I've been going to Kelly for over 2 years and I'd never cheat on her, she's the absolute best at what she does!! I even recruited my husband to get a back facial by her and his back was sooooo smooth when he got home and his breakouts have significantly decreased. This review is LONG overdue…read more I had an amazing first time with Miss Kelly mid 2024. Before Miss Kelly's Brazil Appeal Waxing, I had been to several other salons. I had been going to one of these salons for at least 3 years. Her suite is currently located in the plaza across H-Mart and 24 Hour Fitness off of Balboa Ave in a secured building on the second floor. Her suite is cozy for Miss Kelly, her client, and the equipment she needs. I highly recommend Ms. Kelly and her services - both to those who are sensitive to pain, and even the "veterans" who have learned to "tough it out." Before booking, please take the time to read her website. You will notice that her pricing is higher than the regular waxing/sugaring establishments. This is because she takes her time prepping you and doing the wax itself, which is also why your appointment will be longer (this varies, of course). This is why the pain level is much more tolerable, and makes the price worth it. It has been a while since my first appointment with Ms. Kelly, but I have returned several times since. I unfortunately had to pause my appointments with her, but await the day that I can resume my appointments. Ms. Kelly is a gem and I CANNOT recommend her enough!

She made me feel inadequate. She also said they wouldn't accept the Groupon deal though there is no restriction regarding 'new clients only' and it's against Groupon policy to refuse. If you're unable to consistently accommodate appointments, I don't think you should be offering services through a platform like Groupon or promising complimentary services that you don't intend to follow through on. I went in around 11-12ish on 10/14/26 to get a gel manicure and I specifically chose #5 in the cat eye book with the swirl on it. But apparently you have to specify that you want french cat eye when it's clearly shown in this particular book that it's not just the color but a cat eye color with the swirl! I've never had to say I want a swirl because the nail tech just does it with cat eye. My nail tech was terrible and rude! She wouldn't give me her name when I asked and I told her that I would just let Katherine know ( I meant to say Christina) about her terrible customer service! She was passively aggressive with going back and forth with me about the color and how I should have said French and not just pointing and saying #5. She kept tapping at my fingers and the light machine and never saying a word but in a rude manner. She kept drilling my nail beds and sat on the same spot after I kept moving it back because it was burning and hurting because they were already thin! Also, using a high speed knowing I'm pulling back and saying "oh" on purpose! Then she doesn't even soak my nails she dips my fingers quickly in the water and takes them out and proceeds to do a half ass job at removing the dead skin around my nails. Fast forward: When she had to actually do the cat eye swirl after I asked if she was going to do it. She kept arguing with me in a passive aggressive tone about it! I wish I could have recorded how she was low key upset and used the magnet in an upset manner! Then she argued about applying the base coat not all the way to the cuticle but how she stopped in the middle and said that's how she does it! Just a terrible and rude little girl! She attempted to put a lot of oil and lotion on my hands and made it greasy so I said "that's okay, I'll just pay." She says wash your hands and after I go to pay and ask for her name and she didn't want to give it! Even after her smart ass little bratty nail service I still gave her $2...lol! I know I shouldn't have!
