From what Iheard from my Remax agent,Nigel, and from how she conducted the sale transaction, I was impressed by Jaquie. I felt that she cared about her client's interests and that she was fair. She was respectful and honest throughout the negotiations ' and sale process. I would definitely recommend Jaquie to others.

So this can be a big saving on how much you get back on the sale. That being said, you still may not pay the 1% to the other agent, as I found out in my case (only reason not full 5 stars, as I was never told this in the beginning). If the buyer had signed an agreement to their agent on the usual commission, then you are obliged to pay them the normal rate (so 3.5/1.5% for their portion). I still saved money though, as I only paid my agent 1%. This is something you will have to discuss with the realtor. That being said, I had recommended my friend in using the same agent to sell his house, and he did pay only 2% commissions. For people fearing that other agents may not show your home due to them not getting a bigger commission, I would not worry. Legally they are obliged to show your home if a client inquiries about it. As well, people looking to buy a home now a days are computer savvy, and will look online on their own time, so aren't dependent on their agent. My agent was Steve Kehoe and I got nothing but awesome service. I also got the $200 referral fee when my buddy sold his house through him. If I was selling again, they would be my first choice once more. Any less commission, you can go Comfree, but to me that's more of a hassle trying to sell it yourself.

The property was sold in Edmonton South. Laura Green is quick, efficient, resourceful, knowledgeable and works to push the sale to the client's best interest. This is one person you want on your side when you are buying or selling a home in Edmonton. Having made the sale as an Owner based in Ontario, she made my visit into Edmonton efficient. When she suggested some furniture and fixings would help, we asked her cost for staging and she said she would do it complimentary. Her basic staging was simple. When I needed some post-tenant fix up like light bulb change and assistance to change microwave out with a new one, she was armed and ready to have a handyman assist. The last and final thing that we truly applaud her for is closing the sale with a closing the sale with two competing offers. We listed below all other similar units and she had competing offers pretty much matching the other listed units. She did a great job and we are definitely excited to refer to any friends and family looking for a home in Edmonton. Thanks for making our sale an easy process.

For the three days that we were in Edmonton for our house hunting trip, Patti spent most of that time in constant touch with us. We gave her the profile of the areas and homes we were looking for in advance, and she compiled a number that fit our criteria - and then deftly changed directions when we changed some of those criteria while here. We ended up purchasing a new infill in Old Strathcona and worked tirelessly on our behalf despite having to declare a conflict (her brokerage also represented the builder). When she found out that there were a couple of items not completely finished by our closing date, she worked all day to ensure they were taken care of so the house was move-in ready (as we'd been living in a hotel with pets for a couple of days prior to closing, we REALLY wanted to be in our new place on time). The whole time she was very professional. This was our third time using a Realtor and the previous time when we purchased our house in Halifax was in complete contrast to Patti (the Halifax agent was a very poor experience). Patti made the purchase as smooth as possible, and allowed us to focus our thoughts on other aspects of the move. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new home - particularly those in central Edmonton.

Things were moved in our house and weren't put back, she complained to our landlord about our lawn (which we mow regularly but has dandelions in the summer), she ignored our instruction to leave one of the rooms alone during a cleaning as our puppy was in there (I came home to take him out and the door was open), they scheduled viewings at times that didn't work for us despite my informing them of availability and when I let her know that didn't work and that I had already told them of this, she insulted the kennel that my puppy is in when I'm not in the house (which is perfectly acceptable for his size as he's not fully house trained yet). I have never experience such a level of unprofessionalism and would not recommend her. Can't speak for any of the other realtor's at the company.
