Creekside Cafe is the lunch joint for the Prominent Pointe Office Park…read more Prominent Pointe is a restaurant desert. So you either brownbag your lunch from home, get in your car and drive, or eat at Creekside. Fortunately, Creekside is pretty good. You may be trapped but this is being trapped in a good way. * * * Creekside is run by a Mexican mother daughter team. The mother has been running Creekside for over 20 years. In its own way, Creekside is a legitimate local institution. The menu is breakfast tacos in the morning, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Salads, Sandwiches and the Occasional Hot Plate for Lunch. This is a health food restaurant - With health not being defined in a Yuppie way with tofu and sprouts. This is healthy eating as defined by a Mexican mother Who is filled with common sense and knows what is good for you. She serves no French fries. She serves no regular potato chips. Your side dish options are either a banana or baked potato chips. My daily special was what was listed on the menu as a healthy spinach tortilla wrap. This was a green spinach tortilla filled with mostly with iceberg lettuce with some grated cheese, some diced fresh tomato and some commercial ham. The wrap was small. It was totally filling. It tasted fresh. It tasted good. This was a completely reasonable sensible everyday lunch that did not cost much, was low calorie, got me my vegetables and was pretty decent. Mom was taking good care of me. If there had been a place like this near my office building, I would have eaten here all the time. The Prominent Pointe people are lucky to have this place. * * * The Prominent Point landlords do not give Creekside real estate consistent with the "eat fresh and prosper" aesthetic of the mother-daughter team. The entire office complex is modern, bland, stark and corporate. The actual indoor space given to Creekside is minimal with just enough room for a few functional tables. There are outdoor tables that look nice for good weather days. There is an indoor multi-purpose seating area for tenants next to Creekside with a computer bar with stools, a few restaurant like booths, and some regular tables. The decorating style is strictly hospital cafeteria. The multi-purpose eating area is probably nicer than a cubicle and less nice than most restaurants you have ever been in. It feels grimly like work - Or more particularly - "Get Back To Work. What Are You Doing Down Here?" The Creekside Cafe is not where you want to take the love of your life for a long soulful conversation about your future - and maybe marrying and having kids. You could check your spreadsheets on your tablet while you eat your sandwich as long as you are back at your desk by 12:15. * * * Still, if Prominent Pointe is where you are going to earn your paycheck, and do your best to get things done for your employer, The food at Creekside will help you be all that you can be. My wrap along with a diet soda would have been just fine next to my computer And I would not have been so full that I was groggy, or so underfed that I wanted to make a break for a vending machine at 2 pm. Work food is not always fun food, But this is work food that will keep you alive and going. You can use your paycheck to go to the Cheesecake Factory.

I think they need to update their menu as it was overpriced before we sat down to order. Some items do not exist on the menu either from what I wanted from seeing the online menu did not exist. The food was good but wait time for the food to be served after ordering was at least 30 minutes. I thought it nice enough but pretty overpriced for Dripping Springs. Nice ambiance however! Food tasty but a the sauce a little salty on my chicken marsala,

Service was one point. The food was presented to feed your eyes before tasting. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. My husband loved the fried bone in pork chop with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I had the special which was chipotle grilled shrimp on a bed of crisp potatoes with a chipotle seasoned sweet potatoes and avocado purée. It was delicious. I wish though that the avocado puree was drizzled on top of the dish instead of on the bottom. That way each bit would have a little of the creamy puree. Looking forward to visiting again.

They gave us a small scoop of pimiento cheese with 2 crackers. It's zesty and creamy and great to have an amuse-bouche before our appetizer came out. We loved the smashed guacamole with cotija cheese and pumpkin seeds ($11). The tortilla chips were so thin and perfectly roasted. So good! I ordered the Texas coast crispy fried shrimp ($22). It was perfectly cooked with lots of crunch. I think there were 8 shrimp. I loved the jalapeño tartar dipping sauce. I skipped the fries and for more black beans instead. What I should have done is gotten more slaw instead. That slaw a medley of red cabbage, green cabbage, carrots and cilantro - it was so well seasoned. Great food, amazing service, fun setting. Loved this spot!

Upon arrival, our supervisors provided us with a day pass to the spa which included, access to the grounds, trail access, pickleball access, library access, breakfast, coffee/tea, an hour long massage and a boxed lunch. We started at the pickleball courts and we were the only ones out there. The staff provided us with pickleball equipment so don't worry if you don't have any! After a few rounds, we then went to the spa to get our massage. In the massage building there were four separate rooms and a bathroom. Everything was clean and smelled amazing. A male masseuse then guided me to our room and ensured I was comfortable and asked if I had any areas I wanted to focus on. The massage was INCREDIBLE! My peers had nothing but great things to say about their experience as well. One masseuse was even experienced in pre-natal massages. The boxed lunch meal was such a delicious treat. It came with a sandwich, cookie, drink, chips and a salad. After lunch, a few of us walked some trails and sat around the fire pit. I would recommend sage hill a hundred times! If you're looking for a weekend getaway, a date night, team bonding, or some quick personal self care, Sage Hill is it!

Every detail encourages guests to slow down, relax, and soak in the outdoors. The sunsets here are absolutely stunning! We stayed at their "Ranch House" which sleeps 7! It was extremely spacious and had a large backyard with a porch, hot tub, fire pit, and a hammock too! It was so relaxing being out in the hill country and being able to relax with our friends! We were even able to see deer right in front of our place! To add to the comfort, each person staying on the property gets a 3-course dinner and a hearty breakfast-- all included with our stay. The food was so good, and we were told it's farm-to-table! We opted to eat our dinner outside and we had the most perfect view of the sunset! There's so much to explore--I wish I could've done it all. I was only here for one night so I missed out on the Pickleball court, hiking trails, and spa. I definitely hope to be back soon, it was exactly what I needed to reset
