Where do I start! This place has been such a blessing to my husband and his health. He has ALS and there is absolutely no treatment for this horrible illness. We stumbled into Ascent by an article of someone who had ALS and was getting. Good results with the treatments in Ascent so we decided to give it a try and have been regulars ever since. We go twice a week and my husband does the CVAC and SCENAR therapy. He does PEMF. once a week. I was diagnosed 18 months ago with a horrible, terminal illness. This condition takes your life in 24 months on average and it always wins. My team of doctors are encouraging, but they merely measure my decline. I met a young man through a pickleball friend of mine with the same disease. We were diagnosed at the same time. Having recently had knee surgery I am experiencing an increase in swelling in my leg, and after hearing the great work Heather and her team have done to help rehab others I had to try it out. Firstly they put me in the Ballancer Pro which is designed to help with massaging out the extra fluid in the legs and that paired with the Bemer PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) which helps increase blood flow to the injured area helped decrease the inflammation and increase range of motion in my knee. BEMER therapy has been so helpful to me!! I have been dealing with sesamoiditis on my left foot and it has been very painful walking and applying any kind of pressure on my foot. I was referred to Ascent by a friend to try out a treatment and see if it would help me out. Best thing ever!! I was given a post-op boot by my doctor along with ibuprofen for the pain and swelling and was told to stay off of my foot as much as possible. I loved my time doing CVC in Orange county. I did several sessions when I lived in Southern California. CVAC is a life empowering treatment. It improved my lung capacity, gave me more energy, and took away inflammation in my body. When you do CVAC, you go inside this small glass capsule. The machine takes you through various altitudes which brings more oxygen into your body. I have very little cartilage left in one knee from arthritis a skiing accident, and I play tennis 5 days a week. My hubby has been fighting a rare form of cancer called GIST for over three years. The first year and a half he responded well to his chemo treatments.
