Nanson will perform the surgery with the same precision and post surgical care as the other two surgeries.

Dr.Puskas is amazing - made sure I was well taken care of before and after surgery. If you need shoulder surgery - he is the best.

If I had any…read morealternatives, I would be crazy to go back to this clinic - but since I don't, I went to them again. I already knew before I even got started that I needed surgery, but I still had to go through FIVE appointments just to get the surgery scheduled. This stretched out for well over a month, with me being in pain the whole time. Every time I needed an appointment, I had to call them, talk my way past a useless robot, and then get put on hold for an obscenely long time. Then at the office, they kept me waiting 30-60 minutes past my scheduled appointment time every time. Maybe your office wouldn't be so hopelessly swamped if you didn't force people to go through a ridiculous number of unnecessary appointments. When I finally got the surgery scheduled, I had to go to a hospital very far away in Oregon City, even though there are plenty of closer options, and communication on the day before the surgery was not as clear as it should have been. On the day of the procedure, I was forced to wait outside in the cold and then walk a long distance around the outside of the hospital, while starving, all because of blatantly wrong signage on the hospital. After the surgery, they referred me to physical therapy, who refused to take my insurance even though it is a division of the same company, forcing me to enter another round of phone tag and ultimately figure PT out on my own. They gave me a brace with pads that fall off way too easily, and told me that I was required to wear it everywhere at all times. Well surprise surprise, some of the pads got lost. When I called them to ask for help replacing the pads, they were unable to help, leaving metal digging directly into my skin. I ultimately had to remake the pads myself using supplies from a crafts store. They also failed to provide me with the crutches I needed, and I had to supply my own. I needed multiple doctor's notes for my work and for the Employment Office. Are you sitting down? ROC charges you $30 every time you need a note. My insurance already paid them over $60,000, but why miss yet another opportunity to nickel-and-dime patients and kick us when we are down? I think this is disgusting and greedy (although it is not illegal). ROC subjected me to every hassle they possibly can. This experience was extremely stressful, and the whole process could have been completed in just the time it took for the surgery to be scheduled.

But this morning-I go to the lab in Tigard for some blood work for a doctor appt at the Beaverton location later in the week. I go at lunch and get checked right in. Then a few min later, I am called up and told the lab tech is taking a break after the next person so I have to come back in 40 min or come back another time. UH, should they not take care of the patients that are waiting, THEN take a break. I left thinking I would come back after work or just go to the Beaverton lab after my appointment. After doing some grocery shopping nearby. I decide to go back and see if I would be the first person the tech sees at 12:45. If not, then I would go back to work. I go in and am told I would be the first person she would see when she returns from break. So I sit and sit and sit. 15 min go by and no sign of this tech. The receptionist tells me she is checking out my chart and will be calling me in momentarily. Then I sit and watch as FIVE other people are called in--all ahead of me. The receptionist tells me I am the next one. yeah right. The tech comes out and calls yet another person that is not me. I was fed up and start leaving as the tech looks at me and asks my name and says I am the next one in line-which I am thinking is not true. There were still 4 more people sitting around and they probably were not for urgent care. By now it was the principal of the thing--they lied to me and wasted so much of my time. They wasted my entire lunch hour plus another 20 min. Be honest and just say--there are a good 10 people ahead of you when they return from break. I will never go to the Tigard lab ever again. I will only go to the Beaverton one.

