I have a 2003 honda accord with 120k miles on it so i expect i'll need to have some maintenance done to the vehicle at times. However, when i pulled out of my parking spot one morning there was a huge oil spot underneath my car. Scary. I took the car in for a look. Within about 20 mins Tim had diagnosed the issue, assured me it wasn't that big of deal, and was able to provide me a quote on the service that was more than reasonable. I went to him thinking the worst and that i would be having to either replace the engine or get a new car. Due to my own travel i wasn't able to have my car worked on that week, but Tim was open to communicating with me via text message to set up an appointment to have my car serviced and he even provided a loaner vehicle. (I talk on the phone for a living so if i can do anything via text or email it's a huge bonus for me) Most importantly I felt like i could trust Tim. I hate going to a mechanic and they try take advantage of the fact i know nothing of vehicles and try to get you to pay for services that aren't necessary. I was completely prepared to have other services performed but Tim assured me that if i wasn't having issues with the vehicle they could probably wait and saved me some money in the end. He could have easily put some extra money in the shops pocket but instead he created a repeat customer. Please do not take your car to this place…read more This is my firsthand experience with this repairshop. My car did not start one cold morning (1/5/2026) and I called AAA for a tow. The AAA did not offer to jump-start my car and towed my car to this shop. All they had to do was to jump-start my car and see if my car would start or not. That is the very 1st thing anyone with very little knowledge about a car will do. But instead they told me that my car engine is destroyed and I need a new engine. The gave me an estimated invoice for $11,200. Can you believe that? Yes, it is hard to believe but they wanted to charge me $11,200 for a new engine. All my car needed was a jump-start. There was nothing else wrong with my car. At that point I told them that "NO" I do not want to spend that on my car and I would like my car back to take it to another shop. The owner of this shop forced me to $176.00 for nothing. I mean they did not do a single thing other than wanting to scam me and steal my money by telling me I needs a new engine. I then took my car to another repair shop (an honest one). The mechanic at the second shop jump-starts my car and says to me "There is nothing wrong with your car other than needing a jump-start due to extreme cold in the night before". Please do not take your car to this place. I had already called AAA and filed a complaint about this shop as well.

As a woman with limited knowledge, I wanted to be sure not to overpay, so I called a few places and East Coast Auto Repair offered to check my car out the next morning, which worked great for me. (I was right about the high quote from the dealership by almost $400.) I asked the person who greeted me at the shop if they had time to complete a thorough check of the car while they had it for my brakes and they did. When completed, their review included the work on the brakes and only the usual maintenance type things with no pressure for any additional, or possible unnecessary work. In fact, they appreciated my need to control my expenses and made suggestions on how I could get the most out of my car. The people working there were polite, knowledgeable and honest. They clearly explained the work needed..in my case a ck engine light was flashing on my daughters 2014 Nissan Pathfinder and while suspecting the catalytic converter they suggested a tuneup first hoping that would solve the problem w/o having to replace the converter. A week, 6 spark plugs, 6 ignition coils & $2200 later the ck engine light came back on (something they told me could happen) and I had to have the cat. converter replaced anyway... which I had done @ another shop closer to home that specializes in that type work. No doubt the plugs & coils needed replacing but I just thought $2200 for a tuneup was way too expensive...the garage that ultimately replaced the converter confirmed my thinking telling me I overpaid by about $500 for the tuneup. In summary if you're in a pinch like I was and can't shop around, Two Guys Garage can certainly be trusted to do quality and timely work... just be sure to bring your checkbook cause it's gonna cost ya.
