We had two problems we needed fixed. First, There was a drip in the guest bath shower/tub. Paul replaced the inside of the knobs that fixed the problem. Second, we had a leak in sink drain in master bath which was on third level from basement. When water drained from the sink we had a puddle form in basement, two floors down. Paul A came for the first appointment and traced the drain pipe all the way up. Luckly the pipe ran behind an enclosed wet bar on 2nd floor so my husband took the wall out and the leak was not in that area. Next Paul moved to 3rd level. Paul and my husband removed the sink and counter top, cut a hole in the wall behind the cabinet with a saw and found the leak. A nail had hit the plastic pipe and rusted out over the years causing a hole. In order to get to the connections the cabinet back had to be ripped out. Paul said he could come back once my husband had the cabinet back taken out. When the cabinet back had been removed I called the office of ASAP Plumbing and Drain and told them to reschudle a visit for Paul A to return and repair the leak. I will have to say Paul A. was a pleasant young man, very professional and knew what he was doing. If I have another plumbing problem, I will call ASAP Plumbing and Drain and request Paul A. to service the call. I spoke with Emily on the phone and she, too, was very pleasant and professional on the phone. I will never use another plumber again. I had a toilet overflow and wasn't sure if it was a main line clog or a septic issue. I called Paul on a Monday morning. He listened to my problem and suggested I open the cleanout pipe outside to relieve the pressure. He offered to come to my house at 8pm that day to take a look. Needing someone sooner, I had another plumber come out that afternoon. I was not impressed with their customer service and did not have them work on the problem. I called Paul again the following morning and he said he could be there by 6pm. He called at 5 asking if it was okay if he showed up 30 mins early. He arrived promptly at 5:30 and greeted me with a smile. We discussed the problem and he showed me prices on a price sheet. He gave me a verbal estimate, then realized the price for the service on his price sheet was higher than what he said, but he honored his first number. What an honest guy. He went through options with me and fixed the problem promptly. He spent time making sure the problem was actually fixed and gave me great maintenance and prevention advice. He referred me to a septic company for septic maintenance. He tested my water pressure and even checked out my water heater for me on his way out. Tonight was the second time I have used Paul. The first time he replaced polybutylene pipe that ran from the main hook up at the street, where it was leaking, up to the house. Since I had to cut the water off, he came the next day. He worked well into the night in very hot conditions so that he could finish and I would have water. Tonight he came after he finished his last job to check for a ventilation problem in the guest bathroom that had been noted on an inspection report. He said he would come after his last job tonight. I told him that he could wait until Monday, but he said he didn't want me to have to worry about it over the weekend. He arrived around 8 pm, and he called to say he would be here by then. He checked for the problem and couldn't find what had been noted in the inspection. He wrote up an invoice explaining what he had done and charged me a minimal service fee. This guy! This is the guy you want to call when you need plumbing help. When I called the phone number listed at 8:50pm, I honestly wasn't expecting to get an answer. But no leaving a message and waiting for a response or any difficult process. Paul answered the phone right away, which I appreciated even more so when I could hear little voices in the background- he was obviously at home with his family. He asked what the issue was, where I lived, and was up front with telling me what the service charge would be. After giving him the ok, he said he'd be at my house in 45 minutes. He followed through and when he arrived, he very professionally introduced himself, and put on shoe covers before stepping into my home. He came prepared with the exact part that I needed replaced. We had a broken stem in our hot water knob or handle on our Garden Tub upstairs. It broke just before News Years 2019. I contacted ASAP Plumbing on New Years Eve via Yelp. I really wasn't expecting a reply since it was New Year's Eve and I figured, like most people, Paul and his family were gearing up for the evening festivities. However to my surprise he he answered back very promptly. New Year's Day was on Tuesday and Paul was at my house early Thursday morning. He replaced a part in both my hot and cold water knobs. The brand we had in the tub was no longer in business, but Paul went all the way to Alpharetta (We live in Sugar Hill) and found a match for our tub. We have looked and searched for a plumber for approximately 2 months and then one day (last Friday) I got on the internet and searched and looked again and picked ASAP out of many choices, simply because it stated that they would get back to me in 10 minutes time. I called ASAP, spoke with a gentleman by the name of Paul, we scheduled an appointment and he was at our home early the next morning like we scheduled. Incredible experience with ASAP. Had a leaking shower head. Trying to replace cartridge I broke a pipe in the wall. With no water at 3:30pm was afraid we were stuck for the night. Spoke to Paul A. who said he could make it at 5pm. A little before 5 he texted he would be there at 5:15. Text wasn't necessary but it showed his attention to detail and professionalism. When I got home and open the garage I found river that appear to come from my water heater. I search for plumber and thank god I got ASAP Plumbing and Drain contact information. AWESOME!!!! Paul came out on a Sunday night after me and my dad screwed up trying to install a pressure regulator. After many times trying to install it we even messed up the main shut off in the house where it was now leaking. He came out in a short amount of time after we called. Our water shut off valve under the kitchen sink was leaking from the handle, and we needed it replaced before our home inspection.
