Carnitas tacos
Kandice B.

Quick and friendly service. Was so nice about me making an adjustment. Rice is SO good. My fav kind. Carnitas were legit . So juicy and tender but also with the good crisp texture of the roast. Horchata was big for price . THE RES SALSA WAS SO GOOD AND SPICY. Love spicy stuff and this red sauce has my heart now. Located in rest stop with a very clean bathroom and wide selection.

On the Bradshaw Trail on the way to Blythe and some good Mexican food.

I was looking for a hearty meal after 100 off-road miles and found La Paloma. It was just what I was hoping for: a hearty, meaty carne asada burrito and some good salsas to add some flavor and bite. It was large enough that I ate half and took the other half for the post-ride drive home. Delicious both times!

Taquitos supreme was huge with a lot of carne asada meat on top. Yummy! $8.99

If on a road trip to Sedona or Phoenix from So Cal you have to stop here. I've been to Rebel Bbq right next door & this place is better. The food was so good & portions are huge! Two carne asada tacos were stuffed full of meat & one could've been a whole meal. The 5 rolled tacos supreme for $8.99 were topped with so much carne asada meat, guacamole, cheese & sour cream. 3 would've been enough for me. Great salsa bar. Friendly gal taking orders. Clean seating area & restrooms were clean. We'll be back.

$15 burrito.

We asked for a breakfast Bacon eggs potatoes burrito. .. and I got a potato a pinch of eggs and sprinkle of bacon and hand full cheese. $15 Burrito And I bought 4

207/2024 This place was recommended so we tried during our visit. Menudo was delicious. Very meaty and flavorful. Restaurant was just so warm and it was just not so comfortable to eat and sweating at the same time.

Carne Asada breakfast burrito

Speechless was my initial reaction when I took a bite of a piping hot, giant sausage breakfast burrito from La Paloma. The establishment itself is very easy to miss driving through Blythe on a slow Saturday morning drive to Arizona. A hidden gem that is worth the 6+ vehicle packed drive thru line. The quality of ingredients were fresh and tasty. The size of the burrito was incredible and one burrito could easily feed 2 people. My girlfriend order a Carne Asada burrito that left her out for the count more than half way thru. Thank you La Paloma for a wonderful breakfast experience. Don't sleep on the salsa Roja, it was incredible.

Chicken taco and enchilada

Recommended by a friend, we stopped here for a quick bite. I ordered the 2 taco plate with beans and rice. Delicious. Loved the shredded beef, very good flavor. Needed more grated cheese. Chicken tacos were also very flavorful. It's not shredded chicken but cubed chicken. Also the cheese enchilada. Loved the chips and salsa bar. 3 options for salsa. The 2 red choices were yummy. Didn't try green. Indoor seating. Lots of room for more tables but I guess most people get to go! Knocked off a star for dirty bathroom with zero hand soap. Hoping the employees have soap for hand washing. I'd stop again!

Shrimp taco combo and 3 rolled taquitos

Good food, I wouldn't say the BEST but it hit the spot. I ordered the shrimp taco combo and the three rolled taquitos. The shrimp taco had good flavor but it was def messy with whatever sauce they used with the shrimp still good flavor tho! The taquitos were good ! I would come back !

The food was horrible. Beans were dry. Rice was burnt. No flavor on the food. The only thing I like was the salsa. Nice and spicy.

The best Mexican food. The tacos are great, the cheese enchiladas are delicious and so is their salsa! Definitely worth a try.

Everything was tasty but I would make a few recommendations:…read more One is change the fake butter flavored spread or whatever it is that is used on the texas toast/sandwich bread - it cheapens the quality of your "homemade" food. Second, check the salad mix for rusty/brown/wilted bits - it totally killed the excitement I had to find your ranch dressing is yummy (i.e. not that cheap weird tangy crap many restaurants use) and my salad had ham bits but then it had like a 1/3 bad lettuce that I had to remove. Lasty, even though it's the end of the day and I know you are tired - front of the house customer service is equally as important to me as the quality of the food. It's imperative to be pleasant always and not make the customer feel like they are putting you out or burdening you - smile more at the very least - make me feel welcomed and want to back. Okay, sorry... one more - no one wants tomato slices as their only side veggie option - they were mealy, went straight in the trash, and that's just wasteful for your pocket and mine. There is no shortage of mixed veggies (frozen or canned) and I would be more than satisfied to have that as an option with real butter applied. That's just MHO - maybe the town likes tom slices and I'm way off... idk - I just didn't get it and I'm not a fan of that veggie option. Now the goods - prime rib was very flavorful (not quite med-rare as requested but the flavor made up for it), fish n chicken tenders was a good portion (though I don't think I was supposed to get 2 fish/2 chicken filets - it was still yummy along with the tarter sauce, and the salad with ham bits made me very happy... plus the ranch was quality (tasted like the good Ole hidden valley ranch dip packet w/sour cream which far exceeds that other bottled junk including the bottled version of its own, lol). Ambiance was fine for a diner but could benefit from a sprucing up to more match the feel of the outside of the building. A spring cleaning and a fresh slap of white paint to pick everything up inside. I like the little "gift shop" in the middle giving more privacy between tables. Overall, Steaks n Cakes is a much appreciated option in Blythe where a lot of quality dining options are lacking. Thanks y'all!

I wanted to love this place so bad!…read more My hash browns were drenched in oil. I asked for an over medium egg.. it was only cooked on 1 side so the white was still uncooked, bacon was all fat. The only thing good about my meal was the pancake The guy who sat us was very polite and friendly The restaurant it's self, very small, gives small hometown vibes (think Sweet home Alabama) Total was $60.. only ate have a pancake
