Been their customer for 3 years now…read more Inova Primary Care at Mark Center is excellent! The staff are professional, friendly, and make you feel cared for from the moment you walk in. The doctors take the time to listen and provide thorough explanations, which I really appreciate. The facility is clean and well-organized, making appointments smooth and stress-free. Sheema Chohan is my favorite.

I really don't know what's going on with Inova, especially their Mark Center location. It has been…read moresteadily going downhill in terms of quality and patient care. I can now see why my previous internist chose to not be part of this group any longer! The front staff is obnoxiously loud, extremely unprofessional, and more focused on socializing rather than giving accurate information/wait times for currently waiting patients. If you choose to continue coming here, I highly recommend in bringing earplugs, because you'll end up with a total migraine from the shrilling raucous. The phlebotomist is super lazy and inefficient, and, I kid you not, I have waited over 2+ hours to just get blood drawn. The last straw was when I was told there was no queue when I directly asked one of the receptionists what the estimated time of a wait was; I waited 20 minutes with no updates, and, when I finally went up to ask what the ETA was for the phlebotomist, the receptionist had the nerve to tell me that he wasn't seeing anyone currently, and it would be another 30+ minute wait. The communication here is wack. It's clear that the staff here has absolute no respect or consideration for patients' time nor any ounce of professionalism. +wack communication skills from front staff +lazy phlebotomist +horrific wait times

I was first introduced to Dr. Gardner about 9 years ago by my then BF (who had him as a Dr for at…read moreleast an additional 5 or so years). That BF and I have since parted ways, but not me and Dr. Gardner. He's a keeper! He is awesome! He is thorough, chipper, friendly and spends gobs of time with you explaining everything. He's dragged in medical books to show me illustrations and drawn things out so I have a visual when applicable. He also has this awesome Palm Pilot-esque device that he carries that holds a wealth of information about prescriptions and what brand is best covered by your insurance, what it interacts with and side effects- very handy! He also consistently checks me on my posture - I'm a big time sloucher. On the rare occasion that Dr. Gardner is away or I am needing a last minute appt and he's booked, I've also been to Dr. Tokarz who took a lot of time asking me questions about myself trying to get to know me and Ly-Lan Bergeron, a physician's assistant who also asks a lot of questions and is really caring. They used to have some awful people that worked up front, but thankfully all of them have been replaced and the new staff is GREAT! Their office is located directly off of 395 and there is a garage with validated parking.

Just had my first visit earlier this week. Found Dr. Lugo and Dr. Mircea through my insurance's…read morewebsite and was able to book a new patient appointment two days after I called in. The receptionists were pleasant on the phone, signing in, and also when checking out. I scheduled for Dr. Mircea, and she's funny and frank. She also listened and asked about any problems I have had or may be having. I ended up getting 3 shots done, including the flu shot, and the lady who administered was very fast and professional about it. No fuss. The star I'm taking out is for the blood work. I had just gotten blood work done last week at another office, so I know how fast and as relatively painless it could be when done correctly. As soon as I sat down, the lady that was to administer it looked towards her co-worker and told her that she's "going to need help on this one". It wasn't done jokingly but seriously. That should've already given me an alarm that she might be a newbie at this. But instead, I went ahead, and I think she had difficulties finding my vein, causing her to take so long and having to push and move the needle all over. She said after that my blood was taking a long time to come out because "it knew I didn't like [getting injected]". No, I think it's because I wasn't being poked right. I was afraid my blood would clot and would have to do it again, but she shook the tubes later and said they were clot-free. Another reason for the star off is that the clinic feels so out-dated. The equipment they used were old, but as long as they work and are used correctly, then I suppose they're okay.

I was a patient for 16 years and recommended many people to this office when I worked nearby. Then…read moreI received a bill 16 months after a service for $31. They kept sending the bill even after I paid it - which is when I noticed this was for something over a year old. I changed insurance a few months ago so being able to appeal or review with my old insurance isn't practical. I tried to call the office to talk about how this wasn't a great way to treat patients, and both people didn't seem to care or empathize. Send timely bills, don't go after people because you bought some AI software that showed you can go maximize passing costs off to your patients. I hope everyone had fun wasting more than $31 in labor costs on this to lose a patient over 16 years. That's the difference between an office that cares about patients and people who are just trying to squeeze everything out of you. I would not trust them for accurate billing, which means I don't recommend them as an office.
