She did not try to help me and my concerns, she said that when I scheduled my delivery that was it and I could make no changes even though I never confirmed the delivery when they sent me the email and I had been calling since Saturday and been on hold 2 hours and left voicemails and still no call back. I drove all the way to the store to get this resolved and all she said was I can schedule it after Thursday wow that's all you can do for me after driving up here and never hitting confirm on the delivery date. I will never ever recommend this store to anyone. My time is precious and my money is valuable and you people need training on customer service! I will never shop here ever again. We are extremely disappointed with our recent experience with this Ashley HomeStore location in Arlington, TX. Over the past two years, we have purchased several full room sets of furniture for three homes. We have always been pleased not only with the price and quality, but also with the service. Recently, we went in and purchased two rugs and were in the process of getting them loaded into our vehicle. We got one loaded and were waiting on the second one. The rep came out and informed us that the 2nd rug we had purchased was actually more than we already paid. I signed the invoice indicating that we picked up one rug and had not taken the other. We left to make dinner reservations with clients. On our drive, my wife called the store and requested to speak to the store manager. Three different people represented themselves as such, to include the sales rep who sold us the rugs, and not only were they unable/unwilling to honor the price they had originally charged us, which we already paid, but they became extremely flippant about the issue they created. Mistakes can happen and that's understandable. What's not acceptable is the manner in which that management team, and I use that loosely, decided NOT to handle it. So long from this former customer. Buyer Beware. The old bait and switch is alive and well with this particular store. ***Update Apr 2020*** After having a separate piece of furniture serviced 3 times for the same issue in 9 months, it has become abundantly clear that not only is there no oversight on store managers, there is also no such thing as quality control. Terrible Rude Delivery people, who scratched my table, my 4 chairs/stools were loose, and the table makes noises and bends when you lightly lean on it. I'm very compassionate/understanding but this is too much. First delivery, one of the guys was really mad and rude and threw my furniture around, which scratched it. Second delivery, the guy was with inexperienced kids, who bumped into my stair rails and loosened them, said he had to leave my online order outside but he was being nice by bringing them into the house entrance, they arrived very anxious and in a hurry at 838AM instead of 9AM-12PM as they stated, BUT THE WORST was that he didn't have a pen for me to use to sign the paper, expecting me to have one, and said something about he is just a delivery person or something like that, which my response was for him to take everything back. With no hesitation or response, he took the items back. I'd rather spend my $10,000+ somewhere else. Don't support these type of businesses that have no concern for their customers' happiness. Another update. Ashley's homestore promised that we would have our furniture by October, this was in July. I asked for the manager who came over and again promised us early October. Well, when it didn't arrive they said the end of December. I messaged them a couple of days ago and now they are saying end of January. What a racket! #1 - We were lied to. #2 - the couch we purchased had repeated problems with the cushions. Ashley's did replace them once, even replacing the couch at one point. The same repairman that came out for several of our reported claims said this couch has the same problems. It was not made correctly and there will always be an issue with the cushions. He had replaced a lot of them but always ends up with the same problem of the cushions near the couch arms always dips down hill and also seems to be coming loose of the frame (?). When the couch is upright the cushion seat pushes out, like it is squishing downward. Now we are told the Premium Repair Warranty we purchased does not cover the cushions. Another lie from the Ashley's Representative who told us that warranty covered everything! Ashley's sells junk and does not back up its furniture. Getting that couch replaced at one point took hours on the phone and finally being connected with a manager. We are evidently going to be forced to spend good hard earned money on another couch from a more reputable store - like Havertys! The saying is true.... You get what you pay for. read more

