FUTURE EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS BEWARE This company operates in ways that hurt both the workers on the ground and the businesses paying for flyer distribution. Here are the issues, broken down: ONE: Assigned Gated Apartments with Posted "No Trespassing" Signs Why it's bad for customers: Residents in gated complexes or with freshly posted no-trespassing signs are quick to complain. They don't see flyers as advertising--they see them as a nuisance. This often results in negative views about your company and possibly even reviews for the business, which defeats the purpose of the marketing. Why it's bad for employees: You are being asked to break the law for pennies. Workers risk trespassing charges, being photographed, or even arrested--all for 15¢ per door. TWO: Apartment Routes That Turn into House-Only Routes Why it's bad for customers: Flyers may not be placed with care when employees realize they're being underpaid. A house-only route pays more, the worker puts in the physical effort. Poor compensation leads to poor results. Why it's bad for employees: sent into an area only to find all apartments are gated. Instead of getting compensated fairly for a proper house only route, you end up getting upgraded to a house-only route with no pay adjustment. You do more work, get less money, and lose trust in the job. THREE: Told to flyer Homes with Posted "No Solicitation" Signs Why it's bad for customers: Ignoring a no-solicitation sign hurts your brand. These homeowners aren't going to suddenly welcome flyers--they see it as disrespect. The end result is a worse reputation for your company. Why it's bad for employees: You're the one standing in the driveway or caught on a Ring camera when the homeowner comes out angry. It's uncomfortable and puts the blame on you, even though you were just following orders. FOUR: Double Routes with Double Charges but Half the Pay Why it's bad for customers: Flyers end up placed improperly or rushed because employees know they're being cheated. Poor pay means poor quality. Why it's bad for employees: On "double routes," the company charges two different clients 25¢ each--making 50¢ per door--while paying the worker only 15¢. If you're placing two flyers at the same address, you should be paid double (30¢). Instead, the company pockets the difference while you burn through 30,000 steps a day for pennies. FIVE: No Respect for Workers' or Clients' Time This company has a pattern of scheduling people for "special jobs" mid-day, then making them wait. Example: you show up at the exact time requested, only to be told the manager is "in a meeting" and to come back in 30 minutes. Workers waste their time and gas, and in some cases, the company has even pulled this on people they later refused to pay. When you add it all up--unethical pay, pocketing 35¢ extra per door on doubles, failing to research whether apartments are gated, ignoring workers' safety and time, and exposing employees to potential criminal charges--it's clear this company operates without regard for fairness or professionalism. I wish I could give negative five stars I'm sure the owner will defend himself, by stating he always treats his workers with respect and fairly, that's why he posts an ad on Craiglist 2 times a week calling for workers. About a year ago we had a tragic and unexpected death in the family. Ashlee's Printing was so thoughtful and kind about our situation. They printed a beautiful program for us and even gave us some really nice program's on beautiful paper for family keepsakes. I would have to say most unprofessional company I've called in a long time! I try to get a price on trifold my 30 sec conversation apparently was to long, what I described wasn't fast enough so Dan hung up on me I called him back and he blatantly told me he was on hold with somebody else and rushed me off the phone again I did manage to get a extremely high-priced quote he was about $200 more compared to who we currently use so I wouldn't waste your time with this company if you want the best quality we've been using printograph best pricing as well I gave these guys a call because they a local company but BUT NOPE! read more

I just opened a new dog grooming business and knew that I needed to let people know that I was there. I contacted Ashlee's and ordered door knockers. The turn around was SUPER FAST. After going to OfficeMax and being told they raised their prices AGAIN on color copies and lamination, I decided to try Ashlee's. They printed my project while I waited and the end result was better than what I was getting at OfficeMax. The really great news is the color copies were exactly half the price and the lamination was about 50% less. Overall, I saved $50 and got a better result in half the time.
