been a nightmare since day 1. I purchased a sofa and the communication regarding delivery was almost non existent. I finally received it and it was damaged, so they took a report and said they would send a replacement. After not hearing from them i called repeatedly and kept getting someone in the Philippines. Finally they told me it got scheduled for the next day, no advance notice. they came and swapped the sofa. After a week or 2 I noticed it was defective. I went to the store and asked for a refund on a friday. The manager said he would call me Tuesday after it got approved. NO CALL on tuesday so then i called the store again repeatedly. They said they approved the refund and would schedule a pickup. Not hearing from them again i called on the 15th and they said they were coming on the 20th and would contact me a day ahead to confirm a time. I got no email or call or text the day before and then the morning of the 20th i got an email indicating they would be there in 3 hours. Well having not received confirmation in advance i had other things planned for the day so i called the store again and told them they need to reschedule because they did not give me notice and nobody would be there when they arrive. Still waiting for a call back as I type this. THE ABSOLUTE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and the product sucked, first one damaged before it arrived and 2nd one defective. read more

We bought a couch from the Burlington location. We purchased the couch and the warranty (which was an additional $300) because I was pregnant and thought it was a good idea to have some insurance with a kid on the way. They told me my kid could pee, poop, take scissors and cut it open, anything external; it was totally covered. First, the couch felt totally different than at the store. This one was overstuffed and extremely firm. I assumed it would go down once we started breaking it in. WRONG! Within the year the entire couch started unraveling. Instead of softening, all the seams started tearing and unraveling. So I called to resolve the issue since I had the warranty. When I called, they told me it wasn't their problem; this was a manufacturer problem so it wasn't covered under warranty. When I called the manufacturer, they told me they wouldn't cover it because it was passed a year (it was 13 months when I called) so basically I got a lemon couch and my warranty was pointless. It cost me $125 for a new cushion not including labor and that cushion is already falling apart. I don't even sit on this couch anymore. I sit on the floor; but sitting on the couch to read to my child is apparently too much for this couch. $2000+ later and I have a totally lame, trashed couch that barely last a year. Never again, Ashley furniture. read more

We came back in to find out where our order was. They informed us it was rescheduled from April 30th to May 9th. They did this without every calling us or texting is for an update. Absolutely terrible customer service and when we tried to make a complaint they have is the customer care number and told us they didn't have a supervisor, manager, or district manager. I went into this store looking for dining room chairs. The sales associate had no idea what he was talking about and was very unexperienced. I placed an order for 6 chairs. 3 weeks passed and 5 came perfect and 1 came damaged so they had to take it back. I did not hear from them again. So I called customer service who left me know the delivery driver never contacted them about a reorder of my chair. So I scheduled another deliver for a week later. Time frame was given and scheduled out my day to wait around for the chair. THE DELIVERY NEVER SHOWED UP. I called and customer service said that my chair NEVER got onto the truck for that morning and someone was SUPPOSE to call to let us know. NO ONE CALLED. Wasted an entire day. Finally 2 weeks later the chair finally came. Therefore; customer service is absolutely horrible. And that is the long story short. I will not order from Ashley's again. read more

Danielle was extremely helpful. She was personable. I pulled the table up online and it was cheaper and she got her manager to approve the purchase. The delivery fee wasn't too bad. Will review later after the table is set up and delivered. Edit. Was given the run around with dishes. Saying they were going to be delivered with the table. They never were. They said the dishes were delivered when I was out of town. Mind you I called twice to confirm that they would not be delivered while I was out of town for a funeral. Told that they would be delivered with my table. Table delivery. The first day it was supposed to be delivered on base. The company called and said I could load it on my car and bring it to my house and put it together myself. The delivery company told me that their truck was too big and could not get on base. They ended up telling Ashley headquarters that they don't deliver during the weekend. Called headquarters to reschedule a delivery and the agent I spoke to said that the delivery company was lying. That there are trucks that fit on base all the time. The agent was a vet and said that 18 wheelers go through base all the time. I agreed. read more

Before having anything delivered, there is something very key to know that they don't tell you up front. THEY DON'T HIRE INSURED DELIVERY SERVICE. It was quite a surprise to be asked to sign a release that explicitly states that the delivery service OR Ashley Furniture are not responsible for damage to your house and that you CANNOT return furniture damaged during delivery. So, you're left with choosing to send the delivery service back with the furniture you've been waiting for way too long, or accept responsibility ON THEIR BEHALF. INSANE!!! read more

You are better off buying from a smaller locally owned store. Ashley was bad from the start. I had looked online then went to their Burlington store. The prices seemed higher than I remembered, but thought maybe I was confusing models. After purchasing a dining table set, and entertainment stand w fireplace insert, and a Sofa, loveseat, recliner. (It took 3 hours in store) got home put same items in online basket with delivery and all it was over $1000.00 less than the "Sale" price in store. Drove back next day (an hour drive) they agreed to price match their website. But it took them 3 hours to redo the order. Delivery was 2 hours after window given with no calls to advise. Sofa not included again no call. All 4 chairs for dining set wobble. Buy elsewhere read more

The actual customer service buying the couch was great. However, less than 3 years after buying it (I feel a couch should last at LEAST 5-10 years) a board in the back has broken lose (or just broken). No kids, nobody jumping on couch, just people sitting. Was told there was a limited lifetime warranty and to call customer service. I did. Found out that since I moved between buying the couch and now, it completely voids the warranty. I now know how limited that warranty is. Basically, furniture falls apart relatively quickly, and warranty is next to useless. read more

