This is a good Asda Cafe, they follow the new gluten free range and sell Seattle's best coffee, in a rather nice cup.
As I was planning a meal at a nearby restaurant, I just came in here to grab a quick coffee while shopping in Asda and try a gluten free carrot cake, the staff seemed quite nice and they didn't mind me taking the plate, as the cake is attached to the plate and of course, I planned to have it for a dessert.
My coffee was served in a nice cup, and it did taste quite nice, normally ASDA stores have a machine for this brand, but this store served them fresh in a nice, branded cup.
It is quite a nice cafe, however it is rather a hassle to get to, it is in the corner of he store and you have to check out to get to it, or go there first and I didn't notice any of those slots to put your trolley.
My cake wasn't that great, although I did like the cream and it was a great portion for the money, it still isn't as enjoyable as the cheesecake.
As it has a good gluten free menu, nice staff and a coffee, I feel 3 stars is quite fair for here, but I can't give more until I have tried the hot, gluten free food. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger - I will be back! read more