Horrible experience. The sales associate ordered the wrong bedroom set. I was the one that caught the mistake by verifying what I was signing for. Then they have to redo all my paperwork. I was scheduled to get a delivery on 06/28/23, they called me and canceled my order. Said I need to contact the store. Literally the worst experience I've ever had purchasing furniture. The sales associates flat out lie about when your furniture will be available. Latti looked me in my eyes, allowed me to apply for a line of credit knowing that the BED I wanted was on back order. I went in February needing my items my April 19 th and am now being told that I have an "Estimated" delivery date of JUNE!!!! I am very frustrated and not happy with the customer service we have received from their warranty staff. We bought a couch 11 months ago and it stopped working. We called 3 weeks ago to put in a warranty claim and no one has called us back. We have called 4 times over the last 3 weeks with no response from their service staff. They always say someone will reach out to you in 24 hours but guess what ......... no one calls you back to set up a time to come address the issue. I was reluctant to give Ashley Furniture a second chance after my first time shopping there and the issues we had, but the gift card they gave me played in the equation. Walking through the door, you are approached by someone that is staged like a used car salesman waiting for their "up". The sales person (Lati) was the only good part of this transaction. I was offered a price on a bedroom set on Saturday but was tight on time. Said I would come in Monday, which I did. On Monday, the "sale" had ended so they couldn't offer the same price. I demanded that she go get her manager. He came over, didn't acknowledge me, and didn't even speak to me. He picked up the IPad typed for a minute, handed it to the sales person, and said "best we can do. Take it or leave it". Despite my reservations, I bought a queen size bed, two night stands, mattress, and box spring for $2000. I asked if the items were in stock, and was adamant that I needed the set by 5/28 which was 17 days away. Assuming everything was good, I left. Here we are at 5/28 and I haven't gotten any calls or emails about my bedroom set. I called to get a status and the automated system said in a cheery voice that my order would be ready in 5-6 weeks. I hit the button to talk to an agent who was a person of very few words saying "they" are telling her I won't get my order for weeks. No offer to do anything or to assist. I am extremely saddened and disappointed in the level service I received in your Arlington store this evening. I came in to inquire about getting a refund on a mattress I still have yet to receive after being told it usually takes less than a week. The manager was not helpful and acted as if he had better things to do. Our conversation ended with him asking me to repeat what he said to make sure I understood him as if I were a child. This would have been a five star review if it weren't for the horrible customer service we received after our purchase. During the purchase of our furniture, over $10K worth, we were asked several times if we would like to purchase the 5 year protection plan. Each time he asked we said yes. We purchased the furniture and went home. The furniture was delivered not very timely due to availability and purchased the premium white glove service in which was not honored at delivery of the furniture. When called customer service they took all my information and gave me a ticket number and that I would be receive a call within 24 to 36 hours but never did. I called 3 days later and gave them my ticket number and then they stated that my request was denied. I requested a a refund for the difference of my white glove service that I paid for and they stated that they weren't able to provide that until 72 hours and for I to call back and when I did they tried to open up another ticket to provide me with that service but I still requested my refund and they stated that I would be getting a call back from one of the supervisors and guess what - no call back. Manager Mary told us they gave us wrong information and that they would be coached on that. 3100.00 later and she says sorry but they cannot help us. He expressed concern and said he was waiting on a call back from inspector and would let me know when my credit was available. WARRANTY SCAMMED. I purchased a warranty and was told that if I didn't use it for repairs, I would get my money back. NO! NO! NO! You ma'am, you must purchase $500 worth of furniture because we give you back your $125. And there was nothing I could do about it besides say, ok! I walked in the door. I was greeted by a salesperson. She asked if she could help, I showed her the ad that said I can get a $50 gift card for attending my scheduled appointment. I was immediately referred to another salesperson. That was two weeks ago and still no $50. She wasn't interested in helping although she was sitting so nothing. Sorry, this last problem that saddens me... I purchased a table. The ad said 20% off everything. Yet I was charged full price. I asked why, they said it was because you were using your $125 credit. I am giving this store a 1 star review but only because I have too and warning others not to shop here. Johnny the Manager should be fired - he has no follow up nor customer service skills. I visited this store on 6/23 and after spending several hours here decided to purchase a King Bedroom set that was on display in their store - EFFIE KING STORAGE