We have actually bought most, if not all, of our furniture here since we moved into Augusta and have a much bigger house than we had before. We are awaiting delivery on a few pieces, and had a couple delivered already. Customer service: we were won over by Rasheem's professionalism on the first visit and we specifically go to him now when we're in. The other employees are also all friendly, professional and great! Furniture quality: so far, so good. We've loved what we've gotten and it all seems built to last! Delivery and assembly: delivery guys were really nice, bit of a language barrier but very courteous with lots of smiles all around. They were in and out in probably under five minutes; I couldn't believe how fast they worked. They cleaned up every bit of dust they left behind, which I was pleasantly surprised by. Prices: there's always some sort of sale going on, and if you ask they're usually willing to extend them a little. Ask what your options are and look around. So, I highly recommend Ashley. You get what you pay for, and this is good value for pretty dang decent furniture. You're not bleeding out your wallet, so sure, you're not getting like handmade Amish furniture or something. But you are getting stuff that's going to last and look good. read more

Review for Ashley Furniture I had a very disappointing experience picking up furniture from this location. At no point was I told that no assistance whatsoever would be provided when picking up my items. To be clear, I am not talking about strapping furniture down or loading it into my truck or trailer. I'm referring to simply removing the furniture from the sales floor and wheeling it out of the building. The table I purchased was located near the front of the store. The nearest and most logical exit was approximately 15 feet away, yet I was directed to take the furniture all the way to the very back of the building. The back door did not have a double door, which made maneuvering large furniture unnecessarily difficult. I was pointed to where the dolly was located and told it was entirely my responsibility to move, load, and locate everything. I was also told that the salesperson from the previous day was "supposed" to take items to the back, but that did not happen, and no one could clearly explain what the actual policy was. What made the situation worse was that one salesperson openly spoke poorly about the salesperson from the previous day, which was extremely unprofessional. I will say that Mark was kind and helpful yesterday, but today it felt like once the money was collected, the customer service was over. There was no verification of what I was loading--no checking of items or confirmation of purchase. Honestly, I could have loaded any furniture I wanted without anyone noticing. To add to the frustration, once we got the furniture outside, the door was locked behind us, and there was no way back into the building except to walk all the way around the storefront to reach my vehicle. I seriously considered requesting a refund but chose not to because I had secured a clearance deal and already had someone driving over an hour with a covered trailer to haul the furniture. The customer service was absolutely unacceptable. The manager, Alexis, was extremely rude to my fiancée--making condescending remarks like "you're wasting your time calling corporate" and "we're just trying to help you," complete with an eye roll and an attitude. The most unprofessional comment of all? "You can call corporate, but I have a meeting to get to." That says everything about how little they value their customers. We bought a dresser and chest set after seeing them online and thinking it looked like a good deal. Spoiler: it wasn't. The quality is terrible--cheap materials that look like they were ordered off Temu. When we tried to return the items, we were told they "don't do refunds" and that they could only offer replacements. That's not what we want we want our money back. We've been calling corporate for two days and keep getting the same runaround. No help, no accountability, and certainly no care for their customers. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. Wednesday April 16th we had to dressers delivered to our home. The delivery team dropped them in the home and left and did not wait for us to open them to see if there was any damages. Upon opening them we noticed both dressers have damages and are covered in dirt. We called corporate and I spoke someone who said that "the store dominated the purchase" and we need to take it up with the store. Upon going to the store we spoke to the Manager, Alexis. She came out of her office sighing, had her blouse open to where you could see her cleavage, and her hands down her pants. I then said hi I'm Payton are you the manager and extended my hand to shake her hand. She then said "yeah I'm Alexis" and shook my hand. When we explained to her what happened she kept repeating "I'm Florida" as if that was supposed to be intimidate us. She then refused to talk to me and would only speak to my fiancé. I stepped aside and called corporate again where I spoke to another woman who heard the verbal abuse and disrespect portrayed by the management. Some of the following were comments by the manager (Alexis): 1. You paid $600 for two dressers that's not bad, i have ikea furniture in my home and it's not great furniture it's similar to this furniture what did you expect for $600. 2. I can give you a credit, my fiance then said well you need to talk to her because her parents bought it as a housewarming gift for us, she looked me up and down, i said i don't want to a credit if this is how I'm going to be treated I'd rather return the items get my money back and be done, she then rolled her eyes and shooed my off as if i was unimportant to her. 3. She told us she didn't have time to help us because she has to get on a call. 4. She said infront of a store of people, she's wasting her time talking to corporate I'm just trying to help you and rolled her eyes at my fiancé. 