Eventually, 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS and was told I may need fertility treatment to conceive. I tried seeking help by my OBGYN, main health care doctors, and even seeking some fertility treatment, all to receive bandaid and cookie cutter "solutions" that didn't really help treat or find the cause of my issues. After being tired of not being heard and feeling not cared for I began doing a lot of research and discovered the holistic/naturopathic world and ultimately finding Dr. Nirvana. I began seeing Dr. Nirvana July of 2024 and to this day I have not only felt the most heard and understood, but have truly been seeing results and feeling so much better. She doesn't give bandaid or cookie cutter solutions, she actually cares and works to find the root cause of your issue through detailed labs and tests. She is the sweetest and is extremely knowledgeable. In just 8 months I have improved by gut health tremendously (night and day), I have lost over 25 lbs and don't feel as much inflammation as before, I have been able to balance my insulin and lower my bad cholesterol, and with her help I've been able to start regulating several of my hormones which we discovered I had severely unbalanced due to my PCOS which have caused my irregular cycles and infertility issues. She was carful in customizing a plan just for my needs. She is also very mindful of doing things progressively to not shock your body and feel good while going through healing. While Naturopathic care is not covered by many insurances and it can get rather expensive, it is truly so WORTH IT to actually see true results and find and fix the core problem. I am very satisfied with the progress I have seen and experienced and look forward to what is ahead as I continue treatment with Dr. Nirvana. Finally, I want to give a shout out to her amazing assistant Hana as she is always so helpful and responsive to my needs! Thank you both!

She carefully reviewed my labs (both functional and conventional), explained the findings clearly, and created a personalized plan tailored to my needs rather than a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Her depth of knowledge in gut health, immune dysfunction, hormones, and inflammatory conditions is impressive. What really sets her apart, however, is her ability to connect the dots while remaining compassionate and patient. Appointments never feel rushed, and she is consistently proactive about follow-ups and next steps. If you have felt dismissed by other providers or need someone who will genuinely investigate the root causes of your symptoms, Dr. Vreeland is exceptional. I am extremely grateful for her care and highly recommend her.

I can say that she helped me with my issues on a 2/10 scale. For the amount of money that I paid, I felt like she was always rushed, didn't really care, and she didn't address the root cause of my health issues. I stopped seeing her because I felt like I kept spending money but wasn't really improving health-wise. I was only getting my surface issues remediated. She's lovely, but she wasn't a great health practitioner for me.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO CHRISTINA! OH MY GOODNESS WE FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!…read more I decided to surprise my girlfriend as one of her birthday presents so I scheduled an appointment with Magnolia wellness! I've heard such great things and we've also never had cupping done before. Funny enough three days ago she was like oh I wanna go do some cupping. I put on my grinch grin face inside my head as little did she know I already planned this out for her. It's kinda hard to find, but you'll have to look for G which is all the way in the back so make sure you drive around and it's on the first floor. From the moment that we got in everyone so positive energy and loving, we felt very much at home. It's a small and quaint little place but full of BIG HEALING ENERGY. We did the cupping, but they're all kinds of different things like massages and acupuncture. Next time, we'll definitely try the acupuncture. Overall, we had such an amazing time and they really made you feel like you were at home with Grandmas care. We'll certainly be back soon!

The entire experience at Magnolia is wonderful. The support staff is warm, thoughtful, and welcoming, and the space itself feels peaceful from the moment you walk in. As a physician interested in wellness and longevity and a woman interested in toning up and looking…read moregood, I'd say Stark is the most comprehensive program I've found since I've started my weight loss journey7 years ago. In the past 9 months I've made significant improvements in my body composition and I see in the mirror how much better my whole body looks. I'll be the first to say that I have trouble always meeting the goals set by my nutritionist but they are completely reasonable . The program isn't complicated. The initial investment isn't covered by insurance, typically and it's expensive but includes a extremely thorough panel of labs you will never get from your regular doc. The naturopath doc reviews them with you. Then steps, water, tracking foods/macros, personal training twice a week, body scan every six weeks and pow wow with your dietician or health coach every six weeks. Everyone really seems to care about your progress. My trainer pushes me but we laugh a lot so it's hard work but fun. Their naturopaths are very knowledgeable. And the chiropractor is also excellent. Both my health coach and dietician are extremely helpful with holding me accountable. I have nothing negative to say about this program. I completely and without hesitation recommend Stark. It's not feasible financially for everyone but if you can swing it, you're investing in yourself, in a healthier future.

He has treated veterans for PTSD and trauma pro-bono once a month and is a Tai Chi master offering a personalized class for all levels at the Newport Beach Lifeguard Tower 52 on Thursday mornings from 8 to 9:30 AM. Everyone who goes LOVES that class, experiencing the same focus and attention he gives to his patients. Also a favorite of kids and babies, Dr. Karaba is great with them... another of so many skills. I am so grateful I was referred to him a decade ago. After many years of suffering with Western Medicine, one of the many things that was missed, Dr. Karaba tested for heavy metal poisoning and mercury showed off the chart! I was unable to tolerate chelation and he found a way to detoxify and eliminate it safely and it worked! He has saved my life more than once when Western medicine wasn't able to find answers. You will be so glad you called him both for staying physically and emotionally healthy and for solving medical quandaries. Some have mentioned experiencing a longer wait time for your appointment, which can be true. It doesn't aggravate me as it makes me feel like he's a very caring and busy physician who gives each patient the time and attention they really need. He clearly cares about his patients and won't cut anyone short when someone needs his help. You can call ahead and ask if he's running a little late and take a book to read -then it's easier not to worry about it. Add about 45 minutes to an hour to your appointment time if it makes you feel better. You will never get this kind of time, attention and healing power anywhere else! He books up fast. Sometimes you can get right in and sometimes it takes a couple of weeks. Overall, he is definitely worth the wait.
