Rarely in all my years have I run across a business as dedicated to client satisfaction, to excellent work, and to exceeding expectations as ASAP Movers. This is the kind of service you hope for in your dealings with a company. From owner Kasey to manager Kyle to movers David #1, David #2, and Steve this was the smoothest, most personable, most professional, most reassuring move I have ever experienced. Kasey came out to the house to do the estimate. He was completely upfront about the charges and the final bill ended up being exactly what he said it would be. No hidden charges or add-ons that I have experienced with a couple of big name companies. The move itself was seamless. The morning of the move I was so tired from weeks of down-sizing, sorting and packing I could barely string enough words together to form a sentence. When David called to tell me they would be at the house in 40 minutes he must have noticed my exhaustion because when I tried to tell him about some things that I didn't know how to pack he said, "Don't worry about anything. When we get there we will take care of everything for you." I don't know about you but I think I have waited all my adult life for someone to say," We will take care of everything for you." I almost cried. And they did take care of everything, from my great grandmother's ornate antique pump organ to an ingenious way to pack some of my quilting things, to lamps and patio furniture, to my husband's crappy old hand tools, they handled everything with respect and care. They were almost ninja-like in their ability to work fast without a lot of fan fare or effort. And all the while they were personable, cheerful, and just a lot of fun. David drove the truck up to from California to Whidbey Island Washington and arrived exactly when he said he would this morning. My daughter and son-in-law were there to meet him and were astounded at how well wrapped and protected the furniture was. They also noted David's good humor and efficiency. This is a man who really likes his job and the company he works for. What a positive difference that can make in an effort like this. I recommend ASAP Movers with no hesitation whatsoever. We used ASAP to move from Los Angeles to Los Osos in November. It was a three day process, as I needed help packing, so they came on our first day and packed the kitchen, bathrooms and living room. They also shrink-wrapped all the furniture, so when day two arrived, they came to the house in the morning and moved everything into the truck, with only the bedroom to disassemble and the wardrobe boxes to fill. It was very organized. We had a team of six and two trucks. I met one of the trucks at our storage unit (I put a bunch of furniture and boxes into storage to declutter during the home sale process) that morning as well, to load that up. The team, let by Robert, was great. They were agreeable and jovial but really all about the work. In the moments of downtime everyone was able to give us good tips on our new neighborhood and the best burritos and pizza. The third day we met them at the new (temporary) house in Los Osos. We were pretty organized, as this is a temporary home, we marked our stuff that wasn't going to go back into their proper rooms, but stay on the lower level or in the garage. So the move in was pretty simple and quick (though we felt bad that there was a lot of stairs and a steep driveway). We'd never done a big multi-day move like this and certainly never hired movers before, so we were really pleased and relieved that it went so smoothly. The packing they did was great, they l labeled things well, so when we unpacked the kitchen, I was able to leave some things (like the box that had the stand mixer and sheet pans) still boxed. OrShea was able to help me plan out the move and strategize whether getting a rental with space to store everything was more cost effective than putting our stuff into storage and just taking a furnished home. His quote was great, a little overestimated for the packing part, which meant that we ended up under-budget for the whole move even after we tipped the guys. We're in escrow on a new permanent home and we plan to hire them back (hopefully the same team!) for that move. The move started with an estimate from Orshea, who was quite professional and left me feeling as though this move could occur without alcohol or suicidal ideation. We emptied a 2,700 sq. ft. house and a four-car, two-story barn into a 1,700 sq. ft. house with a two-car garage 400 miles away. At the very least we were overwhelmed. Mostly, we were just paralyzed. Our packing crew included Josh, Gary, Juan, Joseph and Kevin. Within 45 minutes it was apparent that they knew what they were doing and would not be requiring my supervision. Occasionally they asked for direction and there were a few items that I requested be specially packed but other than that, these guys had it in the bag. They worked well as a team and nobody complained even as they wrapped more kitchen appliances/serving pieces/dishes than any three families could ever use in a lifetime. The next day, the loading/delivery crew consisted of Jonathon, Stephen and Brandon. They showed up knowing that we had a piece of furniture (buffet) that was large, awkward and had sentimental value so apparently the two teams even communicate well. The loading went as well as the packing. The only small hiccup was that some things that were upstairs in the barn got loaded that should have stayed. That was actually my fault because I didn't separate the stacks very well and I was simply too tired to be up there with them when they were loading. No harm done though. On day three they showed up in Las Vegas to deliver. We couldn't be there but a friend was on site to open the house for them. She reports that they still had the same positive attitudes and that again this crew required some direction but not supervision. Nothing was broken, the furniture is all in one piece. We haven't unpacked the artwork yet but based on what we observed, I'm not anticipating any problems. A huge thank you to all of the guys who worked on this move. well let me start off if your