I was going northbound on the 110 freeway when a tow truck merged into my lane and I had to swerve out he almost hit my car with my two children inside and myself when I got close to the tow truck I saw that the driver that was a Hispanic chubby bald man. on his left hand he was holding a glass pipe to his mouth and on the right hand he was holding a lighter to turn on his glass pipe no wonder he almost hit my car. I called the company to let them know what was going on and the person that answered the phone said OK I will take care of it but not once did he ask for the drivers description or anything related to the person or tow truck number more likely he was going to just sweep it under the rug. it's a shame that people are like this. read more

On a recent evening, a driver for ASA Towing side-swiped me when he attempted to merge into the lane...into my car. He clipped me and I tried to flag him down. The driver saw me, but instead of pulling over to inquire, as the law requires, he turned on his bright white rear-loading lights (to blind me?) and took off at well over the speed limit. This was his first crime of the evening: a hit-and-run. I was about to call 911 when he turned a corner and came to a stop in response to another care accident. I pulled in behind him, and then forward as he turned left to turn around. Rolling down my window, I hollered at a police officer that he'd hit me and refused to stop. As we were talking, the ASA Towing driver backed into my car. I parked and returned to the accident, waiting for the driver to load a vehicle onto his bed. Then, before he left, I told the driver he'd hit me twice and was required by law to exchange his license and insurance information with me. He refused and climbed into his truck. This was his second crime: another attempted hit-and-run. Determined to stand up for what's right, and not let him get away with this behavior, I stood in front of his truck (I'm a big guy) and continued to demand his information. The driver then took his car out of park and RAN HIS VEHICLE INTO MY BODY. I staggered back. He drove forward again. This was his third crime: assault with a deadly weapon. Long story short, I reported his behavior that night to his employer, hoping that ASA Towing had higher standards than this for their employees. (I also reported the incident to the police, to insurance, and to the DMV. I'll be reporting the incident to AAA, in case they contract with ASA Towing.) ASA Towing's only response so far has been an attempt to intimidate me by calling me directly by telephone, rather than contacting my insurance company as they should. I think the public deserves to know what kind of people they employ. read more

Mario and Heather are amazing. Tonight I was driving home when my nearly new Jeep completely shut down on me; lost all power. I called for help and Mario was the first to respond. He and Heather arrived within under an hour and called to keep me aware of how far out they were. This was a stressful situation that got turned around because these two were so friendly and fast. Thanks again!! read more

Excellent service. We used ASA towing to transport my husband's project car, a 65 Mustang, to our new home. It was not an easy job as the car has 4 flats and it was in the 90's. ASA towing took great care in loading and unloading the car, even clearing the debris that came off the car during the tow as to not leave it in our driveway. It was a pleasure doing business with them. read more

Gary from ASA Towing, was a LIFESAVER!! He went way above and beyond the Call of Duty to remove our not so {Mini} van stuck in a ridiculously narrow driveway, and yes it involved some hand tools and a fixed Gate!! If I ever have more car trouble I won't hesitate to contact them again! read more

After only making it 2 hours into my 2 week loosely planned road trip vacation up the coast of California I broke down on Skirbll/Sepulveda/Mulholland Drive offramp from the 405 north near The Getty Museum! I was fortunate that I was within a couple of miles of a dear old friend with whom I spent the night and regrouped and called my roadside towing through Nationwide Insurance who were kind enough to send ASA Towing that next morning after my breakdown with a flatbed and a driver named Armen who happily took on the task of making a difficult broken down alongside the freeway experience into a lively conversation on interesting topics and the time just flew going home to Pacific Beach. We left at approximately 11:20a, I believe, and we arrived in Pacific Beach about 2 and a 1/2 hours later! Big thumbs up to ASA Towing and in particular to their driver named Armen! Many, many thanks! read more