BED, DRESSER AND NIGHTSTAND. Michael was the sales rep that helped me and was very helpful in order to get the sale. I specifically discussed with him that this set (which was a storage bed and didn't need a box spring) would be perfect for my vacation home as i needed the additional storage and would not have to buy a box spring for it either. I was informed by him that my furniture should be ready sometime in July. Now let's fast foward three months. The order kept getting pushed out beginning in July and kept moving it out weeks until finally in September was given another date. Once they confirm they start sending you emails and calling you to validate the delivery time. As stated above this was my vacation house and they had the wrong address for delivery - right city but my regular address. I began by calling the customer service number - on hold for at least 45 minutes and once they answer they tell you they can't help and have to transfer - another hour and guess what same thing - ABSOLUTELY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER - non stop runaround and pat answer is I can't help you but will connect you to the right person - never do. I finally decided to call the Tyler store and speak to the Manager who was extremely helpful - he changed the address and was able to schedule the delivery for 9/23. Since this is a vacation house my daughter who lives out there (2 hours away for me) met the delivery team. She sent me a picture and it looked like what i ordered albeit with no night stand. She did comment that the bed looked low but I told her it didn't need a box spring per Michael at the store. Due to covid I was not able to visit my vacation house until 10/22. I immediatley noticed that the furniture they delivered was not what I ordered. It was the same brand but it was only a panel bed with no storage and needs a box spring. I immediatly called customer service and after being on hold for 30 minutes was told I had to bring it up with the store where i purchased the furniture - absolutely nothing that their customer service could do. She did tell me she would leave a message for the store manager to call me. 4 days later no call. I then called the store and Michael the rep that sold me the furniture answered the phone. I explained what happened that they entered the wrong item into their system and it was not what i thought i ordered - he remembered me but said he had to talk to his manager and put me on hold. He came back and said his Manager Johnny said there was nothing they could do. WHAT?? their fault but nothing they can do really. I then asked to speak to Johnny who did not want to talk to me but finally agreed to get on the phone. By this time I am pretty pissed off by the total lack of taking ownership for their mistake. After going back and forth with him he finally say's he will see what can be done. I told him i would text him the pictures i took in his store the day I purchased the furniture and that i had no problem paying anything additional I just wanted what i thought i ordered. He assured me he would call me back that was on 10/27. After not hearing anything I sent him a text on 11/2 asking for an update - NO RESPONSE. On 11/5 sent another text as there was no response again he said he would call me back - today is 11/9 still no reponse from him. In the interim I received a call from the Tyler store from Ally regarding the delivery of my nightstand - they had the wrong address again. I ended up filling her in on the issues I was having and she said she would talk to the district manager - Ashleigh and see what she could do or have someone call me back. As of today nada, nothing, no response back from them. They have lost a customer and I would never recommend them to anyone. Their Corporate office needs to take a good look at their overall customer experience - mine has been horrible. I also forgot to mention I paid for this furniture in full in June. We have some wonderful furniture from here. Unfortunately, our living room furniture we purchased has not held up well and did not look good even after a week of having it. We are actually embarrassed to have it in our house. We bought thousands of dollars of furniture here and after 10 months, it looks as though we have had it ten years. We have no children and very small pets. We have always treated our furniture well and this is just awful. I have written both corporate and customer care and I hope something can be done. The rest of our furniture has held up beautifully and we love it. The sofa, loveseat, and chair are just a poorly made product. read more

