When I recently visited, one of the owners greeted me along with another customer as if we were the people he wanted to see the most. I guess that made a big impression because my father had that same trait. On this visit I purchased what I call wall flowers -- pretty ceramic blossoms to hang on the wall to intersperse with other artwork.

The candle selection was amazing, they had a variety of perfumes, locally-themed books, shirts/sweatshirts, handknit hats, and even some gorgeously colored super-bulky yarn. The employee I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Parking is also fairly easy to come by (at least midweek in winter). American Cruise Line brought us here for an excursion. We had a class in glass fusion doing an…read moreocean theme with an orca on a flat glass roughly 6x11". This was an incredible opportunity for learning a new artistic process using glass as a medium. At the end of designing our works, they will be placed in a kiln and heated until the glassware is all fused together. After the appropriate cooling time she will ship our works home to us. The instructor Joanie was very enthusiastic and helpful in assisting us with the process. The shop is also a gallery with works for sale all done here locally, no imported anything. This store is worth a visit as there are many very nicely crafted earrings, notecards, wares from various different local artists.

The owner is knowledgeable in the game department and has offered awesome gift suggestions over the years. Unfortunately rude people come with the territory and I sure am glad I don't have to deal with them! The owner runs a great business and NO I am not related. They allow you to pick exactly what you want in your basket and all of it is as advertised - made in Washington. There are items like smoked salmon, various non-alcoholic beverages, chocolate, candy, cookies, crackers and even dog and cat treats! Each item is priced separately so you can keep a running total as you add things to your basket. Delivery happened just as it should have! There was a small problem with our gift note but as soon as we mentioned it to the company, they immediately sent an email to the recipients to clarify. I can't recommend this company highly enough!

I was under the impression that this organization follows through on commitments…read more I called to book a pickup and was originally told I was "out of the area" and probably wouldn't happen. I am in the same zip code!!! Finally talked to an "informed person" and got this scheduled. In the mean time another volunteer called to schedule (which was already done). Apparently lack of communication is a real problem amongst these volunteers. I worked very hard to make it simplier to take my items and don't appreciate the efforts I've made to be wasted, I don't have the luxury of free time, I need to move ASAP! On the day of the pick up (scheduled between 9-12), no one arrived. Then the call came it would be 1:30-2:00. That also didn't happen. Again, Dave called and cancelled completely too much stuff already in the store. Why didn't they notice that before agreeing to take my stuff in the first place. Unprofessional and rude to say the least! Suggestion: Don't accept assignments if you don't have the time or space to follow through. I rather doubt homeowners are calling and scheduling unless there is a real need for your services! Very disappointed in this organization and highly recommend if you need the services in a timely manner, best to look elsewhere.