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! These people are bottom feeding, accident chasers, dishonest, and shady! Driver showed up at our accident scene hooked up our car and tried to hold it for ransom! They will try to slide in, take your car to some random shop and hold it there, racking up BS storage and administrative fees. Thankfully, the body shop we dealt with called them out, and the insurance company is starting an investigation. If they show up, verify with your insurance company and do not let them touch your car! Unfortunately, Yelp makes me pick a star rating but there should be a "negative star" selection. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! read more

My experience with ASA towing was absolutely amazing, the employee I was with helped us tremendously with all of our immediate problems, and went above and beyond our expectations. The service was fast, affordable, and surprisingly stress free. I would definitely recommend this company if you ever need a tow somewhere. read more

Mario is exemplary of what someone who is proud of his job would do. He has amazing service, a very effervescent personality and goes above and beyond to ensure that your very terrible car breakdown experience is tolerable to even enjoyable! He's a true gem of an employee to any company and for this sole reason I 100% recommend this business. I came home with a smile on my face, which is not what someone would typically say after they had to tow their broken down car after a long day at work. Huge thumbs up!!! read more

Awesome service! Lost my keys, when Mario came to tow my car, he was genuinely helpful with being my second pair of eyes with trying to find my keys. No luck but either way, got myself and my car home all in one piece! Super cool and chill vibes, him and Heather were professional and awesome highly recommend :) read more

Mario did a great job helping me tow my car. He even took the time out to attempt various troubleshooting efforts in case the car didn't need to see the mechanic. Great service, Mario was a blessing read more

Fantastic, prompt service. No nonsense. Driver was friendly. If I ever need to be towed again I will know who to call. Thank you!

Yesterday my car broke down in the middle of nowhere, it took a long time to answer, being the first in the results of yelp I trust the agility of response, I received an answer late after already having picked up another service from further away read more

Excellent prompt service! Very courteous and helpful. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Armen and Suren are lifesavers. Armen was able to set up a truckbed lift and tow within 2 hours. However, Suren got there in 30 minutes. Incredible right!!! That's fast and awesome service. Well organized, great communication, and real people. I highly recommend collaborating with Armen and Suren. A top-notched company in my book for any trucking-towing needs. Scam... my car was totaled in an accident and they were trolling the police scanners.... they pretended to be Nissan offering me a complementary tow.... was told one price that night... my car was taken at 11:30 that Thursday night and I picked it up 11am Sat morning... total bill was 820$!!!!!! What?! 125$ a day for storage.... well we looked up the law and they can not legally charge more then the city which is 41$ a day... I brought my father who is a police and put them in their place... they fixed my total but added extra charges.... it's cash only as well... the lot was the front of a house.... those poor neighbors dealing with these crooks!!!!!! My new total was 458$... should have been 185$ for tow, 2 days at 41$ which totals 267$!!!!!! The tow guy was great and friendly from the start. Wish he worked for a legit company. Don't trust them they will take you for everything. read more

ASA came fairly quick after responding to my call for a tow. And Suren was one of the nicest towing personnel I've met in a long while. He showed care and concern in moving my car from Burbank all the way to Laguna Hills He went the extra mile. Very professional businessmen. I'll keep their card for sure now that I know my insurance can use them. read more

When you have an accident a good tow driver is such a blessing. My son had an accident in a car that needed to have all 4 wheels off the ground when towed. Mario helped us out with a great attitude and understanding of the special needs of the car. Thank you so much Mario! read more

1st I was told it would be a 60 dollar job over then phone, then when I tell Mike my insurance was paying 75.00 total he says oh in that case you have to pay a additional 40.00 dollars....and it will be 45 min for the driver to get to me...40 mins goes by then the driver calls saying he's 45 mins away ...I would give them a zero but the driver was cool so a 1 rating sounds fair..I hate getting hussled read more

Great experience. Chris was the driver, he was early and very polite and efficient. He drove my bike and I to the shop and was cool to talk to. I thought it'd be an awkward drive but it was nice. I'm glad they hire people like Chris. Quick and painless. read more