looking for movers that are professional, friendly, treat your items as if they were theirs don't evevn waste your time looking any further! so Fernando and Sam were my team to help pack and load their truck in Shell Beach. I had no idea what to expect but what I was about to experience was the shock of my life. Not only did they load all my treasures with extra care they knew exactly how to care and place them. I was like am I dreaming or what? well they did this part fast and efficient it made me wonder how they did I'd It? So the next day after the 5 plus hour drive the delivered the goods at 8:15 am with the same precision and care as they loaded it. What really blew me away was Fernando was solo on this part bu had called 2 helpers. Fernando asked me where every piece was going to be placed. I mean any where I wanted anything it was place exactly where I wanted it! This is white glove treatment for beer money! I can't even express the gratitude towards Fernando as he was so amazing. I called other local movers in the area and they were double the price if not more with no placement of furniture where you wanted it. So the choice is yours. ASAP Movers moved our household goods on Friday, December 21, 2018, arriving a few minutes earlier than the agreed upon time. This was great! The move was textbook perfect ... could not have been any better. The professionalism started with my first inquiry about our move, to the "quote not to exceed" a specific dollar amount provided by OrShea, to the actual move with supervisor Sam and and additional five-man team providing the moving services. Wish I could remember all the names to give credit to ALL the movers on Friday ... I remember Bryce, Raul, and apologize to those whose names I don't remember. You and your supervisor know who you are. You all introduced yourselves upon arriving at our home, complete with a handshake, and repeating this process at the end of the move, wishing us good luck in our new home. These guys were great! Very professional, on time and most importantly took great care with our valuable items. I almost booked with another company who had good reviews on Yelp, however the 3rd party trucking company they were going to use for our long distance move had horrible reviews! I highly recommend doing your homework. This move was a little challenging since I was in Arizona and the items being moved were in California. I contacted ASAP movers and Shandie answered the phone. I explained our situation and concern about choosing a mover who would take care of our valuable items. My aunt had passed suddenly and I was helping my mother thru a very emotional time collecting my aunts things. These items have great sentimental value to my mother. Shandie was very understanding and helped me coordinate this move from Arizona. She explained their door to door service and guaranteed time of pick up and delivery. We met David, Joe and Scott on the morning of the move, they were on time! They took great care wrapping the furniture and other items for the move. David transported the items and met my mother in Arizona the next day, on time. My mother raved about how professional David was and the great care he took with these valuable items. I moved from a town house to an apartment in the same apartment community at the end of June 2012. The distance was literally 30 paces (for my short legs) and I also needed to move some items to a storage unit. I contacted ASAP on the recommendation of a family member. I spoke with Kasey about a week or so prior to my move. He said that even though I needed him at the end of the month and on a weekend, he could do the move on a Saturday around 3:00. He quoted me a reasonable flat hourly rate. When I asked about a "senior" discount age restriction and he said he would apply the discount to my price. Much to my delight, on the day of my move, I received a call from the movers at 10:30 to let me know that they were running early and could do my move.... "ASAP". This was perfect for me and they arrived shortly after. The two young men were polite, nice and just plain fun. They were aware that I was under a time constraint and I did not want to go over the minimum time. They finished the apartment move and then followed me to my storage unit efficiently. During his visit to review what I would be moving, James Magers offered outstanding value at a very competitive price, Between then & moving day, he responded promptly to all my questions. On moving day, Fernando & crew arrived in time, & he was especially accommodating in matching the order of the loading to my special needs while maintaining their efficiency. As planned, Fernando phoned the night before scheduled day of unloading to coordinate the time of arrival the next morning. Again, he was supportive of our special needs, in this case, to have the boxes placed in three different locations off the truck - some adjacent to two vehicles near the van, some in a storage unit inside my building & most in the respective rooms as marked in my second floor apartment up an elevator & down the hall. Above all, things appeared to be packed carefully on the truck, and handled with care while being transported from my house to the truck, & from the truck to their respective destinations here. As an example, my apartment manager observed it was rare to see to movers place protective padding on the doorways as done by Fernando. Professional, friendly, hard-working, careful, thoughtful, and amazing. Those are some of the adjectives my wife and I said to each other as the ASAP movers left our new home in Nipomo after moving us from our former home in Arroyo Grande. OrShea Davis gave us the initial quote and I was very impressed by his professionalism and thoroughness. He saw everything and made sure he knew whether we wanted it moved or not. He told us the quote would be the maximum we would pay, it could even be less. On the day of the move, each crew member came in and introduced themselves and immediately got to work. Like a choreographed dance, they laid protective mats on the floor, wrapped our furniture, carefully loaded it. Two trucks in all. Upon