I will never shop at Ashley furniture again. I've been going back and forth with the store in Arlington Texas since Tuesday April 2, 2024. The delivery driver came to drop off the bedroom set and brought the wrong headboard and he advised me after bringing the stuff in my house that he had put the hardware in the nose of the truck. He would have to off load the truck and come back. DeMarcus did not return until 8:45pm and told me at that time that he would not be able to put the bed together. After going to the location speaking with Meagan who is the manager and does not know how to do her job, 7 days later we still do not have the bedroom set put together! They have been no help. I've contacted customer service, I've been to the store multiple times, I've escalated the issue. At this point the furniture is taking up space in my house. We have decided we are packing this set up and dropping it off at the front door tomorrow morning. We don't care what happens to it. I haven't signed for anything therefore it does not belong to me. I have already stopped payment with my CC company as we never received the product. I can see exactly why this location has a 1 star rating. Horrible. read more

The sales experience in store was wonderful, I felt that the associate who helped us was attentive, however everything after that point was downhill. The customer service on the phone and everything afterwards from the associates was just appalling. No one knows who does what, and they argue with each other while the customer gets the short end of the stick. I ordered a bed frame, with rails, footboard, and headboard. My delivery date was set for the 23rd of December. It is January 9th, and my bed frame is still incomplete after over 4 hours on the phone with customer service, and talking with the GM of this location. My sales associate assured me that the pieces we had ordered for my bed frame would all fit. He ordered Cal King rails + footboard and a King headboard. He even double checked with a manager on shift to confirm that they would fit. I also paid the extra $40 as well to have them install it for me. On December 23rd, the delivery drivers were not only rude, but they outright refused to install the bed frame, despite the delivery being labeled as Premium. Not only did they refuse the installation, but they signed off on the delivery themselves. When I checked my electronic signature because they had given me nothing to sign, there was simply a line where my signature should have been. Absolutely unacceptable. It took another three hours to get another tech to come out and install it, and this tech had to stop halfway through because Ashely's had either ordered the wrong pieces, or sent the wrong parts, because the slats wouldn't fit within the rails. This tech didn't even leave a note stating that there was a problem with installation, in fact he said "the issue with the customer has been resolved." Then I was on the phone with customer service, once again, where the representative said she was going to call the distribution center and call me back in 10 minutes. Another hour went by with no call back. I had to call customer service, yet again. The previous representative, like everyone at this point, had made no notes on my account, so I had to explain the entire situation to this rep, again. This rep told me that if I heard nothing from Ashley's by the end of that night, to email her and she would create a ticket. Of course, I got no call by the end of that day. My mattress is sitting on the floor in an unfinished, $2k bed frame. I gave the representative an email saying I wasn't contacted, and she submitted a ticket for an exchange. Three days go by with nothing, and I'm checking in every day. Then, after the New Year, she emails me back saying that a store manager at this location "didn't agree" that my slats were the wrong size, and cancelled the ticket. Despite the fact I had sent literal pictures of the incorrect parts, and Ashely's own techs could not install this bed frame properly. This is where I got very upset. At this point, I go back up to the store because it has been two weeks with these people giving me the run around on a $2,000 piece of furniture. I went through the holidays with this issue. Their customer service department has no idea what they're doing, and they just don't care about what happens to you. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ASHLEY'S!!! I spoke to the General Manager at this location, and apparently, that day was the first day that she had even been aware of this issue. She said she had been on vacation. She showed me that someone had initialed off on my interactions with them up until this point, but when I asked her who it was, she said she didn't know. She submitted my exchange, but the earliest that they could do it was Jan. 10th. That means it would take 18 DAYS to complete my installation. That's insane. I asked the General Manager who we needed to speak to so we could move the exchange to that same week, and she said she didn't know. Overall, this has been an awful experience. I will never purchase from Ashley's again. I'm also filing a complaint with the BBB, of which they have a 1.0 star rating. It's obvious why. read more

