I am wildly enthusiastic about the Academy of Dance in the Spokane Valley. This is an authentic…read moredance studio with serious instructors, disciplined dancers and a healthy rapport amongst all dancers, parents, instructors and owner. The instructors are attentive to proper training and development to prevent injuries. In the 6+ years that I have been associated with this studio I have not seen any eating disorders or unhealthy practices. The performances are FULL productions at the beautiful Martin Woldston Fox theater. The Academy of Dance is also the home of the non-profit Spokane Youth Ballet. Her class was fun, included everyone and she made it so enjoyable. Every move was talked through and demonstrated together . Her positive energy made me feel at ease. The movements were made fun and I will tell you- easy to remeber with her way of teaching. A win for me.
