Couldn't have asked for more out of ASA. Steve was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. ASA came out to site to scope the job within a few hours of my first call. I needed a really quick turn around on my floor refinish (sand, stain, poly), and ASA delivered. The job was completed just a few days after first speaking with ASA. The floor looks great, everything was done on time, and the price was very competitive. You won't go wrong by using ASA. read more

Steve and his team did a great job! Steve is very organized and runs a fair family business. He helped us make decisions that we were comfortable with on a strict budget. The team did a great job and went above and beyond. Steve made sure that the job was done well and kept in touch through the whole process. We also didn't want to leave our home the entire time during the process and they team helped us figure out what to do with the dogs and how to stay in the house without ruining the floor or inhaling the fumes. We plan to have his team back for any refinishing that we'll do in the future. read more

Steve was great to work with. He gave us a competitive estimate and his crew did a great job on the installation. The stain that we choose ended up being a great match for the main floor. read more

I found water damage on my hard wood floor the day before I was to sell it. They came out that day and put me on the schedule immediately. My closing happened as scheduled, the floor was refinished and looked great. read more

We recently hired ASA Flooring to refinish a very old existing wood floor on a rental property. Steve was prompt in returning my call for a quote and met me the very next day to assess the floor in person. He gave great advice on how he would fix up the floor if it was his property (ultimately saving us money on a couple water-damaged areas that we might have otherwise opted to replace, that looked great with just a little sanding) and he gave us competitive rates. The work was done promptly, in line with our schedule and with very minimal dust (his team did a great job of cleaning up!). The floors looked so great that we decided to have Steve's team also complete an install of new wood flooring in another area in the house. We were equally pleased with the results -- the floors look fantastic! I would definitely recommend ASA Flooring for any wood flooring installation or refinishing projects! read more

ASA flooring was not only quick to respond back to me and give me an estimate, but they also got the job done in just a few days! They were far cheaper than many other estimates that I was given and my floors look amazing! I highly recommend read more

I was very impressed with ASA flooring. Steve was very responsive, on time for his appointment and gave me a bid on the spot. His crew was very respectful, clean and finished as scheduled. My floor refinish looks amazing!! I will be recommending to all my friends and clients. It's refreshing in the real estate industry to find someone who under promises and over delivers! read more

Needed hardwood floors refinished that are almost 60 years old and had been carpeted over. Steve was very prompt at responding to my call and his recommendation for the stain was perfect. We sealed the deal which was very reasonably priced. The tech was very meticulous about his work and the final product is gorgeous!! I will recommend ASA without any hesitation to anyone looking for any hardwood flooring needs!! Thanks!! read more

ASA did a fantastic job on our floors. First, they came by within a couple days after I requested a quote. They were able to come early in the morning, since my husband and I both work full-time. Then, they did the flooring job exactly within our time parameters, even finishing a little early. We had carpet removed from three upstairs bedrooms and replaced with wood flooring. The stairs and foyer were already wood, so ASA matched the new wood to the foyer expertly. The floors look absolutely gorgeous. The cost was below my expectations and, based on what friends paid others, a really good deal. ASA recommended 2 coats of polyurethane, but because they finished early, we decided to spend a bit more and get a third coat. Definitely pleased with that decision. In sum, we were very pleased with ASA and would absolutely recommend them. read more

Steve and ASA got it all right. 1. Communication was great 2. Pricing was right 3. End result looked excellent. I'm not sure what else anyone would want. read more

The ASA team is very professional - we got updates from the owner every couple of days, and when we had some minor finishing touch-ups, he had his team come back promptly to ensure it was completed to our expectations. We also had some anxiety around selecting a stain color, and his installers were able to show us samples on our floor and provide their professional input on the drawbacks of a darker floor. We ended up with "Early American" stain and the floors look awesome, and very classic. Would absolutely recommend this company! read more

Steve and his team were absolutely amazing. We were trying to move into our "new" 100 year old house and had a time line. They were able to stop by on a Friday hours after we called and give us an estimate right away - on Monday the work on our hard woods began and by Wednesday they were completed and the floors look amazing. Great price and great work. We had 2 other estimates one which could not meet our time schedule and the other one just seemed shady - we are very pleased that we went with the ASA and would reccommend them to anyone looking for a small or big hard wood flooring project. read more

Don't look anywhere else for your next flooring needs. Steve and his crew are professional, timely, clean and do fantastic work. They laid down new hardwoods on my entire first floor and it has completely transformed the look and feel of the house. Thank you ASA Flooring! read more