I am posting this as a highly unsatisfied customer. I typically don't post negative reviews. I have been sold unfulfilled promises, false information, poor customer services, and lack of communication. I ordered my furniture on August 10, 2020. On that day I ordered nearly $12,000 worth of furniture for my new home. On the 10th of August when ordering. I was told that I would have separate delivery dates due to one item showing a delay. I was told the first portion would be delivered the first week of September. I was told the second order would be delivered September 15. The final order portion the Small Desk (H633-34) was supposed to be delivered on October 5 at the latest. I received the first delivery the first week of September. When checking on my second delivery on September 14, I was told my Sales Associate(Eric Toops) was on vacation and would get back with me. When getting back with me he told me that I would have to wait due to all items not being in. This is unacceptable when I was told September 15 these items would be in. Sadly, October 5th has passed, and I still had not gotten my second delivery. I had to call the store to get my second delivery on October 10th. When getting the order, the items I was told would be delivered were not. I only got 2 items when, I supposed to get the majority of my order then. The sales representative offered $100. This is very demeaning, and a slap in the face to someone that is purchasing $12,000 worth of furniture. That is not even 5% of what I ordered. Today, October 12, I called Customer Care and spoke to a man by the name of Jeff and explained my concerned and frustration to him. When I asked for the Regional/District Manager, Jeff stated understood, and told me to go to the store I purchased from because they would be able to share that information with me. When arriving to the store around 1:30pm I was directed to the customer care desk. I waited for about 20-30 minutes in line. When receiving help from the assistant Sales Manager Daniel Steinmetz, I was informed that my next delivery would not be until October 21, and the next the beginning of December. This is completely unacceptable. When explaining that I would need an evening delivery time due to work it was stated that I must get what they give me. That is rude and disrespectful. I have waited long enough. It took me to come in-store to find out that my order had been pushed back to December from October 5. I should not have to purchase an air mattress and lawn chairs to have a place to sit in my home due to false information on when my items would arrive. After asking Daniel who I could speak to that was above him. He directed me to another manager in store, Johnny Diaz. At this point it is about 45minutes to an hours later. When speaking to Johnny he told me he could compensate me $300 instead of $100. He felt as though that would help me. I just want my furniture. I asked for his bosses' number, and I asked for the Regional Directors email and/or number. I was told they did not have one. That is false information. When asking for the Regional Director, Vada Lucas' email address I was told to contact corporate via 866-787-7930 number. When calling I spoke to a lady named Vennie. She instructed me to send an email to you all. She explained how I should have been notified about the ETA changes, that I should have already received my mattress protectors, and that there in fact was a Regional Manager. They still refused to give me the email to the Regional Director. I had to look it up online to find it. It took me to tell the Sales Manager (Johnny Diaz), that I was told from customer care that I should have received my mattress protectors already, just for them to give them to me in store. When they were supposed to be on the first and/ or second delivery. I was in the store from 1:30pm - 4:04pm dealing with this issue. This service or lack thereof has caused tremendous inconvenience, and stress towards me and my family. I was extremely excited to purchase from this well-established company, but the poor service that had been received is very disheartening. I typically would not go this far, but the lack of effort and poor service again is unacceptable. read more

I am positing this as I leave the store to find out where our items our. No one in the supply chain can give me a direct answer. The problem starts with the Manager Johnny Diaz. He tried to manipulate the sale on the original purchase, starting there the entire thing was screwed up. We walked our original because he tried to inflate the price the sales guys had given us. Should have been our sign then and kept walking. Was just told that they screwed up on the order and I was supposed to pick it up. Guess what??? We were to have touchless delivery which is what the order says. Funny how all this works. As I leave today we have asked for a refund and was told it would take 72 hours to hit my bank. . Jay W. PART 1; Caught salesperson in two separate lies. He knew I wouldn't have purchased an item (a bed with fabric headboard) had I known it was on a 6 week back order. Told me it would be delivered with my coffee table. Had to find out it wasn't actually in stock by calling the warehouse to confirm pickup after original delivery date was pushed back due to bad winter weather. When I confronted him on it, over the phone, he said that he did not say that it was in stock (had a family member standing right there next to me to confirm I had the events/what was said correct). Then when my mother decided to contact and confront them they magically produced the item within 48 hours. Paid for "white glove service" - meaning it would be delivered and assembled and the delivery drivers tried to leave the bed at the door step, in the box and refused to put it together unless I paid them directly $30 each. So they came back @ 830PM that night and assembled the bed in roughly 20 minutes and demanded their $30 each. Ashley furniture management blamed the delivery subcontractor. The delivery subcontractor is a representative of Ashley furniture and was given the run around by management. This incident would have been completely avoided had they kept their work originally - then my movers and I could have assembled it. read more

