This time, the tech couldn't find a vein and became increasingly frustrated. She stabbed me again, with no luck, and then ended appointment. Said they could only try twice per patient. Unfortunately, I had to have the pre screening performed soon because surgery was scheduled. They sent me down the street, to "LabCorp," where I had to make yet ANOTHER appointment for the next day. An appointment I had to pay for but fortunately actually got results. Now, they are trying to get paid for this failure. No results. Waste of my time, two trips. No bloodwork or results from them, just a bill?! Anxiety off the chart. Just what you need before a surgery. Awful experience and will never go back.

His precise diagnosis quite literally spared my daughter from undergoing an unnecessary gallbladder surgery. After months of uncertainty and confusing symptoms, Dr. Razavi took the time to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and approach her case with remarkable depth and insight. Beyond his medical skill, Dr. Razavi's kindness and genuine care created a comforting environment in what was a very stressful time for our family. He treated us not just as patients, but as people--and that made all the difference. If you're like me, you look forward to seeing a doctor as much as you look forward to paying taxes…read more When that doctor is a cardiologist it brings even more stress because, well, why exactly are you there, right? :) I found Dr. Moalemi after another excellent cardiologist's office made it impossible to continue seeking her services. Yes, I wrote a review about that experience. Scroll down if you're interested. The main thing is that I DID find Dr. Moalemi. I guess some things are just meant to be. :) What can I say? The offices - both Springfield and Shirlington - are clean and bright and come with free parking. The staff at both are beyond responsive, polite, respectful. They do their job. Well. Here I need to pay particular respect to Lexi. I phoned last week needing a nephrologist. At the time, lab work looked as though my kidneys were on a fast-moving, downward spiral. Dr. Moalemi was working in a different office that day. There was a lot of back and forth to get the message through. Each time we spoke, Lexi was polite and professional. What she did with my request is unbelievable. She not only got multiple referrals from the doctor, she CALLED those doctors to see who could get me in first! Then she called me with her findings. Are you kidding me? WHO does that? WHO?? No one you've seen recently, my friend. I know that to be true. That level of kindness is quite rare these days. Quite the testament to Lexi and to Dr. Moalemi. This is standard for this practice. Yep, it sure is. I've had Dr. Moalemi call me around 8:30 PM just to make sure I was okay and to change medication course. It's humbling to think a doctor works all day and still makes sure to take care of you - no matter what. I was appreciative. Well, after I almost bit her head off. LOL. Yes, it's true. I thought she was a telemarketer trying to sell me something at first. *slaps forehead* That's her work ethic and dedication and her kindness shining through. When you go into the room with Dr. Moalemi, you will come out happy. SHE is a happy person with bright eyes and an infectious laugh and a personality that keeps judgment free. She's just warm and wonderful. YES, she's a highly respected expert in her field. But when you're with her, you're going to feel as if you're talking to a friend. I promise you. She will take the time and effort to be there for you. Need a cardiologist? Look no further. By the way, I'm on the mend today and feeling much better. :)

From Marissa at the front desk, to Charlie and Nurse Jill in the back, to her Nurse Practitioner Jay Won Bartlett, FNP-C, everyone is so pleasant and kind and helpful and truly caring. My 2.5yr old daughter is terrified of the doctor and has spent every doctor's appointment screaming. It has always been a struggle to let the providers examine her. But at the Allergy & Asthma Center, she is so calm and cooperative. The way everyone at this practice approaches my daughter and talks to her puts her at ease and comforts her. Not only does she sit still and let them do a physical exam but she listens to them and responds to them. It is such an amazing thing to see as her mother. And although my concerns may not be super serious, for the first time I felt listened to and heard and acknowledged by the providers. Not once have I felt as if my concerns were being brushed off or made to feel insignificant or rushed out the door. Jay Won Bartlett, FNP-C is so comforting and thorough and knowledgeable. I could go on and on. My experience with this practice has been the best experience I have ever had with medical providers, ever. I cannot recommend Jay Won Bartlett, FNP-C (and everyone at this practice) with higher regard.

I'm a male in my 20s who went in for a blood clot issue in my right leg. I was unable to walk for a month because of the swelling and blood clot. I was desperate to see a Hematologist as every other office was booked for months. I went for my first visit on crutches and Dr. Sahebi consulted me and told me to get my knee drained and see her in 10 days. As I was setting up the next visit, the guy who handles the billing rushes to me and states that I owe them $189 for the services today (consultation). I told him I had insurance and that I should have met my deductible because I had gone to 2 ER visits, seen 3 specialists and my primary twice already before this visit. He told me that I actually did owe them $189. Not know that he was going to actually submit a separate claim for the same service to my insurance, I paid up front. I then return 10 days later to do the blood work to see if there are any clotting disorders I have and was charged 10% of the service charge, which he said was $25. After a couple weeks, I noticed that the charges were all wrong. I saw in my claims that I owed my insurance $18 for the first service that I paid $189 for, and $14 for the second service I paid $25 for. That means that I paid $200 over what I should have, AND the doctor's office was ready to get paid twice for the same services. I went over to speak with the billing guy and because I confronted the man about the mistakes and asked him to speak with the insurance representative I had on the phone, he stated "I do not have time for this I am leaving. I don't care about this right now" and pushes me out of the office as I am trying to get him to speak with my insurance representative. PHYSICALLY PUSHING ME OUT OF THE OFFICE, YELLING AT ME, AND ASSAULTING ME! I have been dealing with this knee issue for months now and the very doctor's office that is supposed to be aiding me in figuring out the problem is causing more harm by pushing me. I went to the police and filed a report with them and even asked for emergency medical care because my knee started aching and I started fearing that it was a repeat of what had happened in the past. I have also filed a report to the business board and licensing board regarding the matter as well. I am not sure where he learned his business etiquette but this is not something I am familiar with. See attached for receipts and claims supporting what I talked about above. They're crooks. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

When we went to make our annual appointments only to be told that our P.A. of nearly all those years was no longer with the practice!! It would have been nice to have been told before that. Anyway, we were assigned someone new and, because I have high blood pressure that has been uncontrollable, the new MD told me all heart related topics should be handled by my cardiologist from now on. Fair enough! So, along with our trusted P.A. leaving the practice, they have hired a downright NASTY woman to call and remind me that I am old and must be seen far more frequently than annually or they won't refill my prescriptions! Fortunately the the Cardiologist is conducting monthly tests as he adjusts my BP meds which include blood tests. Every single result is sent to my Primary Care practice as well as Cardiology. When I explain this to Ms. NASTY, she tells me I still must come in to be seen by them. Why? So they can make more money. I'm sorry but I find that just plain crooked.
