He's clearly very well trained and knows exactly where and how to take samples. Even with lower levels of mold, he correctly identified contamination and provided solid remediation guidance. My case involved whole-house contamination, and Adam spent significant time helping me understand both cleanup and long-term prevention. When I started my career as an "Animal Health Technician" and working in the veterinary field, I quickly learned that this laboratory became a valuable resource for covering all aspects of analyzing blood work, urinalysis, fecal samples, fluid analysis, biopsies, histopathology, cytology, even post mortem exams. Unlike human laboratories, they work 24 hours a day to get lab results reported back to each veterinary hospital, often within 12 to 24 hours after receiving the samples (sometimes sooner!). That's a huge turn around time in my book! Beloved pets that have become sick, critically ill and/or hospitalized, that are waiting for their lab work, can hopefully get answers to what conditions they are dealing with as soon as possible. Let's face it, animals have a shorter life span than the average human being and a quick response back can mean quicker answers and treatment for our pets. Sadly, not all lab reports can give good or even helpful news, but at least questions are answered and decisions can be made on what should be done next. That's how important IDEXX has become in the daily routine of most veterinary practices. When I have to call them by phone with additional questions, requests or consultations, the staff is always helpful and pleasant. They also have a very educational web site that is constantly updated with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Throughout all the many years of working closely with them via phone or web site, I have often found myself inspired to be a lab tech someday, but never felt I was experienced enough. I have even tried a few times to apply for a job at this facility, but was never considered. Now that I'm up there in age, this dream has dwindled. But that's enough about me... Located…read moredirectly on Greenback Lane (in Citrus Heights) and just a couple blocks east of I-80, the "Sutter Medical Plaza Greenback Lab" has been my go-to place dating back to 2023. Parking here is relatively easy to find as the dedicated lot is spacious enough to accommodate a few dozen vehicles at any given time. Their hours are also quite reasonable as they are open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 5:00pm while being closed on weekends. My most recent visit was during the morning of Friday 12/11/2025 at around 9:00am. I checked in one day prior on the My Health Online app through Sutter Health which was a very seamless process as they had a ton of open timeslots available. After entering the facility, you make an immediate walk to the right, sign-in, and wait (which was less than 5 minutes). And since this was for Lab bloodwork, I made sure they did a Lipid (cholesterol level) profile, comprehensive metabolic panel, prostate antigen test, and complete blood cell count. Once I was seen by a medical specialist, they checked my vitals (heart & blood pressure) and weight. Since I fasted 12 hours prior to coming here, I got a syringe in my left arm (which was just a slight "pinch") and was on my way. Total time from when I arrived to when I exited the building was less than 10 minutes. Overall, the front desk staff and nurses were all very friendly and accommodating. All in all, the "Sutter Medical Plaza Greenback Lab" was a fairly positive experience with no hiccups or issues. My rating, an above average four stars.

He did a full walkthrough of the house, sampled every occupied room plus the crawlspace and an outdoor control, and swabbed the actual growth in the attic. What sold me was the attic analysis. He didn't just say "you have mold, go fix it." He mapped exactly where it was, north and northwest side, low on the slope, nothing on the south plane, and explained why that pattern points to condensation rather than a roof leak. That single insight changed how we're approaching the whole repair, because fixing the surface without fixing the ventilation would have put us right back here in a couple years. The report came back fast, four days, with 23 photos, lab results from an accredited lab, and plain-English explanations of what every number meant. Best part for us as parents with a newborn: all four living-space air samples came back clean, so we knew immediately the attic wasn't affecting the rooms we actually live in. That was a huge relief. He's inspection-only and doesn't do remediation, which I appreciate. No upsell, no scare tactics, no financial reason to make the problem sound worse than it was. He also flagged what he couldn't confirm rather than guessing, which honestly made me trust the parts he was confident about a lot more. If you're dealing with a mold question and want a straight answer from someone with no stake in the repair, call Gursh. Worth every dollar.

I had a great experience here. I had an MRI of the brain…read morelasting just under 40 minutes with IV contrast. This facility is the only one in Sutter in our area that has an ultrasound and nurse on staff for visualizing veins for the IV insertion. I asked! As soon as I was dressed in the hospital gown, Carly was the nurse who ably, quickly, and painlessly put in the IV line in a couple minutes. She had a competent and kind nature. I was very grateful as my MRI in February required 9 tries with lots of pokes and 45 minutes for a successful IV placement-all this happened while I was in the head cage midway through the MRI and I had to remain still. A bit of trauma remains from that experience. Jim was the MRI technician and he was no-nonsense, reassuring, professional, and all around excellent. The 3T MRI machine at this location was super comfortable and the head cage which keeps your head still was ample in size compared to others I've been in. The comfort factor of the machine was excellent. They had a film playing nature scenes and a radio station selection which helped to distract me. The MRI experience was 5/5 Signage to the imagining center was so poor we had to drive in a circle to find the suite which added unnecessary stress for a time sensitive check in. We followed the arrows but were led astray. Imaging is at the very front- and there are two separate imaging suites to top it off. There are three different medical entities in three very large multi suite adjacent buildings- Kaiser, Sutter, and UC Davis. It was also confusing to leave the imaging center to the lobby after getting dressed...again, better signs would help a lot. You are a bit confused after some of these tests.

At the time of this review, walk in patients are not allowed until 8 am (the facility opens at 4:45…read moream). I arrived ten minutes before 8, was checked in, and told I had an hour wait. I was finally seen at 9:30 (all those Urgent Care patients again....) So the key is to show up very early (on a weekday, btw) and bring a good book. The poor technician was rushing around like crazy. Ghastly.