From the first call to the finished floor, ASA Flooring was professional, curtious, on time, and skilled. 3 days after my initial consultation I had wood in my home so it could acclimate, a week later the work was started, and 4 days after that the job was finished. That's about two weeks all together to have beautiful wood floors throughout my one bedroom home! The owner, Steve, seems to always personally answer his phone and is ready to answer any questions you might have. I highly recommend ASA to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use them again myself. read more

I cannot fully express how pleased I am with the results and the experience while working with Steve, Nicholaus and everyone at ASA flooring. After several estimates to get our current floors refinished and new hardwoods installed in kitchen and foyer, we went with ASA and could not be happier. We knew we were in good hands from the start. Steve, the owner, came to our home for the site visit and estimate. Steve was early, straight forward, and relieved me of some of my worries I had from previous companies estimates. After receiving his fairly priced estimate we decided to go with ASA. Our project was then assigned to Nicholaus, the project manager. Nic and the team worked around my schedule, communicated well, and even came in on the weekend and got the job done earlier then expected! And the floors look amazing! The new floors tied in great with the older, current floors. They did a great job on the water damaged and problem areas, and we love the finish. These are true professionals who deliver a great service with outstanding results. ASA all the way!! read more

Excellent price and excellent experience. Nicholas, the gentleman managing my project, when out of his way to accommodate my hectic rehab schedule. read more

Steve and Aaron were amazing. Steve answered all my questions, gave me great information to help me make the decision, didn't try to upsell me and provided a very fair and reasonable quote that didn't go up despite the job being harder than he may have originally thought. He is also easy to get in touch with. Aaron did the majority of the work on the floors and he is friendly, experienced and very good at what he does. He worked long hours to get the job done in just a couple of days and the floors look amazing. By far one of the best experiences I have had with contractors or any home improvement job. read more

I am giving these guys five stars for honesty and integrity. Arrived right on time but the job was not for them. Let me know right up front where others might not have. read more

Not quite sure how they have 100% response rate on Yelp. Contacted them multiple times with absolutely no response. Too bad because given their good reviews I was looking forward to working with them on some repair and replacement of Hardwoods. So, if you do decide to work with them plan on needing a lot of patience to actually get a response. read more

I was referred to Steve by a coworker who had used him for two different homes. He was responsive to my phone calls (and many text messages) and was able to come by my house within a few days to give me a quote. He definitely knew his hardwood and stains, which made me feel more comfortable with selecting him. Steve and his team were able to sand and stain our oak and pine floors quickly before we left for a vacation. The end product looks amazing! I would definitely use them again! read more

I found ASA Flooring and Steve based on a quick online search. They just refinished and stained the old pine floors in my 1910 home, and they look gorgeous! I was very satisfied with Steve's customer service. He saw the old carpet in the bedrooms and suggested checking underneath to see if there was wood - there was! The place looks great, the work was done on time (and also on a very rushed timeline) and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend! read more

Thank you Steve! My husband and I recently bought a house and were trying to get the hardwood floors refinished before moving in. We initially hired another contractor and he never showed up! We were starting to freak out as our move in date was quickly approaching. I found ASA Flooring on yelp and gave Steve a call. I spoke with him on a Monday and our floors were done by the following Saturday. Steve answered all of our questions, provided us a reasonable quote and kept in touch with us during the whole process. We were more than happy with how the floors turned out and have received tons of compliments on them. I highly recommend ASA Flooring! read more

I had nothing but good experiences with ASA from the start - the quote process to the final coat of finish - every step of the way was quick and professional. Did I mention that they have great prices? I had a pretty large job installing oak floor in a home I just purchased. I needed new wood laced in to existing hardwood floors and stained to match. I received three quotes - one of which was from a company I've done business with before - and I ended up picking ASA. Steve (who gave me the quote) was on time, professional, listened to what I wanted, didn't try to up-sell me on anything, and kept contact with me through the entire process by phone and text. Really, really fantastic. Do yourself a favor - call ASA and at least get a quote - you won't regret it!! read more

We had ASA Flooring replace carpet with wood floors in two rooms. They expertly laced the new wood into our existing wood floor, then refinished the wood in all the rooms to match. (we changed to a darker color) We were very pleased with the workmanship, the price, and the time it took to complete the job. Steve and his crew did a great job. read more

These guys were great, very reliable and accommodating. They did a great job with our wood floors, including sanding and installing fillers. They accidentally damaged the corner of one of our walls and took off some $$ from the final bill for repairs. Thank you for the great customer service. read more

