We used Celebrations for wedding planning in October 2015. At first meeting some months prior to the event all seemed congenial. This was a same sex wedding and DJ seemed OK with that and touted experience with the same. She frequently asks about your "vision." Although this seems more appropriate for a bride and a groom, we told he what we wanted. She assured us that changes happen along the way and that she is flexible and would work with us. This was not the case. The event was quite successful. Except for having the chairs in the correct place, coordinating the actual day of the event, cake and flowers , we can give no credit to Celebrations Unlimited for this success. Working with them was most unpleasant and just got worse as we got closer to the date. We found that she accepts little responsibility for errors and not accommodating for special requests. Unfortunately, from correspondence to correspondence you never know which DJ you're going to get. Our "VISION" was to have a wedding planner that would provide the service in a seamless way and reduce stress. This is not what we got. They are unresponsive to phone calls and emails and simply created more stress. We requested a bill on three occasions and received it one week before the wedding. The cost for chairs, water, flowers, cake and planning the day of the wedding was $6500.00. We had just over 100 people and arranged the photographer, reception and rehearsal dinner ourselves. All in all, the wedding was a huge success. My recommendation is to interview more than one planner, Celebrations Unlimited could be one of them. Establish your costs up front. Ask for references! If it is a different wedding, like two brides or grooms, make sure the planner has experience with this. Buyer beware and know what you are doing! Unfortunately we did not.

I also wasn't enthused about having the tasting on an unstable picnic table surrounded by an endless number of flies we struggled to fight off, and the cheese was steadily melting. Not what I pictured for a cheese tasting. With some additional resources this place could be spectacular.

Patty, the owner, cheated me out of $200 for renting her my goats to eat her pasture. She only…read morechecked prices after the fact and decided to decrease her costs (with a witness) without even asking me. Then she wouldn't pay me and blackmailed me to sign a false receipt! She then rented my goats to another person without informing them of the cost. She thereby involved an innocent party in her scheme, again without asking me if moving my goats to another party's land was OK with me. My goats are my babies. I need to know where they are at all times. She claimed, after the fact, that I should have been driving a fair distance every other day to check on them. This was not part of our original deal. Besides, Patty OWNS A GOAT FARM AND SHOULD KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF GOATS! Patty advertises herself as a goat farmer, but she doesn't even have any of her own goats! This woman and her farm are a run-down fake. Patty is quite elderly and suffers from severe memory loss. She is not even able to walk into her pastures due to physical issues. Don't go there. You will be disappointed in the lack of authenticity. This goat farm is a definite has-been and suffers from deferred maintenance, an owner who can't remember anything, and junk strewn everywhere.

If you're looking for a creative way to connect with family this is the thing for you! Alana is an incredible instructor, she makes you feel like an accomplished artist by the time you leave. Not to mention the settings she host these events at are awesome, the best wineries/breweries Sonoma County has to offer. Her attention to detail is impeccable from the painting station to the food, she even provides hand sanitizer! I can't say enough about the positive and supportive environment the teachers create. They somehow balance the emotional, technical and creative sides of being a teacher of the arts. What stands out the most is that they don't just teach dance, they truly see the whole child. The teachers are incredibly thoughtful about each student's emotional development, confidence and creativity all while helping them develop technically as dancers. Sebastopol Ballet is so special. Their student's grow not only as dancers but as individuals; teaching them discipline, resilience, self awareness, perserverance, confidence and what it means to truly have a supporitve community of parents, students and teachers.

If I ever were to have a concern about my child's wellbeing, I know that I can extend a call to them to obtain their perspective and even ask for help. I also know that if they had any reason to be concerned, they'd extend me the same courtesy of a call to check on my child. I can't say enough about what this organization means to us as a family.

We decided to go with Preferred Sonoma Caterers from their vendor list and we were really happy with them as well. Sova including tables and chairs was amazing, and we did all our other rentals through PSC. We also rented the farmhouse for the week which I highly recommend. Our pictures from around the house turned out amazing. I have to stress that the website pictures don't do this place justice. It's beyond gorgeous.