arrival at our new home, they all moved in concert, efficiently putting all of our things EXACTLY where we wanted them. The team leader installed our washer/dryer with no problem, he put felt feet on our chairs to protect our floor. They even gave our dog Tucker a bag of treats. This was our second experience with ASAP movers. Every element of our move from the first contact and quote from Kasey to the arrival of the wonderful, clean, non smoking team of movers...was perfect. Dee knows how to plan out a move like no one I have ever seen. It is amazing how he knows exactly from the first piece placed in the truck to the last, how the whole house full of items will fit. The trucks are clean and well maintained and the staff could not be better. Everything arrived to our new home (both moves without any damage. All our beautiful furniture pieces where placed exactly where we wanted them (that Brian is so strong and nice!), and we were consulted with the placement of every single piece down to the smallest box. I will admit that before our first move we got quotes from two moving companies. Not only was I concerned about moving men "running from place to place" with my fragile china (this was a selling point????), but the quote I received was 4 TIMES what ASAP movers quoted me. Stop looking, ASAP Movers is the best moving company I've ever worked with. I normally don't write reviews about companies but I was so impressed with ASAP Movers that I had too. I moved from SLO to Tempe Arizona and I called around for prices and ASAP Movers was $1750 cheaper than anything I could find. I've done a few long distance moves before and I thought because I was going with the cheapest company that I would get poor service and this process would be a headache. Boy was I wrong. The person who helped me put in my reservation was incredibly friendly and professional. They had great recommendations about what to do and what to expect. I asked for a specific time and date for my stuff to arrive at my new residence and they were more than happy to do it. They even offered to show up a day early if I wanted!! When I was planning my move from Los Osos to Pasadena, I got three quotes from movers. The big-name local company I contacted quoted me twice as much as ASAP movers. I also got a quote from a one-man operation that was half the price, but felt unreliable. I decided to go with ASAP movers because of their professionalism and their cost-efficiency. The moving experience was as smooth as it goes. I had outlined ahead of time that I needed to move both a storage unit and my apartment. This meant loading the storage unit first, loading the apartment, and then unloading at the new storage unit in Pasadena, and then unloading at the new apartment. It all went off without a hitch. Both they and I were fully prepared to transport the boxes and furniture and it was great! I especially loved that I didn't have to pack up the things in my furniture - they just wrapped them up in plastic wrap and moved them for me as is. The movers well exceeded our expectations. We had never used movers before and now I will never move without movers. Everyone was very professional. The whole ASAP experience from beginning to end was exceptional. So many things were done so well, but I would like to bring attention to a few things that really made it great. It started with your outstanding sales manager, Orshea Davis, who was extremely professional and polite. On move day, each mover came up and personally introduced themselves with a firm handshake and good eye contact. We expected to overhear what I would term "mover talk" at some point throughout the move, but it never happened. Not once did we hear a foul word, coarse language, vulgar conversation, or witness lewd behavior. This was unexpected. I was addressed as "Sir" every time conversation was engaged and my family and I were treated like and felt like royalty. I could not have asked for a better nor easier pack-up and move experience. From my initial phone inquiry with OrShea Davis to the final day, it was handled professionally and, most importantly, I was personally treated with respect and care. They were prompt in arriving, worked diligently, were friendly and nice. They used the best packing materials and didn't skimp on them either. When they finished wrapping my antique dining room table, you'd never have guessed what it was! Recently hired ASAP to pack up and move all contents of a 2300 sq ft SLO home into two Morro Bay storage units. Because of the number of POD units required to move these same contents last year, I was skeptical when Orshay assured me that they would fit in the two storage units. I was quoted a great NOT TO EXCEED price and was very pleasantly surprised when 3 of their guys packed up the entire household in about 5 hours, and then on another day 4 guys filled two very large moving trucks, drove to MB and proceeded to fit everything into storage...with a bit of extra space to spare. The quality of packing and wrapping/protecting the furniture was amazing; the best I've seen. The way they fit it all into storage was artistic. And the workers were amazingly friendly and funny. Five Star Service from Fabian & Chris! They delivered Excellent White Glove Service for the company where I purchased a new bed. They took away the old CA King mattress and set up the new Queen size bed. All this in a 2nd story apartment with a narrow winding staircase and slanted roof. I was their first stop of the day yet when they encountered a glitch, they patiently took the time to find a solution in an efficient manner rather than rushing things. I think Chris called it "ASAP Smart". They even took away a few other things that I wanted to get rid of for a nice small extra charge. Now that's going above and beyond! From the beginning when Scott reached out to schedule the delivery to the middle when Fabian & Chris worked as a team to problem solve, then all the way to the end when Fabian took the time to make sure they had completed a job well done, I knew that I was the recipient of one of the best and most professional services on the Central Coast! read more
