Walking in, a frustrated lady approaches me and asks if i need help. I tell her Im looking for a Barong (a formal Filipino cultural shirt). She tells me that she is just the assistant, that the owner will be back from the bathroom, and not to touch anything because the owner will get angry. So I wait for the owner to help me, which she does. I try on a sized medium which was too small and she quotes at $150. Highway robbery people!!! i purchased a MUCH nicer one elsewhere for $50. I ask to try a size up and it was way too big, quotes it at $160 because it's bigger, and told her I'll look around more. If I could give zero stars, I would. My mother-in-law and I visited this store to inquire about a barong dress. While we were browsing, the saleslady abruptly told us that taking pictures was not allowed -- which we respected. One barong dress caught our eye, so I asked for the price. My mother-in-law, being honest, mentioned that we would come back once we had enough money. The saleslady coldly replied, "Come back when you already have enough money." We tried to brush it off with a laugh and continued to look around. Every time we stopped and checked a dress -- without even touching it -- she would say things like, "That won't fit on you." It was uncomfortable, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. We felt judged the entire time. We won't be coming back -- and we won't be recommending this place to anyone. The associate seems nice while the lady who take charge is horrible! We bought $50 item while after 5 min we found out what they sell is some random low quality stuff in a brand box, we immediately went back and she said all sales all final and no exchange. Store name matches the attitude of the associates/owner. I was testing hair claws, one of the ladies I think didn't like it. Asking if something was wrong with the clip. I think all women like see how easy the clips opens to tear the quality. I think she just didn't want you messing it up then leaving. I think the owner of the store really has an emotional attachment to her barongs, because she doesn't want customers to touch them, take photos of them, or try them on. We were ready to buy one, we just needed to see if it fits. We started out with one sales lady, and she was super helpful, but then the owner's Scooby sense realized we had the audacity of trying to buy one! she asked me when I needed the barong, I said for an event in October. Then she started yelling about not coming til we needed it? I asked her why she was yelling at me but, my husband said it wasn't worth the stress and we left without a barong. I really enjoy this boutique, it's a fairly small space but there's a really nice selection to choose from. Lots of Filipino styled dresses for any event. They have barongs, traditional Filipino dresses and they offer them in in adult sizes and some kid sizes. They have really cute keychains, accessories, and religious decor. The women don't follow you around anymore and they offer help when you walk in but if u say no they don't follow. 10/10, always looks forward to going in when I plan on going to seafood city read more

The old lady who owns this store is very rude.! I was choosing scrubs and of course you would make sure you dont get the style you dont want . She was hella mad.
