After trying to get a diagnosis for a long term chronic illness, I was seen by Dr. Modiri. The…read moreoffice staff is friendly, and the wait was short at each visit. I needed an endoscopy, and gastric emptying study prior, to determine my illness. Once that was done, this doctor proceeded to let me know i should be "happy", and even "grateful" to know i have gastroparesis (stomach paralysis) because the symptoms it gives me, mimics Ozempic. A popular weight loss drug.. I'm not trying to lose weight nor did i ever discuss that being a goal. In fact I've unintentionally lost weight in the last few years because of this illness. Saying it was insensitive, is an understatement when it was coming from my doctor. She said this to my face in front of my mother during a visit while smiling.. After giving me this diagnosis, and an Ozempic anecdote, she didn't feel a need to rule out any other causes for my symptoms. My questions about what else it could be were shot down. And I was prescribed a medication to "help" that is seldom used due to its irreversible side effects, rather than looking into ANY differential diagnosis or other possible causation for my serious concerns. This was it! I had no further exploration of whats going on, despite continually having symptoms. I am in my early 20s and this was not only a crushing blow to find out, but this disease and the other issues ive been having are ruining my quality of life. I previously thought all doctors took their oath to first do no harm, seriously. I no longer think that. I have dismissed myself* from this practice and am not interested in ever being seen by them again. But I thought people should be prepared to know what kind of care they could* receive here. I didnt see the other doctors at the practice, and did not have issues besides with my treatment by that particular provider.

Dr. Ajala and Dr. Olu are great. Dr. Misti Gray was really unprofessional and dismissive, and…read moremeasured me weeks ahead of where I actually was in my pregnancy, even though all the other drs. measured me small and my baby was 2nd percentile at birth. Dr. Olu performed my c section and she has absolutely amazing bedside manner and answered all of my questions so clearly and knowledgeably. She has a very kind demeanor and made what would have been a scary process into a positive experience. The office staff is a mixed bag. Some are very professional and helpful, some are not. I asked to see a copy of my bill before paying and someone from the billing department insisted on speaking to me over the phone so she could argue with me and be snippy and sarcastic because they had already mailed a bill and I guess she was upset that I asked to look at it before paying? Maybe the printer ink comes directly out of her check. I would come back here for care again but be prepared to advocate for yourself quite a bit throughout your pregnancy, delivery and postpartum.

Went back in on December 4th, still no surgical date. Then they are charging me more than my copay and i was told they hold it in an account like an escrow? Excuse me!!! do not send me anymore bills unless i actually owe you money. We are going on week 7 of waiting for a surgical date with no answers, i am mentally at my breaking point

I've had serious problems with Seema Sharma on every visit. She's been negligent, sloppy and…read moremistake-riddled. I received a radiology order for an MRI, but she made a mess of it. Wrong description of my condition, wrong Billing Code, vague language that would mean it wouldn't be covered by insurance. When she gave it to me, I suggested it was incomplete. She laughed, snidely saying I was wrong. Another time, I mentioned nasal congestion, sinus congestion and difficulty breathing, suggesting aspirin might be the cause. She said this was impossible. She is dead wrong. It is widely known that aspirin can cause these symptoms. It's embarrassing and disturbing that she doesn't know this. Sharma wrote me a paper prescription for Voquezna. I asked her to send it electronically to CVS but she sent the wrong dosage. Getting the dosage wrong is a serious mistake that can kill people. When I saw her for back pain, she gave me cyclobenzaprine, which is contraindicated for patients who have a number of conditions that I have. Sharma never should have prescribed this. A potentially fatal error on her part. I ended up in the ER with severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, tingling in my arms and legs. I'd been fine beforehand. Sharma has very poor social skills and a non-existent bedside manner. During our consultations, she makes no eye contact, rarely speaks, and mumbles in a manner that's difficult to understand. She takes notes on a laptop throughout, instead of listening and responding to the patient. She clearly doesn't take accurate and complete notes, or chooses to ignore them when preparing prescriptions, orders, etc. Communication is one of the most important factors in healthcare. Her lack of adequate communication skills, coupled with her inability to avoid mistakes, makes her completely unsuited for the job. She is an embarrassment to the medical profession and dangerously incompetent. I have only seen Sharma a few times, but she's managed to cause a great deal of damage. She will undoubtedly harm more patients in the future, if her license is not revoked. As a side note, she attended an Ethiopian medical school ranked 751st in world.