We found ASA on Yelp! Glad we did. We recently renovated our kitchen, and let's just say the floor was the only part of the project that went as planned. We have a 13 year old cherry floor in a Denver home that needed to be refinished. ASA's pricing was extremely competitive, and Steve, the owner, was responsive, knowledgeable and thorough. He was also accommodating of our scheduling challenges given the other trades. If you are in the market to get your hardwood floors refinished, look no further you will be in good hands. Thanks ASA!!! read more

Where do I start??? These guys are amazing! We closed on a house in Arvada in July, we come "home" to find carpet that was in absolutely disgusting condition. I called ASA for a quote and install ASAP. Steve was so patient and understanding. His crew did a great job, the stairway is stunning. I rarely ever write reviews but when a business goes out of their way to accommodate you and does a great job; they have to know that they're doing a great job! I love my new flooring. read more

This company doesnt know how to show up for scheduled meetings. Called to setup a meeting and they never showed up. Then followed up a second to see if they needed to reschedule and got no response. Chose another flooring company and had a great experience...they answered the phone, showed up for the estimate, provided a quote and did the work. The basics! read more

I just had ASA tear out my old kitchen tiles and Berber carpet and put in new hardwood floors. I was out of town for 3 of the 5 days of work. They did a beautiful job. I absolutely love my new floors! Steve kept good communication throughout the whole process and sent me pics via text while I was out of town. I had read reviews of other companies before deciding on ASA. I expect to live on/look at these floors for many years and didn't want to chance getting a bad installation. I am so glad I went with ASA. read more

Excellent work! I shopped around to many different companies before deciding on going with Steve, and his estimate was the most reasonable. They also repaired part of my floor beautifully. I didn't think the beat up 100 year old floors in our bedrooms could look so good. The team was also quick and efficient, and we were able to resume our normal lives within 2 days. Steve was also mindful of the fact that I am pregnant and made sure to keep the fumes at a minimum. I highly recommend this company! read more

I found Steve through Yelp and was glad I did. I had received several bids but Steve provided several ideas and helped me make my final decision so I went with him. He worked around my schedule and the floors turned out great. We had 10 year old hickory floors and they look brand new again. He also spent extra time to cover all the major areas so we didn't get dust upstairs. I would highly recommend ASA flooring. read more

We have been looking for a company to refinish our floors. ASA flooring received great reviews by people who have used them. Unfortunately, there are a few negative reviews that are simply not a fair. I called 4 flooring companies and Steve was the only one to call me back. I don't think it's fair to give the other companies poor reviews because of this. Steve was very responsive, early to our appointment. He was very thorough and explained the process. I would highly recommend ASA Flooring! read more

We hired ASA to install red oak floors in our master bedroom to match the rest of the house, and it was a glue down job on concrete slab which increases the difficulty. They did a fantastic job and maintained an aggressive schedule. We have a baby at home and they made the extra effort to tape off basically half of our house so we could stay in our home until the sanding and finishing began. The quality of work was top notch and the workers were very courteous with a child around by being quiet and not slamming doors when coming and going. Five stars. read more

I have mixed feelings about ASA Flooring after their lack of responsiveness. Overall, I would say they did a great job on our wood floors. We restored hardwoods from 1959 and the team was able to make them look gorgeous. Where I am upset is their communication and follow up. My floors were finished over three weeks ago, and because we were flipping the house, multiple other projects were happening. Some of the painters who were touching up got some paint on the wood floors and we have been contacting ASA for a follow up touch up session with no luck. We are not expecting ASA to pay for these mistakes, we truly just want them fixed. I am a teacher, and it's tough for me to make phone calls during the day, but I am responsive over email and have had no luck. The whole situation has made me very uncomfortable. Overall, I would say that ASA is a fine company to work with if you have the patience. read more

Like another previous reviewer, I can't give ASA Flooring more than one star because Steve wasn't responsive and then just failed to show up for our scheduled appointment to give me a bid on refinishing my wood floors. I'm chuckling that his website says, "It takes years to create a good reputation, but only minutes to ruin one." Indeed. Steve failed to respond to my initial email inquiry to his website. Then he seemed disinterested in my job when I called him, but did schedule a time to come by to provide an estimate. I confirmed the date and time by text. Today I waited around for an hour and a half while Steve failed to show. When I contacted him by text, he called to say "sorry" but last week was crazy, the appointment didn't make it on his calendar, something about just getting back into town, totally his fault, blah, blah, blah. Maybe his work is great, but who has time to chase down a contractor? Not me. read more
