Due to the unreliability of a "corporate" company charging excessively high prices for a motel room in the middle of absolutely nowhere where there's absolutely nothing to do for entertainment, shower was not in proper working order, your "continental" breakfast choice severely limited, front desk girl hanging up on me because she didn't want to work past her allotted time, one would think they, corporate, would not only take their job responsibilities seriously but would actually do their job and in a timely manner. I live on a very tight strict budget wherein I get paid once a month. This money is detrimental for me to survive. Being that 3 weeks have passed payroll has to have been written and given so why couldn't a meager check be written and mailed? If this is how a corporate company operates they obviously do not take their job seriously enough to put a customer first then this corporation deserves to be known for their irresponsibility and I have absolutely no problem exposing them. Street parking was convenient. The building is incredibly cute with a nice porch and some cozy indoor spaces. The room and bed were comfortable. We ordered six dishes and genuinely wanted to give every benefit of the doubt, but the food felt underwhelming overall. Nearly every dish was heavily over-seasoned, with salt dominating the flavors. The pasta was overcooked and even saltier than the anchovy itself. The salad was overdressed and salty, the branzino followed the same theme, and the charred sunchokes were crusted with salt to the point of distraction . It left us wondering whether these dishes were pre-shift photo shoot plates or simply not tasting as they should in a live service setting. The creativity and intention seem to be there, but the execution missed the mark on balance. With a lighter hand and more restraint in seasoning, the food could easily match the incredible atmosphere. We'd happily return for the experience--and hope the kitchen fine-tunes the flavors to let the ingredients truly shine .
