    Damage

    Corporate and local store won't help to speed this situation up and get someone out here in a timely manner. The delivery man was standing directly in front of the defective/damaged item when he had is sign that item was delivered. If he hadn't blocked the view we would not have accepted to piece. Now we have an item we can't use and it is integral to the entire entertainment center. I do not recommend this company.

    I would give a ZERO if I could. my very soon to be wife and I went here met a great sales person named Matt. we bought a couch set with coffee table and two end tables a very beautiful set. we got it 50 percent off paid a little less than 3,000 for the set. we waited a good amount of time for the couch to be made available for shipping. once that day arrived 2 people showed up in my house who looked like they had ZERO to with Ashley furniture. no shirts no ashley truck no nothin. these two spoke English only when it suited them otherwise they spoke a language that I had no idea what they were even saying. these couches that we bought were ivory not my choice happy wife happy life situation. I watched these guys drop and drag this couch repeatedly across the ground before even getting to my door. now at Ashley they had talked me into buying the protection plan and I said OK since the couches were white I figured I just give them a call and have them cleaned up. now comes the point where these two guys tried to bring in the couch they just bulldozed it into my door and walked away. it won't fit. no trying to finesse the couch, no trying to like finagle it into the house nothing. I used to be a mover and I just took out a couch the exact same size as the one I just bought these guys refused to try and get it in my house. so I tried to explain to them how to do it so that it can come into the house as they were doing that not only did they damage my roof, not only did they damage my far wall, they also damaged the corner on the hallway multiple times chipped out big chunks of the sheet rock and they damaged my solid wood door. I called customer service I spoke with a young girl named freedom mind you she was from Florida I believe or Tennessee is what they told me one of the two very nice convo was very short didn't fucking help me at all. I go down to Ashley furniture to speak to Matt Matt was very concerned about what happened this is why I really like Matt. it seem to me that they weren't taking it seriously they weren't offering us any kind of compensation they wanted to re-deliver the same dirty ass couch I told them I would make it easier and I would try to get a sectional so that their unskilled movers can actually get the shit into my house. I almost forgot to tell you that unbeknownst to me one of the movers snapped a photo of my wife holding the door open for him while he had the couch resting on these three baskets that are mounted by my front door to my sheet rock and sent that to customer service to try and get out of the damage they had already done. I have heard nothing about compensation for the damage I've heard nothing about anything of that picture we are thinking about getting a lawyer and suing the shit out of Ashley furniture for taking a photo of my wife without her permission in my own home. Needless to say I just got home not even 10 minutes ago from canceling the order and getting my money back because I've spent the past 48 hours at Ashley furniture trying to get couches delivered to our house. so that when our wedding guest show up a week and a half from now they have a place to sit. well that didn't happen because every time this so-called manager Khalid would make a deal with me a verbal deal he would back out of it half an hour later. I think they're full of shit there I was told one minute I would get free shipping on all the multiple different things were being shipped I was told they sell me a floor model but then they wouldn't sell me a floor model because they didn't wanna leave the floor blank for three weeks but it's OK to leave my living room floor blank for 3 weeks. there's been nothing but disrespect when my wife went off on Khalid he had the balls to tell her over the phone and maybe she just has bad luck. this place is a fucking joke they don't care about you they don't care about your home. all they care about is a dollar and that sale. FUCK ASHLEY FURNITURE

    Great looking furniture, right? It absolutely STINKS!!! Please read on…read more.... I bought a Lazy Boy sofa and loveseat from Rolfson's Home Furnishings, Mount Vernon, Washington, which was delivered on August 23, 2024. The furniture was delivered with a huge odor, so much so that I was unable to sit on it when delivered, and being in the same room with it made me wheeze as I am an asthmatic. With much difficulty involved getting the company to do anything about it at all, the company reluctantly sent the cheapest company out to clean the furniture to abate the smell, which was ineffective, the odor persisting. I have called Rolfson's repeatedly to pursue this matter further but they refuse to return a call to me. It's been 10 weeks and 3 days now and they still refuse to call me back or proactively offer me an additional solution to the intense odor emanating from this furniture. My conjecture is that some animal got into the warehouse and soiled this furniture before it was delivered to me, but the only excuse I received from the store was that it is "offgassing", and not a problem. I've bought lots of furniture in my time and am familiar with "offgassing", and this issue is not this problem. It's much more. As a point to note, I also purchased two Lazy Boy chairs from them at the same time, which smell fine and were able to be used the very first day they were delivered. If it is not a problem, I wouldn't be wheezing, and my family wouldn't have irritated sinuses, runny noses and headaches from being around these pieces. I'm escalating this issue to Lazy Boy corporate now, but my message to all of you is don't buy any furniture from this store. They are apparently a 4 person family run business and when Mr. Rolfson, the owner, is out sick as he has been through some of this ongoing issue, there is no one that is in a position to make decisions on behalf of what is billed to all of us as a fully functioning business during the week. I gave Mr. Rolfson time to return a call to me as if the owner is sick, I am compassionate enough and reasonable enough to wait in good faith for a return call when he returns to the office. It's been 10 weeks and no calls have been returned to me. Surely someone is in charge when the owner is out? Did they shut down the shop? Apparently not as they are still open, transacting business daily, potentially duping any of us. My only assumption is they just don't care once they have your money. It would even have been easy enough for someone to return a call to me to tell me Mr. Rolfson is still out sick, but no.....no calls have been made to me. So, head's up! Do not buy any furniture from this store. If all is going well, things are fine. If there's a problem, they disappear. This is really a shame. I thought better of this company and those working there than to be treated like this. Steer clear, everyone. It's not worth the risk and the aggravation. Best regards to you all.