So when the driver called to say he was on his way , I let him know he had the wrong address .. I gave him the right address... never showed and I saw that the text was read ! I should have come to read the reviews 1st and saved myself from a huge headache and stress. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere!!!! Anywhere but here!! My initial review on a diff platform was 5 stars. now...it's been reduced to 1. l would give -10 if I could. My initial reaction was positive. That's because I was buying. Super great customer service during the buying process. Once you walk out the door....GONE. Lucky to hear from anyone. Nobody replies or seems to know what the heck is going on. I bought a sofa, loveseat, chair, 2 end tables and a cocktail table. Over $7000.00 I am now in debt for and I still don't have it all. I received a call that my furniture was set to be delivered less than 1 month after buying. I had 2 orders so I wasn't sure what was coming. The day of delivery, they delivery guys brought in the sofa and the chair. The delivery guys were nice, but they messed up too. Less than 10 minutes after they left, I got a call that they had to come pick up the sofa, it wasn't mine. Belonged to someone else. So they come back and deliver my loveseat and take the sofa. Same sofa I purchased. 1month later and I'm still waiting on MY sofa and tables. The day after the chair was delivered, I realized it was going to be too much furniture. I called the customer service number to return/exchange. Being a Saturday they were closed. Closed Sunday. Finally reached someone. No returns. I can exchange but I have to go through the store. Reached out to my sales rep who had to put the request in. In to whom, I still don't know. I had to bug him for a week or 2 for an update. Finally received a call. I was granted my exchange. I had 6 days to go into the store and pick what I wanted. I did. A small dining table and chairs as well as 2 bedding sets. I was told my exchange matched to the penny. Asked if I needed to sign anything. The approval of my exchange wasn't in the system yet. I was assured as soon as it was, I would get paperwork. Still nada. I can't get anyone to call me back and confirm the bedding. However, they are supposed to pick up the chair tomorrow. I did call the 800 number for assistance. They don't know squat. Not at all helpful. However, they did tell me there is a delivery date for the table. They show NOTHING on the bedding. Then ya'll owe ME money!!!!!! I should have gone to Living Spaces. Or even the Goodwill would have been better! As for the delivery of the sofa and 3 tables. It's now cocktail table and 1 end table. Need refund on this too. I will never purchase furniture from Ashley again. I went in store and picked out a counter height dining set with 4 bar stools and 2 additional bar stools. This was after I had already spent a lot of money furnishing a living room and bedroom. When the table, stools and bar stools were delivered and set up, they were so flimsy and unstable. We have not been able to use them since they were delivered on October 29,2022. Ashley finally sent a furniture repairman last week to check out every thing and he told us they could not be repaired. Ashley's solution is to ship us new legs for each item and then schedule another repairman to come put them on. What happened to wanting customer satisfaction and just offering a refund? read more

My worst experience I've ever had purchasing furniture. They are a lying group! They offered me a discount if I decided to pay the full amount, but Michael Robles, the sales person, never applied that discount. About the delivery date, they did not meet the established date. Finally when I received a text message with a phone number to set up a delivery date, the lady that took my call was very rude. DONT BUY FROM HERE! The biggest mistake! They tell you buying for the store is better than online, LIE!! I bought almost 5k worth of furniture the first of July and was told it would be here mid August. I sold all my other furniture an here we are less than a week from October and NOTHING! I called in August an was told my sales person would call me he hasn't! I have called two other times with no answer. Left v/m and nobody will return my calls!!! once they make a sale they do NOT care about you!!! I have called them several times since they said my furniture would be here on 02/14/2022 then they said 04/01/2022, then May 2022 and now I called today they said not until 09/03/2022. They partially blamed it on our salesman that is no longer there and Covid. But yet they continue to sell the same furniture. Why