5. We told her we would bring the furniture back to the store in the boxes and we could dispute the charges with Amex and she said, you go head and try that i have Amex too and I'll make sure you still get charged. Mind you our furniture we received is unusable the drawers for the dresser are broken! We can't use it but she wants to keep our $600? That may not seem like a lot of money to you but as two military personnel who don't make a lot of money that is a lot of money. The women on the phone from corporate who heard all this then asked for her name and told us to leave and they would take care of us. So we left. Never got a call back from corporate or a supervisor to handle the issue. Next day Thursday, we are still dealing with this issue I talk to Shamika and she tells me they are going to get this handled and call me back with return info. I get a text three hours later claiming they can't return the products but they will deliver new products. That is not what we want. After the way we have been treated and disrespected I want the products out of my home and my money returned and we can go separate ways. I call the number back for corporate and try to tell them that an exchange is not what me and Shamika discussed and i don't want that. Someone named Cameron answers and refuses to patch me Shamika and gives me this email instead to write a complaint. I'm applauded at the fact that this is how Ashely runs their business. There should be no reason why at this point with everything we've been put through that I can't return the damaged items you sent me and get my money back. This seems to be a common thing with this store because over 20+ google reviews of people saying the manage is disrespectful and they send out damaged items all the time and refuse to return them. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! My husband and I paid in full for a table and four bar stools. We had to wait almost two months for delivery but I understand with the virus they may have gotten backed up. When they were delivered every piece of furniture has something wrong with it. We are getting the run around about having it replaced or fixed. No one calls you back. They hope you just go away. The staff at this store is fine (they're salesmen after all so they'll be nice) but the real hassle with Ashley furniture is the time it takes to get your purchases & the atrocious customer service. I purchased a couch, dining set, & bed frame from here. It took FIVE months to get everything after they said it would be at most 2! The first time they tried delivering & assembling my bed frame they didn't bring any of the hardware to put it together then tried leaving the pile of wood in my master bedroom. They said they'd order to parts & I could put it together myself (not what I paid extra for). I had them take the bed back & deliver another one a month later that magically had the hardware. About 7 months later a bag of hardware came in the mail so at least I would've been able to assemble the bed myself a year after purchasing! On top of all that, the couch & ottoman I ordered was delivered without the legs! And since I didn't notice this immediately customer service said I can get a quote to purchase them (even though I already paid way too much for this furniture). I had pre planned deliveries cancelled the day of prior to holidays. I also was given many empty promises of a partial refund &, of course, that didn't happen. I was called after i placed A review on yelp and told please come in and pick out any mattress I wanted. They wanted to make me happy. When I got there they were all smiles. They took me to the back for me to pick out my new mattress so I picked out a mattress but it cost less than the Tempur-pedic I bought they said I could have that mattress but they couldn't give me any money back so they wanted me to pay $3500 for an $1100 mattress. This is a terrible place to buy products from. Of course when I told them that their salesman, Tim told me if the tempu-pedic mattress didn't help my back I could just call and they would come and get it. And refund my money!! My experience with Ashley Homestore has not been so good. I purchased what was told me to be a dinning room set. The set was advertised on the showroom floor as a table and 6 chairs. I have now had the furniture for less then a year. One chare is broken. Screws are falling out of the other five chairs. The chairs are also discontinued. As a result to the broken furniture, I contacted the service and warranty center, to get the items fixed. Ashley Homestore has told me that the broken chair cannot be repaired. Additionally, the chair was not part of a set. For that reason, the only thing they can do is give me store credit. Basically, Ashley has engaged in false advertising in order to sell discontinued furniture. Now, they do not want to honor their warranty. My furniture still fit within the manufacture warranty and extended warranty. Because of this horrible business practice, I am stuck with broken furniture that is less then a year old and a worthless warranty. read more

We purchased an entire homes worth of furniture after our recent move here, and working with Christopher was an absolute treat! He was available without being too clingy, and was super patient while I changed my mind several times on pieces. He was detail focused, and made sure all of our delivery information was perfect and we had everything we needed before we left the store. He even followed up to confirm our satisfaction after our first delivery had arrived. The men that delivered the furniture were prompt, efficient and very careful while bringing larger items through doorways and around corners. Visited the store about two weeks ago in search of a kitchen table. Sales representative Jacqueline (Jackie) Glenn greeted us with a smile and hello. After a brief introduction we went to our neutral corners. I asked for a ruler at some point and she gladly found one. The search for a table continued and off we went to other stores. We returned on 21 May 2016 and requested Jackie as our associate because