I tested Yelp to get an electrician and got Ecker Electrical a few hours from my location. Ecker Electrical is a new company, and the primary electrician is NYS-code certified and highly competent. He had excessive expensive travel costs and a personal loss that were unanticipated. That said the actual work was spread over a longer period than we expected and quite inconvenient. But the work was excellent, and the project was completed exactly as we desired. I would recommend Ecker electrical if there was no excessive travel time to get to the worksite.

Not only did they show up on time but when we discovered that our refrigerator had been leaking overnight resulting in a considerable amount of water in our basement, they offered to fix it, which saved an expensive plumbing bill.
