This was the worst shopping experience ever for me when it comes to furniture. There delivery team dropped the ball big time, I was expecting delivery on a certain day and they never showed then I wanted to cancel and I was told my delivery fee was not refundable. This is a great scam Ashley has going on. Samantha was the showroom manager and she treated me as if I was garbage. Phone calls to Ashley were no better. Very poor customer service skills. Please before you consider buying any furniture from Ashley check all the negative reviews. read more

I purchased a bedroom and living room set and was sold the wrong mattress. Ashley is not trying to right their wrong. Do not shop here. Custom service is horrible and they want to penalize you for their mistakes. I've been a customer since 2009. This is frustrating and disappointing. Send out furnishings missing pieces and something will be stained.. just send it back and wait for a new piece, it will save you weeks of aggravated waiting for Ashley to fix the problem only to be let down w the customer service.. then they come to fix it and tell you it's not stained.. last time shopping here! read more

Horrible experience and horrible service. We will never shop at Ashley furniture again. Very incompetent and dishonest service. First they lied by insuring us that we would get our furniture in 3 days, it was delivered a month later, with scratches on the console table and a damaged loveseat. They also charged us $155.54 more from the original online price. Beware of false promises from them, particularly from the sales people from the Patchogue location. read more

I'm pretty disappointed with Ashley HomeStore I had a delivery scheduled for today with a time frame of 10-2pm. I 2pm I called and then told me the new eta is 4:30pm. Imagine having 6 1/2 to waste waiting for a delivery. This is ridiculous they didn't even call me to let me know they were coming at this time. I had to call them. The staff at the store were nice and pleasant but the delivery gets 1 star. read more

DO NOT DEAL WITH DAWN P OR THE MANAGER ALICE as they act like they care BUT the actions they took (NONE) A couple of years ago I bought a mattress from Sales Associate Dawn and because of her kind and professional manners I recently was in need of furniture and followed her to her new store and made a very large purchase; however a personal dilemma came up that I needed to cancel my order. I actually felt so badly with all the help she offered me during the sale REASSURING me with everything, I went in with a little gift. The problem is I came in as this was still on a SALE process to CANCEL and Dawn and her manager Alice wanted to try and save that Big sale and put me on a customer to call list explaining that there would be no deliveries until I called! And then table pads are delivered WITHOUT me calling for a delivery! (and no table delivered because the only call I made was to CANCEL!!! When I called her immediately and again Dawn told me she was not in the building but that she would handle it and NEVER did. Her manager Alice also told me she would handle this error on their part and never called me back and the same with Nina (In Operations)which is a BIG PROBLEM!!! All 3 Ashley Associates telling me they are going to handle their mistake and did NOTHING and now a charge of $454.05 appears on my bill!!!!!!!!! For table pads that were for a table I canceled!!! Extremely upset to be charged for something I canceled and to this date HAS NOT BEEN RECTIFIED!!! read more

If there was an option for no stars I'd chose that. The people here just want to make sales and don't reallly care about their customers. I purchased a couch back in April was told I would 100% have my couch by the end of may (my move in date) and Craig can assure me of that. We then get a text a week prior to our move in date that where scheduled for a delivery date of 2 weeks later. When i stopped by the store the manager told me he would figure it out told me I wasn't even set for a delivery date so Craig clearly lied. I paid for the couch in full and now wouldn't have a couch for our new home he assured me he would call us with a date for our already paid for couch and the manager never reached back out to contact us. So now we paid $1600 for our couch and are being lied to about when we're even receiving it.... read more

Buyer beware this store has promised and not delivered in every aspect of the word. After switching to Ashley for my furniture purchase ( having had a terrible experience with Jennifer furniture) I was promised communication, prompt up to date information about my purchase and delivery. I adamantly asked that they be honest and up front. I emphasized no partial delivery would be accepted. What I got was a partial damaged delivery of my furniture slipped in with my mattress that I was expecting. I now have contacted and pleaded with Ashley to replace or remove the damaged items from my house for a month now. The calls are not returned. I call and am left on hold for prolonged periods of time only to get non-committal answers and the usual run-around. I will tell you what I did get a nice big bill!! With only partial damaged delivery and no date for exchange or pick up they were sure to initiate the billing cycle. I am disgusted with this company and will continue to update their lack of customer care on all review sites possible,. I hope this helps someone before they fall into the trap. read more

Everyone we dealt with and spoke to at Ashley's Patchogue store was courteous and helpful, and they gave us plenty of time and space to wander around and take our time without being pushy. I made a couple of leisurely visits before I decided to purchase and never felt pressured. The delivery was on time and the delivery men were professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend the Patchogue Ashley store to family and friends. read more

My delivery of my sofa and my dining room set was top notch above perfect. The men were professional clean and cordial. Unfortunately one of the chairs legs to break. I called customer service and they had to order a pie. The part was delayed so they gave me a new chair. Upon the delivery of the chair the two men were again professional, neat and cordial I would recommend Haley. read more

On October 17th we went into the Patchogue location and ordered a couch and loveseat. We were told that if we ordered them by the end of that weekend they would be here for Thanksgiving. We needed furniture for the holidays. Our sales person was unavailable so The manager that we sat with told us they would be delivered by 11/17 but she would put ASAP since they frequently come in early. When we called the delivery number the first week in November to find out a delivery date we were told they're not coming in until December! In fact we were told there was never any availability on these couches in November at all!!! We were so upset that we were lied to, we could've ordered them from another store and had them in time for the holidays. We left two messages at the store for the manager over the next two days. Not one return call. Now it is December and we were told we are looking at a January delivery. I understand there are deliveries that come later than expected. But I am disgusted by the fact that the manager of the store was willing to say anything to make the sale. And then doesn't even have the decency to return our call. We've purchased at the Lake Grove location in the past and I wish we would've done that this time. Stay away from this Patchogue location they are looking for nothing but money!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered furniture from the Brookhaven location. Purchased the warranty for the couch. Upon delivery, I refused one of the items . Never came off the truck. I am still waiting for my full refund that everybody seems to have no idea about. They say call the store but then say no one answers in the store. As far as the couch, I told the delivery men I thought it was to big in the location it was set up . They said if your husband who wasn't home at the time does not like it we can come back and dissemble the couch to move it to the lower level. Well I call back customer service they said they do not offer this option. It is out of their hands. And if we decide to move the couch then we don't have a warranty anymore because wherever they set up the couch it has to stay there in order for them to cover anything. The sales person never explained that to us nor did I sign a contract. I was emailed a receipt and that was it. This store is such a ripoff and the worst customer service / policies. Now i have to go physically to the store to get any sort of answers ! read more