Ok, the sales staff was polite, friendly, and answered all my questions.....The problem starts immediately after that with the warehouse and contacting someone that can answer questions and actually follow through. I waited for 7 weeks for my order, and then someone in the office changed my delivery date, and they said it was me that wanted it changed....Then they would not give me back my date or time. This whole place is disaster, from the top down.... The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing....PEOPLE, pass on this place, they have great sales, but the follow up service, really should embarrass the owners.....I even went into the store to talk to the Manager, "Bonnie", and she assured me that she would call the warehouse and then call me back with an answer......She did not even call me and follow through with her promise.... She did not even have any self pride to keep a promise.... read more

The staff was very nice and helpful. I went in because I'm a consumer and they were having a "48%" off deal. Unfortunately I don't recommend Ashley's. Entirely overpriced. read more

False advertising. The sign for the sofa we were purchasing clearly stated a five year warranty was included. When I went to pay I had to ask for the total because they didn't say. I asked why it was almost $200 more than it should be and they said because of the warranty. They did not honor the sign indicating the warranty was included and insisted I pay for it in addition. I refused so they would not include a warranty. It took four people over an hour to complete this transaction and not one of them apologized for the wait or the false advertising. It was clear they didn't care at all. I will never purchase another thing from Ashley. read more

Fast forward to Aug 4th, the warehouse still does not have our furniture, now our "new guaranteed" date is Aug 14th. The retail experience was warm, professional, and accommodating. Tammy Bush was a consummate professional, knowledgeable, and truly wonderful. Beyond that, delivery has been a colossal pain in the ass. This is the third time I've had to take time off of work for a dubious answer of whether my order will actually be there or not. Customer service essentially says, ya, fuck off, we've been paid, and we don't care after you walk out of the showroom floor. I understand if items are back ordered, no problem. But don't let me lose time and revenue to meet your delivery service, especially when I spent $8,700.00. Tell me. Have some semblance of professionalism for Christ's sake. Who's running the show there, a clapping monkey? It's pretty far removed from acceptable. Get your shit together. Many friends around the country have expressed the exact frustration with Ashley as a chain, so this is not unique to this location, rather a laoxidazicsl corporate mindset that it's ok. Well, it's a world in which reviews of experiences are viewable, if you keep it up, you will be closing stores... one by one, until you file for bankruptcy. Ashley continues to message me attempting to pacify my review, well, no, I will not sugarcoat my experience. *Addendum, now I'm getting bills that make no sense that do not reflect my contract. Ashley, you have set a new record for most incompetent company to exist. A further addendum: I've been offered a customer service number from a call center that can't help, gosh, thanks for the hollow gesture of we don't care, but want to appear to. Let me give you the number of someone in a call center that has no idea what's going on, and certainly can't help, but before I offer you that insult, call the number, and go through automated prompts. Ashley, I spent $8,700 at your store, this is not an acceptable way to conduct business. read more

I walked into this store with my elderly dad who was in the process of recovering from the flu. He had an oxygen tank, a medical mask and, frankly, he looked terrible. That didn't scare anyone away. So far so good. We were shopping for a couple new recliners to help him (and my mom who was also sick) sleep upright as he recovered from his illness. When we started talking features and pricing, my dad realized 2019 prices were pretty steep. Long story short, the lady who assisted us was kind, patient and very informative. She helped us find TWO recliners that were a perfect fit for both my parents. Two different styles, but she was able to get them in matching colors. Delivery was made within a week and everything went smoothly. I'm happy to have had such a positive experience and would recommend this store to anyone looking for a nice bit of new furniture. read more

Buyer beware!!! Bought $8000 worth of furniture 4 years ago. We were talked into an additional $500 warranty and were told if we didn't use it in 5 years we'd get our $500 back. The service at the store was great. However the delivery was a complete joke! It was around the holidays and we got rid of our other furniture expecting our new couch to arrive. Long story short we got our three-piece couch in three separate deliveries. And we didn't get our coffee table till a month later. They came early I had arranged to be here from work and couldn't be here when they were here early. So they laughed and said they would have to reschedule for a different day. So here comes Christmas and I have my family gathering and I have a love seat to sit on. Instead of a 6 person couch with hideabed. My company had to sleep on the floor. During the deliveries they tore the crap out of my yard leaving huge ruts that are still there four years later. Now I only owe $900. I called to get my $500 credit and they say I get store credit. I don't want anymore of they're freaking furniture. The base of the couch broke within the first three months and when I called the warranty they said that part wasn't covered. So I wasted my $500 now I don't get it back what a shit show! I only wish I would've read all these awful reviews before I purchased my furniture there. read more

Extremely poor customer service. Would not recommend buying anything here online during COVID. I tried to call in multiple times only to wait for a voice mail and no reply since leaving a message. The online chat with assistants are very unhelpful and I cannot get in touch with anyone from the warranty or customer service department. I have yet to talk to an actual person after being assured multiple times that I would be contacted by the service team. My headboard arrived broken and they have yet to offer a remedy. It's been over a week since I contacted them and nothing has been done. In store experience was great. Like other reviewers, delivery has been a nightmare. Was told that delivery would be sometime in October, and that was fine, but was called a few days later and told that my order was in the warehouse and I could pick it up. They said that they would schedule delivery and get back to me, WHICH NEVER HAPPENNED. a month later I called to try to get a status and in between several times being cut off I was given several conflicting dates as far out as late November or that no delivery was scheduled.
