They were very accommodating on start date when we asked to move it up, and were happy to work with our schedule when other parts of the house weren't ready for them. Some contractors come one day and dont come back for a couple days - they showed up every day they said they would be here. The crew, Peter and Miguel, worked well together and so they were able to move through the project quickly. The finished product looks great thanks to their attention to detail. Another thing, we were living there during the flooring and they were very understanding and happy to work with us on minimizing the disruption to our home. Lastly, for the material, they referred us to a place nearby that had a great selection, and great price. Would highly recommend Lam's Flooring to anyone who needs flooring work done.

His team did leave floor finish stains on the baseboards and my kitchen quartz counter walls, so heads up, don't forget to ask them to use painters tape if you're getting your hardwood floors sanded and refinished. (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. They have lived up to a very active 70lbs+ lab mix and no signs of any damage or nail marks (which is a miracle because she really took it to our hardwood floors when she was a puppy and weighed less). When I contacted the store, they told me to read the instructions on the box and said that because it was a final sale, they would not take any responsibility. The salesperson should have informed us before the purchase that this type of flooring is not suitable for areas with direct sunlight or high temperatures. If we had known about this limitation, we would have chosen a different product. Instead, we were left with flooring that could not be installed properly and received no support from the store. Of the companies I contacted, he had great pricing and was very transparent and upfront about costs and potential factors that might affect the price such as condition of subfloor, etc. He gave me a range and wound up charging me on the lower end, which was appreciated. I had him put in Garrison engineered wood flooring in two bedrooms to try to match my existing wood floors in common areas along with a baseshoe to cover the gap between the floor and baseboard. He was able to keep the floor flush in one bedroom, and added a transition for the second because the subfloor had poured concrete and was higher than the landing. He and his guys were on time and did a fantastic job with install and I absolutely love how it turned out! Paul is very proud and passionate about his work and craftsmanship and it shows.