of my initial impression of her. Again she greeted us and we returned to our neutral corners. When we were ready to purchase she was in close proximity. Jackie was fully qualified to address all of our issues and concerns. She does not get the sales person; stalking or pressure award today. She is very pleasant, soft spoken, honest and attentive. In my old age I truly hate shopping when there are so many options available. I have tried calling Customer Care multiple times with no success. I have had multiple issues in ordering my couch. The first is that Ashley Home Store charged my card 3 times when it was supposed to be charged only once (pictured). It stayed this way for a week and half, putting me $1500 over my credit limit and prohibiting me from using my card, despite the fact they were pending charges. I tried to report fraud to my bank account, but I couldn't even do that because they were pending. There is absolutely no reason for charging someone three times for one transaction, and having it hold on my card for that long. Regardless of the fact they were pending, I couldn't access that money. Secondly, when my sectional was delivered today, the movers broke my pot and plant and didn't even say anything. I went to check the mail and found my pot on the ground shattered (pictured). I checked my doorbell camera, and have timestamped the mover arriving and leaving, where you can see my pot broken when he was leaving. I would like to know the process for filing a claim and getting compensation for this. No, I don't want a discount, because I will no longer be doing business with Ashley Home Store. We met Kim and she along with her managers and coworkers and I have to say they were all fantastic and made this very tough process easy and enjoyable!! Prices were good, quality has always been good and Kim really rolled out the red carpet making us feel like we were the only ones in the store and even was great with our kids. I purchased furniture from Ashley Home Store. I asked if they would remove my old furniture and was told yes. When it was delivered I asked the delivery folks to take the old furniture out to my garage, they said that they don't do that. I offered them $20.00 each they told me $40.00....but I'm thought they didn't remove the old furniture so the delivery guys tried to make money on me. They have nice furniture but a lot of it is over priced. We found the same bedroom set at an Ashley dealer for $800 less, deliver was half the price of ashley's as well. Their customer service is also hit or miss. I called one night for a price on said bedroom set above. I spoke to a sales person who said he would call me back ASAP with a quote. I was in the other store debating on getting the bedroom set there. He never called me back. 2 hours later, the husband and I went into the store and saw said sales person standing around chit chatting....I walked right up to the bedroom set and checked the price myself and was glad I made the right decision and went with the other furniture store. Moving from the West coast we decided to purchase quality furniture rather than pay moving costs, so we found living room furniture that we liked at Ashley's Homestore. Our daughter had gotten a nice sofa and rocker/recliner from them about 3 years ago and we liked what she got, so we ordered the same pieces. Ashley's immediately had to replace the sofa, because the deliverers ripped the bottom lining when delivering. My daughter's sofa has Velcro to keep the cushions from sliding forward. Ours does not! In the 2 months we've had the recliner, the left side arm cushion is flowing over the left side leaving the wooden frame next to the body only covered by a thin piece of material. The leg raiser only goes up half way. I will NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY'S again! All we got was JUNK!!! read more

They bring a dented table then try to spray paint it in my home! Then don't want to exchange it. You dented it! My children's beds are pealing. It's supposed to be solid wood. Not sure whats going on with Ashley's Furniture ONLINE store but no one is available to speak with! I've left several messages, I've sent online text through it's virtual assistant, I've even called the store-in which they redirect me back to the same online phone number 1-866-436-3393 in which NO ONE picks up OR returns your call. I've placed two separate orders online several weeks ago one for a queen foundation and the second for a twin mattress. One order has finally showed up (the queen foundation) the other order I have no ideal where its at or whats going on. Ashley Furniture's customer service SUCKS. Never will place another order again through their online service. This also affects their In-store services. As a paying customer whether in store or online it makes the entire chain look bad. You've just lost a customer. Hopefully when I can get through to speak with a live customer service rep. I will be canceling my order and take my business elsewhere. Newly moved to Augusta and went to this store and purchased a dinning table and chairs. It took them 12 days to deliver ( they charge you for the delivery ) and when it arrived, they delivery guy said he is missing screws for the table, so I had to refuse it and he said he will bring me another one. It took them another ten days to finally bring all the pieces. I wasn't happy with my the dinning table and had to exchange it with a mattress. It took me another 10 days to finally have the matters. I made the exchange over the phone and requested them to send me a receipt in my email, they said yes, but never did. Byron is definitely their best sales rep! We went in on a Saturday just looking and he was not pushy at all just professional and answering our questions. We bought from mattress firm instead (worst mistake in the history of mistakes) came back and Byron remembered us and price matched an offer we saw from Home Depot. He wasn't snarky about it or questioning us he just politely verified with his boss that he could match it for us. It was the smoothest