The staff are wonderfully friendly and professional, the value of the food and drinks is superb with many different offers on, and the food itself is plentiful and good quality. The venue itself is decorated in a modern contemporary style with a fascinating huge photo-mural of Times Square NYC across an entire wall. The furniture is modern dark wood, and there are some tables and comfy chairs in the window, on a carpetted area. There is also a heated sheltered outdoor area where smokers can eat and drink, and a couple of bistro tables and chairs directly outside the venue. This is a very pleasant place, and they do great food. Of all the places in the town centre, I nearly always come here when hungry.

I know the staff in here now because I have been coming here for a long time. They really look after there customers and they are always very friendly. This café is always kept very clean and the food is delicious. I think the prices are very reasonable in here as well. The make really nice coffee in here and they use big cups! There are lots of options and some things you don't commonly see so much, such as lemon tea, Ovaltine, potato cakes and some other bits. The food is freshly made and very tasty, you certainly get your money's worth. It's also nice that as they have a deli, you have a wide variety of choice, even things that aren't listed on the menu. If you want a a full English breakfast, they have a whole variety of options, and if you just fancy lemon curd on toast with a cup of Earl Grey tea, they can do that too. They also have some good offers and nice daily specials, with lots of seating inside and a bit of seating outside. The inside seating has photos of old Bolton under the glass of the table top, which is a cute and quirky idea. The deli side is popular too with people popping in from local businesses to get a freshly made sandwich to take back with them. I like it here. It's not let me down yet.

I'm glad I decided to visit today, it's a nice place. As you go inside, you can see that it has a lot of offerings on chalk boards telling about lovely specials and soups and cakes and the such, with many offerings for Vegans and people with gluten allergies, but also general offerings for those of us who have no such dietary requirements. The interior is bright at one end and dark at the other, due to a lack of lighting in the back area, but a big set of windows on the other end, allowing the sunlight to cascade inside. The staff when I visited were young and friendly, happy to give extra information about their offerings. On this occasion, although I was tempted by a baked potato with garlic mushrooms (yum!), I chose to go for a cup of decaf tea, and try out one of their brownies made with gluten-free flour, and "just a bit" of sugar. Very tasty indeed, just the right amount of gooiness and superbly chocolatey. There's several tea options available, and the coffee is provided by Rijo. I was pleased that although they have a lot of Vegan information/food on the boards, I was still able to get a cup of tea with milk. I was surprised they didn't have skimmed milk available, given the 'healthy' vibe of the place, but semi skimmed was fine for me. It was also nice to see that everything was clearly labelled regarding potential allergies, and there was a file listing the allergens within their food on the front of the main counter. It was also nice to see that when a family came into the café, the young girl with them went straight to the books which are available on a coffee table by a few comfy chairs. It's something a little different for a café, but makes it clear, along with free wifi with a clearly available password, that they welcome their customers, and want them to feel comfortable and relaxed, which is what we all want really when visiting a café, isn't it? I'd return here again for lunch sometime, it's friendly and there's so many options!

I'd heard good things about the breakfasts here and thought I'd switch up from my usual Saturday morning cafe and give it a whirl. I had the full breakfast, which gives you an ample serving of bacon, sausage, egg, mushroom, beans and toast. Washed down with a Cappuccino and for a smidgen over £6 - win. The manager who was serving us was fantastic as well, a real character that made a big effort to come and chat with us on a few occasions. To give minus points, the decor is a little dated and I've had better quality breakfast's, but still a great local cafe!

The lady who runs the cafe is always very pleasant & will go out of her way to come & say hello to you. I tend to go for the standard bacon, sausage & egg barm (Boltonian for muffin, cob, bread roll blah blah blah) & the portion size & the quality of food is excellent. I would advise getting there as early as you can as when it hits 10am its difficult to get a table. The only slight criticism i have is that they charge an extra £1.50 per sandwich for eating in which seems a little steep but with the service & quality, i'll let them off the hook.
