I've been harassed, and have had my tenant rights breached MULTIPLE times. The landlord and building manager entered my unit the day after the scheduled inspection and intimidated my babysitter that was home with my sick child. She brings her emotional support dog with her to babysit, which was approved by the previous landlord and they are trying to tell me I breached my lease because the new landlord hasn't approved it, this is after they tried to withdraw unauthorized money from my account and attempted to withdraw rent after I had already paid by cheque. This put me me in arrears for my car insurance and double nsf's, which I ultimately had to end up paying out because of this. The breach letters come after their little attempts. They gave me a breach noice saying I didn't have my PAD on file, the day after they tried to take a random amount from my account, and I got a breach noice for my sitter the day after they illegally entered my unit:. This is full blown harassment and very unprofessional. They say I'm in arrears but won't say what for lol??? All my rent payments are up to date ‍ We are also survivors of domestic abuse and this building is one location our abuser can't access and now has been made unsafe by the landlord and manager. I was also given a bill for common area carpet cleaning after helping an elderly gentlemen move out of the building because he had bags in the hallway. The landlord graciously told me that you guys can't charge us for things like that, so that's one decent things she's done. I also disclosed my sensative situation with the landlord, and ever since, I've been harassed with breaches, and they've breached my human rights as I believe this is discrimination to my situation. I'm assuming it's there way of getting me to move out, but that's not going to happen since this is our safe house and I'm not doing anything wrong. Imagine being a mom and a landlord and doing this to another mom with young children who are trying to live a safe and happy life. It's evil actually. I reported the breaches to the building manager and submitted my formal notice that I am escalating this matter for damages, I also asked for upper management and it's been declined by the building manager , so I apologize I messaged on every social media platform, but I think the owners would like to know of the illegal activities going on at Westview Manor Building C and the fact that these 2 individuals are leaving serious marks on Braden's reputation, there is several Facebook posts about this building alone. I think it's only fair they are warned with the truth.

I've lived in this building for over 2.5 years now. My suite happened to be ready a couple days early so Norma allowed me to move in which was great, as I was leaving for Costa Rica three days later. Yes, there is a nightclub on the ground floor of the building. I am on the 5th floor and on the same side of the building as the structural column that runs from the nightclub up. There is a bit of bass you can hear at times, typically on the weekend, but I sleep with earplugs anyhow so it really doesn't bother me. I was a bit concerned when about this I moved in as I'm very picky about noise when I'm trying to relax or sleep, but it's truly a non-issue. Which brings me to my next comment ... I have only ever had one issue in this building and that was with tenants who late at night, would be standing in the hallway talking quite loudly. I had brought this to Norma's attention the next morning and it was promptly dealt with. Right from the start she's been friendly and helpful, and always willing to do what she needs to do to keep her tenants happy. I feel the building is quite secure, unlike others in close proximity I have previously lived at. Norma of course being the building manager, plays a key role in keeping her tenants feeling safe and secure. I've had maintenance complete a couple of items for me and without any issues. They are friendly, helpful, and always take care of what's needed in a timely fashion. Working in emergency medical services for almost 12 years and having spent nearly 6 of those years within the city of Edmonton, I have unfortunately been privy to multiple incidents of bed bugs. I'm not sure what 'Superba' is talking about but not once have I ever seen bed bugs anywhere in the building, let alone the rental office. And if 'Superba' had actually seen drug deals as being proof of drug dealers living in the building, I wonder why he/she never reported this to management or ... THE POLICE. So again ... over 2.5 years in the building, one MINOR problem and it was promptly taken care of. I'm a picky tenant and it just so happens that I recently renewed my lease for a full year. I hope that when reading reviews, people take into account context of the review and how it was written. I'm certainly no PhD, but it doesn't take a genius to know B.S. when you see it.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!…read more Do not move in here. Lestion properties is pure evil. Upon move in, I heard screaming from the apartment opposite me. Inquiring with other neighbours, found out, there is a meth addicted man who lives there and had previously pulled the firealarm, stopped the elevator and the other neighbours had complained to management before and management did nothing. So, management was aware and did not inform me of this. Within 48 hours of move in, the police arrived twice because of the man. Most importantly, I called multiple times, emailed with police case ID, videos, images and the management was outright rude, dismissive and did not even pick up my calls. First time in Canada, I felt unsafe about my life. I tried to get out but couldn't cause I signed the lease. The hallways always smell, the apartment's too cold as the boiler is never turned on, I just kept quiet and told myself I will move out of here as soon as my lease ends though it's 3 mins walk to my work. During the recent storm, the power went and I called their emergency line, nobody picked up or called back and many smaller issues over the year. Now, for move out, I told them I will be moving out July 26, they had 5 business days to conduct the inspection and they said nothing. I reached out requesting inspection and they wanted to perform it themselves. I obviously don't trust them due to the move in issue so I wanted to be present. I provided them regular business hours of 4 to 5 pm. They intentionally ignored July 30 and 31 and said that next week is too late. If next week is late then perform it this week on July 30 or 31! They requested if I could do Saturday and I gave a them a time and they said they cannot do it at that time and that they will perform the inspection themselves. Note: They have not once said a time or date that works for them yet. Like tell me when you are available if you are not available at my time! Then they said that they will charge me extra if the inspection is performed later. They did not reach out or provide a time for the whole week. They are not available at regular business hours of 4 to 5 pm. They did not provide any times that work for them. They intentionally ignored July 30 and 31 and talked about next week. They lied about the meth addicted neighbour. They ignored my calls and emails upon move in with safety concerns. They have not provided times or dates that work. 3 other neighbours from the floor also moved out immediately after their lease ended. I have had 3 landlords before and never faced such issues. Leston is just rude and dismissive. It is much better to may pay more and live somewhere else. If they somehow remove this review, I will check every Sunday and post it again. If they pay and get my account removed, I get a friend's account/ create new one. I will check every Sunday for the rest of my life and post so that this post is the newest one because simply put, that's how vile and evil they are.

The condo complex I live…read morein has had nothing but problems with the rooftop Chiller system and even though numerous residents have complained to BP all's BP says is 'we're having someone look into what the problem is and as soon as we know we'll keep you informed'. BP has NEVER informed us residents about what problems were found with the Chiller system and what can be done to resolve these problems. We all pay our condo fees and you'd better bet if one of us didn't BP would be in contact with us but when we are looking for answers NOTHING! Avoid using them for property management unless you want problems!!

Be very careful if you decide to sign with this company and read the contract carefully, especially…read morethe termination clauses. Our condominium board, unfortunately, didn't. We weren't happy with the service and found out too late that the contract could only be cancelled *within 60 days of the end of the three year term* or under certain very unusual circumstances. Now we're faced with a large expenditure to pay out on the balance of a contract we aren't using and don't want. Make sure any contract you sign clearly states that either party can terminate without cause at any time on 30 or 60 days' notice...and never, ever, sign anything you haven't read / don't fully understand.
