The tiniest, cutest bookstore around!…read more This place may be small, but wow does it have character. It's a book lover's dream -- compact, cozy, and absolutely packed with great reads. The shelves are well‑stocked, and the owner, Karen, will surprise you with what she manages to fit into such a tiny space. And honestly, the best part is Karen herself. She cares deeply about her customers and her community, and it shows every time you walk in. This is the beauty of indie bookstores: people who genuinely care. I love stopping by and having conversations with her. I flip‑flop a lot in what I read and never stick to one genre, but I can tell Karen what I'm in the mood for, and she has never once failed to recommend a great book. It's a gem of a shop, and I always leave feeling happy I stopped in.

The prices were decent and well worth the price. I settled on 3 books but definitely plan to return.

The young woman behind the counter today was staring at her phone the entire time I was there. An older woman, who I assumed was an owner or manager, was talking energetically to two other women shopping when I walked in. She shot me a quick glance, then went back to talking to the two women. She shot one more quick glance before she went into the back room. No one said anything to me as I left. On a previous visit, I needed a calendar. Again, no greeting. When I went to purchase the calendar, the woman asked if I was part of their rewards program. (the most anyone ever has said in there) And when I replied no, she just wrung me up. No, "Would you like to enroll?" Someone gave me a gift card for the shop, but frankly, I can't see ever going back in again, so I'll regift it to someone who enjoys indifference.
