To my surprise making the appointment online was incredibly easy and I was able to complete everything without any need to call and speak to anybody. That was awesome! I don't have a lot of time in my day to call and go through the endless back-and-forth of trying to find a date which works. Of course with any medical provider the equality of service is the most important piece. I felt as if the doctor took the time to understand my problem and to learn what activities I wanted to get back to that I wasn't able to. He suggested physical therapy exercises that I may not have tried before and quickly made a referral to get an MRI after I told him all of the different things I had tried before coming to see them. While no one wants to go see a doctor, if you do need to see a sports medicine doctor, this is the place to go.

I think that every chiropractor is a little different and you need to find the right one for you. There is no universal chiro treatment. So with this in mind, here are the things I like about Dr. Drew: He spent a lot of time with me my first visit understanding my body, my current pains, previous injuries, what I expect from my body, and what I need out of a Dr. Really open and non-judgmental. Gives me a really gentle and confident manual adjustment. My husband (who has also been seeing him since I came home raving about my treatment) says that he gets a much stronger adjustment. Which is just how we both like it. Does tons(!) of joint and deep tissue work. He has his massage therapist certification up on his wall. So he's not just about your bones. My joints have never been so happy. Gives me good tips on things I can pay attention to help improve my body on a daily basis. And then gives me a few (approx 15 min/day) exercises and stretches to help me improve between treatments. With me, he's all about how I function as a whole and working on balancing me out. Whole body health is really important to me, and he just gets me. I've been seeing him for more than two months now and have seen a marked improvement in that time. Most of my issues are more long term changes and not intense pain that needs immediate attention. I would especially recommend him for athletes as he's really good at dealing with performance issues. I also think that he would be great for people who are a little leery about chiropractic because he's so friendly, knowledgeable, and has a great way of making you feel at ease. while I know that he's probably not right for everyone, I can't help recommending him to anyone I know that might benefit from his services.

I was scheduled to see Molly Tuesday afternoon and hobbled my sorry self into the office. She performed the most amazing and exquisitely targeted massage I've ever had. She also demonstrated and coached me with some strengthening exercises to speed up my recovery. Will I run the half marathon on July 4? I tried finding someone new and went to a chiropractor who had tons of experience and a great reputation on paper. But after a few sessions, it just didn't click. I never felt like she was really dialed into me or what I was dealing with. The appointments felt generic, like I was being run through the same routine as everyone else. The facility is great, clean, modern, and welcoming. More importantly, Dr. Josh Pettigrew really listens. He takes the time to understand what's going on, asks thoughtful questions, and actually pays attention to how your body responds. Dr. Cole spent maybe 7 minutes with me. He recommended a brace and sent me to a durable medical equipment (DME) company. I was measured for a custom brace, but the DME company needed updated orders from Dr. Cole to bill my insurance. DME representative started working with an individual at ROC, then the communication went silent. Roughly a month later we learned that the ROC representative resigned and no one monitored her emails. Found a second person to talk to at ROC and they have now gone silent. Finally reached Dr. Cole's MA and he has now gone silent. Original appointment was in June. It's now August and we (me and DME company) still have not received a response from ROC or Dr. Coles office with a response to a very simple question. I still do not have my brace. This is beyond horrible. There are many good orthopedic alternatives.

My physician prescribed physical therapy for a sciatica problem I had for years and had become so…read moreintolerable it was affecting my sleep and quality of life. I found out about Active Edge Physical Therapy from a friend or mine who had great results with that group and so I made an appointment with Chris Woods one of their physical therapists. I have to say this was the best experience and especially the most beneficial treatment I have had for my sciatica. I no longer have the "killer" pain running down my right leg and I have cut back significantly with the pain medication I had been taking. Chris identified my problem right away and began using deep movements, stretching, and strengthening to address the problem. Moreover, the home exercises he prescribed empowered me to improve my problem over a short amount of time and significantly improved my "body awareness." I continue to use these easy at-home exercises on a regular basis; they are life-long lessons that Chris provided specifically for my particular issue. Chris made the sessions both fun and educational too! I have to say too, that the front counter staff at AEPT are wonderful! They provided a complete report of what my insurance would cover BEFORE I started the treatment and were very pleasant to work with.