transaction I have had with any furniture store. Do not ever shop here or support this company. They do not honor deliver dates and do little to make it right. I had a delivery scheduled for a Sunday, but did not receive my confirmation call so I decided to call and check. Upon calling, the rep discovered my delivery showed up as just estimated date and they actually forgot to schedule it. I told them it was important that I receive my item on the day I had scheduled it for but after going up the chain it was all just "nothing we can do about it". You have to track them down in Fort Mill S.C. in hopes they will not lie to you. They will do things on there time and no matter what if you get frustrated and want to cancel your order, they will still hit you with that 10% restocking fee. I was in the process of moving. I happened to be visiting from Atlanta and was just browsing. The sales people are really laid back and not pushy. They will greet you at the door, give you a sales flyer and offer to help if you need it. Then you're free to wander. I ended up looking at bedroom suites and found one I liked. It had a special for 5 years financing with no interest (as long as you pay it off by the 5th year). I ended up purchasing a bedroom suite for the first time in my life. They followed up to make sure my delivery was set up. And 2 hours later I got a call from their shipping center to tell me it was already loaded on a truck and would be delivered within a 3 hour window of the delivery time. Over all a great experience. My fiance and I purchased a 3 piece sectional and coffee table from Ashley Furniture on 5/21/19. At the time of the purchasing the furniture, the associate Chris (who was GREAT) told us that the middle piece of the sofa and the coffee table would not be delivered on the same day as the other 2 pieces of the couch. We were ok with this because the 2 pieces of the sofa that were scheduled for delivery first could be put together and it would still look like a sectional until the 3rd piece came (they actually sell a 2 piece sectional in this style). The first 2 pieces of our sectional were scheduled to arrive on 6/8/19 between 12pm-3pm and the 2 pieces of our sectional were on the truck. We received a call at 3 from the driver stating they would be there closer to 5pm. We told him that we had a wedding to attend and that we had to leave at 5:30pm. The driver gets to our home at 4:50pm and it had just started raining. He calls us from outside in his truck stating that he cannot deliver our furniture because his shoes will get wet and that water is going over his shoes. We asked him to back into the driveway because he was parked on a hill (probably why water was going over his shoe since it was going down hill). He refused to get out of his truck and LEFT with our furniture. An associate called us and said that we would have to reschedule delivery on Monday after 2pm and was VERY rude about it. On the 9th I call customer service and they agree to make arrangments to have our furniture delivered on the 10th. The furniture comes, however the 2 pieces that we were supposed to receive (2 parts of the sectional) were not there.... instead it was the middle piece (that was supposed to be delivered later) and the right side of the sectional. I called Ashley to see why we were delivered the wrong pieces, when the correct pieces were on the truck on the 8th? They stated that the piece we were SUPPOSED to receive was likely given to another customer. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?!?!?!? Fast Forward to 6/18/19- we receive the other half of our sectional and our lift top coffee table. However, THE COFFEE TABLE WAS BROKEN. They asked if we wanted someone to come fix it or if we wanted it sent back and get a new one.... Obviously we want a new one since it's a brand new table, so we sent it back. I called customer service and they told me it would be another 7 days before they could deliver a new coffee table to me. I told them I wanted to just cancel it because they had done nothing but cause headaches. The associate then tried to tell me that they would charge me 10% to cancel the table. I explained to her that there would be no need to cancel the table, had they not brought us a broken one in the first place. The associate then stated if we wanted a new one delivered that she would make a note that the delivery team inspect the table before putting it on the truck..... I told her that the delivery team SHOULD BE DOING THAT WITH EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE THEY DELIVER EVERYDAY. The associate then stated that she would make note of me not agreeing to the 10% charge. I call back later that day in hopes of talking to someone else. Luckily I did and she told us we would be refunded the total amount of the table.... this was on 6/19/19..... On 6/30/19 we still had not been refunded the amount of the table to our card, so I called Ashley Furniture again. They connected me to the local store who HAD NOT EVEN PROCESSED OUR RETURN YET. Luckily, our salesperson Chris got it processed ASAP and refunded. The customer service from Ashley Furniture is the worst I've ever seen. They show no remorse for taking people's money and lying about deliveries. I will never step foot in another Ashley Furniture store for the rest of my life and I plan on making sure none of our family or friends do either. read more

We placed our order almost 2 weeks ago for dining room table. They sent us a text saying the item would be delivered today. They gave us a three hour window in which it will arrive. We got a call today at the last minute saying the item will not be delivered and won't be till delivered until five days later. Mind you we do not have a table right now as we got the item would be delivered when they told us it would be. My husband took off work to be here when it will be delivered. Our son is special needs and we rearranged his occupational therapy in order for us to be here when it comes. Our son also doesn't have a table to sit at, who thrives on routine.
