I gave two stars because the people who work there seem very nice. I've been to the NE Fremont…read morelocation in Beaumont Wilshire for two different problems over a 12 year period of time. The first time I noticed I was overcharged for my copays then months later received a refund. The second time I went there I was overcharged for copayments as well. I need to call them about the refund. What I didn't care for was I only had the physical therapist for 20 - 30 minutes. The warmup was with an assistant then I worked with the PT then was handed back to the assistant to finish the routine. The PT then works with a new client. I just had surgery and decided to go elsewhere to see if there were any differences. For starters they charged the correct copay. Then best of all I spend the entire hour with the PT. I will not be a returning customer to Therapeutic Associates, they seem to be more concerned with maximizing profits than customer care.

As another reviewer said, this is a good place to go if you don't have any goals…read more I was in the earliest phase of recovering from major shoulder surgery which has a long rehab protocol. I was apparently farmed out to assistants and aids. Each visit was chaos with at least 2 and sometimes 3 seemingly random people rotating in and out during my visit, telling me what to do, not providing much in the way of instructions or feedback. Sometimes instructions were contradictory between staff. I repeatedly asked that exercises be written down and put on their patient portal which they did not do. Most of the time I did very little therapy other than to play with hand putty. As best I could tell, there was no organized plan of therapy, or at least it was not shared with me, for the 1st phase of rehab. When I later asked about the contradictory information I was getting, the response was "well you were not made any worse". In summary, if you are serious about your rehab, this isn't the place to go.

Best chiropractor, best doggo, best overall mission statement...healthcare done right…read more I have been seeing my previous chiropractor monthly for the past three years for my lower back pain. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), he and I have the exact same work schedule, which made it difficult for me to get in for appointments so I searched for another provider and stumbled upon Evolve Performance Healthcare. What I was looking for was a long-term solution for my lower back pain and newly developed sciatic nerve pain. My lower back always feels better after an adjustment but, like clockwork, I would feel the pain flare up days before my next appointment. I needed something more than a quick fix and performance therapy sounded like it could be the answer. I filled out an inquiry on the website and received a voicemail from Dr. Baird the following day. Right off the bat, I thought it was personable that he reached out himself and is very well-spoken. Who doesn't want confidence in their providers? I decided to take advantage of their discovery visit to check out what they were really about. When I walked into the clinic for the first time, I was immediately greeted by the cutest dog--Bandit, what an adorable name! I think the first thing I said was something along the lines of "oh, just take all of my money..." And, talk about taking a personal interest in your care and experience, Dr. Baird works his own front desk. After that discovery visit and the initial examination, his approach and outlook just resonated with me. He designs custom movement and strength training plans that are tailored to your physical needs. A little expensive, however, well worth the cost. I could say that after completing my training plan in eight visits, it lessen my back pain, eliminated joint pains when working out (didn't realize I was doing squats wrong!), I am no longer fatigued at the end of the work day, and I feel stronger doing the activities that I enjoy. If you are looking for someone that will motivate you and is invested in helping you achieve your goals whether it's being pain-free, more motility to do the things you love or even just to pet the dog, this is the place you come.

Dr. Baird and team are amazing! What I love most is Dr. Baird's philosophy on aging. I went to…read moreDr. Baird for some knee pain and instead of just focusing on adjustments we talked about movement patterns and it was fascinating. I wasn't able to touch my toes when I went in and I always thought it was because of tight hamstrings, with proper movement I am able to bend over and easily touch my toes. I have taken his movement 101 class and also his Strength Mobility classes. Dr Baird is the real deal and is not only knowledgeable but cares so much for his clients. I feel lucky to have found Evolve Performance!