Miscommunication runs rampant (patients are asked to sign up for EPIC mychart and are not responded to for messages) unprofessional staff, the provider I scheduled with, Jennifer Moshman is not skilled. Initial establishment appointment she does not give a patient feedback, did not listen to my needs, sent lab request to the wrong location twice (they do not have the ability to upload labs to labcorp or epic for some odd reason) offered a test which I did not and would not be able to complete and then took weeks to correct it, lack of communication on 6/9/26 led to an unintentional missed wellness appointment they are now billing as a missed appointment (they will never see a payment for this from me, ever) as I called and told them unforseen circumstances led to be being late in traffic to which they informed me over the phone I would still be seen, having arrived at the exact time I told them I would led to the receptionist not checking me in because she had to "check" with the back office staff, wasted 4 more minutes attempting to communicate with said back office staff only to get up from her desk and then return to tell me I would not be seen, 7/17/26 I just received an EPIC message that it would be billed as a missed appointment (funny how they are skilled in using EPIC for billing and not messaging)

Getting a total knee replaced is a serious decision, one which I did not take lightly. Being…read morerelatively new to the Portland area (we moved here in 2012) I did not have a good feeling for which orthopedist to consider. I started asking around and one name that came up again and again was, Orthopedics Northwest and Dr. Scott Grewe. So I did a little more research and decided to see if he would take my case. I had degenerative arthritis of both knees, originally diagnosed in 2010, with the left knee being the worst. It took a couple months to get an appointment, but it was clear on my first visit that a total knee replacement was indicated. We set a surgery date. His physician's assistant Scott Byers did the preoperative teaching. As a healthcare worker I provided and witnessed a lot of preoperative teaching. Scott's was the BEST I have ever heard. I knew exactly what was going to happen in the operating room, I knew exactly how my pain was going to be controlled, and I knew exactly what was expected of me. My surgery went very well with absolutely no complications. Using their pain control plan, I was off the narcotics in about 14 days, using only Tylenol and Aleve to control the pain. My physical therapy course went well. So well, that at 6 weeks post-op I scheduled my right knee with Dr. Grewe. The right knee surgery went just as well as the left. Left knee was done April 11th, right knee was done July 11th. The pain I had before surgery is GONE! I am knocking the rust off my golf game and building my walking stamina. If you are looking for a terrific orthopedic team, Orthopedics Northwest, Dr. Scott Grewe, PA Scott Byers and their assistant Nancy are THE ONES YOU WANT!!!!!

Dr Corey Vande is the finest surgeon and incredibly knowledgeable! His team there is phenomenal. From the friendly receptionists to his kind and caring team, shout out to Alicia, Lance, Sawyer and every other person I dealt with here over the past couple of months has been so professional and just a pleasure. During the most difficult time for me. Everything Doctor Corey told me about my hardware removal went exactly the way he said it would. He is kind and patient and you couldn't ask for a better surgeon to do what I needed done on my ankle. Legacy Emanuel Hospital is another example of exemplary professionalism, courteousness and kindness. Dr Corey mainly practices out of this facility but also has an outpatient clinic in Beaverton. Because the Lake Oswego location is an urgent care facility they are always quite busy but take walk-ins if you're willing to wait a bit. You won't be sorry, I highly recommend this doctor to anyone needing surgery on their lower extremities. And he is a trauma surgeon so he's incredibly smart. I felt safe, and secure from start to finish due to his professionalism and his incredible team and staff, and the absolutely fantastic staff at Legacy Emanuel. Highly recommended.

Everything went smoothly and my recovery went very well, so when I tore a tendon in my right shoulder playing golf last spring, I returned to his office for treatment. My surgery was originally scheduled for October, but my insurance company denied the claim because there were "no doctor notes attached." The office had 30 days to resubmit the claim, but they did not do so. The surgery was then rescheduled for early March. Before the procedure, my primary care physician ordered my pre-op labs and told me the surgery needed to be completed within 30 days of the lab work. The lab staff confirmed the same information. I called and emailed Dr. Bowman's office to let them know my labs had been completed, but I did not hear back for two weeks. When they finally contacted me, the surgery date they offered was beyond the 30-day timeframe. When I questioned this, the woman I spoke with told me, "Oh, that's okay, we do surgeries up to 90 days after labs are taken." I explained that both my doctor and the lab had told me otherwise, but she insisted they were wrong. After the problems with the insurance authorization, the lack of communication, and the conflicting information regarding pre-op requirements, I decided to seek care elsewhere.
