Stopped here for a personal parrillada and it was absolutely perfect as it had a little of everything ( meat, chicken,adobada,beans, chorizo and nopales ) and I added 2 tripe tacos ( tacos de tripa ) ... extra protein , not greasy. I've been to this location, one other time in my life. It has to be one of the best type of spots in Mexcali. The facility is super clean, including the restrooms. You get your food fairly quickly after ordering. Food is flavorful, the sauces are delicious with different levels of heat. My wife and kids tried this for the first time after tried many taco spots in LA and in Sacramento California. They also said they have never had tacos this delicious in their life. read more

We used to go to tacos ocotlan, but last time we went, back in December, those weren't that great of quality anymore. Coming back to mexicali today, we wanted tacos and my Tia that lives here said this place was good. She wasn't kidding. Okay, today was the third time here. This time we came in to order a Parrillada for dinner and some Carne Asada tacos for lunch while we waited. The six occupants in our vehicle had two tacos each, that's twelve for $20. People, the meat was freshly cut and well seasoned without a speck of grease on anything I chewed and swallowed. The tortillas that enveloped my protein goodness, were barely created and they were warm and flavorful. Now, we have a feast to dig into, which includes more Asada, Chicken and Al Pastor. if you guys thought "church" think that this place is the GOD of tacos. I can't wait to warm up dinner. read more

This has always been THE place for great tacos in Mexicali. But lately they have lowered the quality of their food, especially the meat. It it tougher and has more nerve pieces that are impossible to chew. They still have great salsas, tortillas, and aguas frescas, but everything else has slipped. I decided to order 3 of the vulcan. These are very similar to a tostada. My choice for carne was pork. They brought out a tray of various types of salsas and guacamole. The order was out in a short amount of time. The 3 vulcans were larger than I expected. The meat was good and was perfectly seasoned. The tortilla was crispy, but not crumbly. If you happen to stop by Mexicali, this is one of the Taquerías you MUST do. It's a few minutes from the border, and guess what? They have a 24/7 drive thru as well (not too common over there). It is always packed and for a good reason, their food is amazing! I love their carne asada tacos and quesadillas so I usually go for these, but you can also find pastor, pollo asado, lengua, cabeza, chorizo and even nopales. They also sell parrilladas (like a family meal pack), and full orders that include all the items separated so you can prep and share at home. Or keep it all for yourself, which is what I wanted to do lol. But I guess I'll be nice and take my friends to Asadero Acatlán next time we travel to Mexicali, and I think you should too! read more

They go all out with the salsas and condiments and the service is great, the only reason I took out a star is because the flour tortillas are thicker than I would like but everything is still pretty tasty and worth a visit! There is a man in an orange construction vest that is helping people find parking spots as well as "watching out" for your vehicle. Make sure you tip him a few Pesos. At $21 Pesos a taco you are paying just over $1USD for each taco. They also had Arrachera tacos for $30 Pesos. The flavor is real good and flour tortilla makes it even better! All the toppings in the middle of table allow you try out different flavors on your tacos. For 9 tacos and 1 Bottle of Coke it was $210 Pesos ~ $12.40usd read more
