The great customer service, cleaning and maintenance team at the Wimbledon work very hard. I have been living at several boardwalk properties for almost 10 years now but Wimbledon has stepped up, the renovated and the new updated design : hallway and the entrance looks amazing (check pics on www.bwalk.com search for Wimbledon). I feel that I am a valued member and not just a renter. Now, if some people don't agree, it will only be most likely 4 out of 5 times, the problem is them. Tenants also need to be vigilant. Also, tenants need to clean their floors and take out the trash regularly. If you read your lease and you follow the lease and if you are working at being a respectful good neighbour, you would have no problem. This is a pot free building, don't smoke pot, you will not get a notice, don't play loud music, be respectful. Also, we need to recognize that the staff work very hard with passion and dedication. You can pay a salary but you can't buy passion and dedication. The Area Coordinator Halina at Wimbledon is very responsive to all your comments, she is open to listening and taking suggestions which I find very helpful. She is also not a micro manager and she has amazing rental staff like Petra, Rita and Behrooz who always take care of your needs promptly. Behrooz does his work quickly, quietly and efficiently. Rita is just amazing, she keeps the building looking good and clean. She always compliments people and will engage in a conversation with you. She does her cleaning regularly on her timetable. Special mention goes to Petra.. Petra has recently stood out to me for her world class Customer service, you never have to repeat something twice to her, she has excellent phone etiquette, she is respectful and courteous with amazing listening skills, you also feel special when you are on the call with her. She will always follow up on emails and maintenance requests within 24 hours. I would say come to Wimbledon because in these days you NEED a team that cares about customer service, maintenance and cleaning. The hunnybunny lives here, in Strathcona House, and I've been visiting for the last five years…read more It's a great location, with the University of Alberta and the LRT a few minutes walk away, and even closer are the High-Level Bridge to the Leg and downtown, several collections of restaurants and coffee shops, various other businesses, bus lines, the Kinsmen Sports Centre, and more. The building itself is made of concrete (that's part of the backstory), has a small fitness center, a pool, huge coin laundry, a back courtyard with communal grills, sunning chaise lounges, and a cute gazebo. There's both outside and underground parkades. Three elevators, friendly and interesting fellow tenants, frequent tidying by the cleaning staff, a night security guard, and a pop machine just past the lobby.

This is my home, and it has been for almost 3 years…read more Beautifully located on the corner of Saskatchewan Drive and 109 street, the North facing dwellings have the best view (in the city in my opinion). The view of the lit up bridge at night is gorgeous, and Canada Day is electric. The fireworks are just down the hill, and the atmosphere is awesome. This building is older (built in the 1970's I believe), but it is 20 stories, and very well established with a fitness center, pool, 24 hr coin laundry, and amenities just a stone's throw away. The back courtyard is always well kept, complete with communal bbq's to use. (I really should try those out). There's also a two level parkade under the building. The tenants (those who you actually run into) have been pleasant, as well as the building managers. The common areas are always well kept and clean, and the cleaning staff are wonderfully charming and friendly. There is an on-site security officer that does regular patrols during the night as well, so our building is kept safe. All in all, I love where I live!
