We all have that place (or places) that we know even with a list, even with a set item in mind that we will walk out with more than we planned. For me it's usually bakeries. What's another doughnut or fritter or slice of cake? Anyway, at home is also one such place for me. I learned of its existence (as a business) a few years ago while my in-law's were visiting and mentioned how great it is. Let me go ahead and warn you that if it's your first visit, don't plan any appointments for the rest of the day. You're going to be awhile. It is all aspects of home; inside and out. Patio, porch, furniture, prints, mirrors, snacks, pillows (lots and lots of pillows). I love the organization aspect, including grouping by color (see aforementioned pillows). And in regards to my last visit, I went in for some fake flowers. You know, maybe $20 at most right? Nay. Walked out with breaking the $100 mark. Bench cover, pillows, print, and yes fake flowers. The at home store is a part of a chain. They have a selection of decor items and other goods for the kitchen, bathroom, garden, and other areas of the home. I spent a good deal of time in the garden area. They were great selections on patio furniture, planters, fire, pits, and outdoor fountains. They were plenty of linens and towels, and other decor items for the bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen section was well stocked with a lot of well priced items. I also found some nice items of home decor, including artificial plants, shower, curtains, side, chairs, etc. the store was clean, although there were not many staff persons around to answer questions. They also have a loyalty program. All the sections were well stocked and looked to be well-maintained. The store was very neat and items were well displayed. read more

This home goods store is on the edge of town and was pretty large. The selection didn't really grab me; there was definitely some fluff and I didn't see a ton of core items that I needed. The checkout wasn't quite as good as at HomeGoods, with only one person working. It's a place to hunt for deals and I found something, but not a ton of things. read more

Nasty, unstocked bathrooms. Cashier didn't respond when told! Almost no toilet paper in women's bathroom, and men's smelled like pree.

Whatever the season, whatever, holiday or event is coming up, they have you covered! I have been a customer of at home for least a decade. They have always been my go to for Halloween and Christmas decor. They always have something unique to spark my interest get my creative juices flowing. I have purchased many things from them over the years. For years I have lusted over the 20 foot inflatable Santa and snowman.... my second husband of six months (For 22 years has never had an inflatable decoration on his property) told me I should order them. I did, and I regret nothing. it even got my husband stamp of approval. I do wish it came with more/better stakes. At Home has never disappointed me. They always have really cool deals and what you do purchase Is based on the quality. They often say the cheap comes out expensive, not so true or accurate for At Home. I'm not saying that they don't occasionally take a hard left crazy turn but for the most part I enjoy shopping here and always for something specific and happily they usually have it in stock. I'm on the fence about my recommendation for this store. I am a perks member, credit card holder and a veteran. I've been shopping here since moving to the area about three years ago. I went in there to make what I consider a large purchase (almost 400 dollars). I took my picks to the counter and was told my VA card was no longer accepted by a new manager who was helping to checkout due to short staffing. She recommended I go to the local military base (as Augusta is a military town) and get a different one. She was rude and dismissive. I left the store after wasting an hour and half feeling very humiliated and embarrassed. I wrote an to management and they called themselves rectifying the situation by offering me the same 10 percent they should have given me in the first place. I rejected it and then they called me back offering 25 percent off. I went to purchase my rug and the other items even though I felt like they should have offered more. They told me they were in the process of no longer accepting veterans (in a military town) and that active duty soldiers would only be able to use the discount. Policy is policy and I understand that but there is a way to go about situations. So my take away is that if you're a veteran, it pretty much means nothing to this establishment anymore. I love this place. I first found this place when I lived in Virginia. It's like Home Goods on crack. The difference between this store and Home Goods is that you can get several like items. If it's not in the store, you can also order online. You will definitely buy more than planned. I think this store is priced fair. If price is a problem, just wait for a sale. read more

This is what the Augusta at home looked like at 10:00am in the morning on August 1st, 2019. I told the cashier and she was not interested to know that time of morning the bathroom (womens) was horrible, nasty and looked as if it had not been cleaned in days maybe weeks. The store is located in the building Burlington used to occupy. I ventured in with some friends to look around. It's a huge store covering every room in the home to include the outdoor space. It's a garden lovers dream. I almost want to say it's a much larger version of a HomeGoods store but more expensive with some items equal in quality while other items are better at HGs. I expected more I have to say. To be fair, some shelves and aisles appear to be missing things so I'm assuming they are still getting the store together. It's not bare but just feels like organization is still ongoing in some areas. I will say, you can find just about anything you want and a few things you didn't know you wanted. It is worth the visit and I'll go back again if I know specifically what I want. I'm only giving them 3 stars because it's just ok. I'm probably in HGs once a week or two but I don't know that I'd come here as often. I think I'll give them another month to see if there's more to offer and amend the review if needed. read more

Great store, it's like HomeGoods and Hobby Lobby in one big store. The only downfall is many items are on very high shelves so you'll need to find someone to assist you to get some items which can slow down your shopping process. But all in all very good addition to Augusta Home Decor shopping. read more
