I have had to deal with two hospices and ProCare is by far the best. We were in crisis, reeling by the changes that were taking place in our family. But knowing that there was support to take us every step of the way was so comforting. The first hospice was all business and routine, and everyone acted as if it were their job. They were sweet and all, but you could tell it was a job for them. ProCare is different--night and day. Nurses took time to really listen to the way we felt. If we needed extra care, they were there. I felt as if we were the only family they had and that they took special interest in us. They wanted to provide anything they could do to help us. The social worker seemed genuinely interested in our family and helped us find the resources we needed. She would lean forward, and listen to every word we said. Even though we were not religious, the chaplain visits cheered us up as she came with a keyboard, and sang oldies with us. All the staff became friends, so that every one of them was there to talk about deeper things when we needed them. We particularly grew fond of the cheerful aides who gave our dad bed baths and rubbed him all over with lotion. They started out coming a couple times a week, but their visits got more frequent at the end. There was also a wonderful volunteer who sat with our dad while our hired caregiver took a shower, a nap or a walk. She stopped coming one day and we called and found there had been a misunderstanding. We missed her and was so happy that was straightened out and she started coming again. She was super---mature, giving, outgoing lady. I am so grateful to ProCare for the wonderful service in a difficult time.

I had a colonoscopy for the first time and was nervous about the procedure. Dr. Daneshgar and his team went above and beyond to reassure me that I was in good hands, and I was! His staff was so incredibly kind and caring towards me that it helped calmed my nerves during the procedure. I absolutely love his staff- seriously the nicest people ever! After the colonoscopy I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis. I was on medication and recovering from home. Every single day (including weekends) Dr. Daneshgar called or texted me asking how I was feeling. Do you know any other doctor who would do that?! He truly cares about his patients and I am so grateful that he is my doctor. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Since my condition was so severe, I was admitted in the hospital. Dr. Daneshagar called the hospital ahead of time and had already secured me a bed and made all the arrangements. All I had to do was check in. Now, I've never been admitted in a hospital before and dealing with a new disease is hard enough and having my doctor with me every step of the way made this entire situation easier and made me feel like I was in good hands. I was in the hospital for 5 days undergoing more aggressive treatment and infusions. Every day Dr. Daneshagar would visit me in the hospital to see how I was doing. He is the most caring and most genuine doctor that I have ever met. He is the best in his field and knows what he is doing when it comes to your health. I am so thankful that I have him as my doctor. I am now at home and feeling 100x better than when I had first met Dr. Daneshagar. A special THANK YOU to your staff!! He did not try to look at me for 10 minutes and rush me out the door like all my doctors have done. I haven't had any medical insurance for a long time and at 50 years old and somehealth issues I'm way overdue for a checkup. He saw me late (a 6 p.m. appointment). I was his last patient of the day and he did not rush anything.
