He also tries to help you by advocating lifestyle choices - like good nutrition, instead of just prescribing medications (unless it is absolutely necessary of course). His staff is also very good, and they are always willing to help you final cost effective alternative means to get your blood drawn. In my case, I had wanted to use an outside lab (not affiliated with the hospital), so it will be covered by my insurance. They just faxed the lab order to the lab of my choosing. This ended up saving me hundreds of dollars.

She couldn't say enough about how well he took care of her and her family before they moved out of the area. We decided to give him a try. My family has been seeing him ever since. He is great. He does ask the right questions and answers your questions if you have them. He's very personable. His new location which they have been at for several years now is a one stop shop so to speak so if you need an X-ray or blood draw it's far more convenient now than before. She called me back a week later and said Dr. Kalenowski is going to bill my insurance even after his pointless checkup.