would they keep selling the same furniture if they cannot deliver. I've been shopping at Ashley's Furniture in San Diego County for over 20 years and never had a bad experience until I met the Arlington store. My sales rep at the Arlington store recommended people he knew that could deliver and set up. What the salesman did not disclose was that this would be a Third Party delivery which was a disaster. Third Party company who showed up was in an open bed truck with wooden side panels used to haul away JUNK (name on the side of the truck was JUNK REMOVAL) in the middle of a rain storm. It was pouring down rain!! EXCUSE ME.... Furniture showed up and all boxes were soak and wet. We refused the shipment. We have videos and photos of the delivery and the driver in video calling us "crazy" for refusing the delivery! Driver knew at that moment he was now responsible for a $7,000 (cash) delivery. Although, we were not aware Ashley was literally off the hook for 2 bedroom sets we paid CASH for. One piece had water damage and it took Ashley over 4 months to come and exchange the damaged chest. As requested we sent the videos and photos to the salesman and NEVER heard back from him or Management at the store. Management staff was extremely rude both times we went to the store and called the store. We ended up contacting Corporate for help. Corporate made it right after waiting another month (new chest and refund for delivery and set up). Be very careful when dealing with the Arlington store! We ended up speaking with the delivery driver a few times and the next morning while the ground was still wet he delivered 2 bedroom sets, mattresses, night stands and chests in the middle of my driveway! IT WAS A HOT MESS! He was not able to help us move the furniture inside or set up because he had another delivery on his schedule. We paid for delivery and set up and that took 5 months for Ashley to fix and refund because the store kept blowing us off. Wet cardboard was all over the yard. STOP! Don't purchase any furniture from Ashley's Furniture. We have had the worst furniture-buying experience with them. This is our first and last purchase with this company. We purchased a 4-chair dining table, a coffee table set with end tables, and a TV--console, Sofa, Loveseat, and Recliner. So we spent a lot of money with this unprofessional, inconsiderate, and money-hungry company. From day one of the delivery day that my furniture was delivered, we were lied to, and it just got worse from that day on. Our TV console was provided missing all the shelves, the bottom leg is broken, and the distressed looked like someone shot it with a bibi gun (it isn't enjoyable). But the worst part of the whole matter is the couch and loveseat. Let me start by saying they are pretty, but you can't sit down on them without sitting on the floor. The cushions were made with budget cuts in mind; what I mean by that is the sofa fabric does not cover the entire cushion. The bottom half of the cushion is made with regular fabric that rubs against the jean fabric on the base of the bottom of the sofa, which slides right out of the couch for both the sofa and the loveseat. We tried calling for a repair or replacement ten times with no resolution. Whenever we contact customer service, they tell us that our service request has been canceled. We finally had a third-party technician come to look at the sofa set, and he said there wasn't anything he could do for us. We would need a new set because the cushions were made incorrectly and with budget cuts in mind. Eric, the technician who came out to take a look, assured me that he would put in the report that he looked and couldn't repair the sofa set on Dec 1st. I called today to find out the status of my repair, and now the customer service is telling us that they have no record of Eric from Affirm, their 3rd party vendor. coming out to see and or him writing up a report about the couches, so now we are back to square one. So disappointing. We went to Ashley's thinking we would get top notch furniture and customer care. We spent a lot of money there in one stop, buying all new living room and and all new dining room furniture. It has been 2 months since and we have only received 3 pieces of the order. We were supposed to get the rest of it today but when the delivery arrived it was only a couple of chairs and an end table, and 2 of the 3 were damaged. So, we're still with only 3 pieces of our whole order. This is after numerous texts and phone calls over the last few weeks confirming the order and the delivery dates. I called customer care and the lady I spoke with was very unapologetic and only told me "that things change"... what?! Now she tells me our dining table won't be ready for at least two more weeks and 1 of our couches won't be ready for another month! The frustrating thing is when you confirm your order delivery they tell you to clear out your room of old furniture, so now we will have an empty living room and dining room for a month or so. I've been patient but their nonchalant attitude and you take what we give you when we give it attitude is crazy. We're so disappointed in the service we have received from them.
